I went there before things heated up in the summertime. Believe me, the walk to the actual ride is scenic, but when it is very hot outside, that scenic walk becomes a parking lot. Large umbrellas are installed in various parts of the walkway so the guests don't burn. It's also makes a good place to set up drinks and food at key level points on hot days. These key points mean you have 30 to 1 hour wait or longer. Six Flags America knows what the hell they are doing. I had pictures of what the inside of Panguian Station looks like, but can't find them on my Facebook page. Not that it matters, but you have the options of going to the left side or the right side. The difference is one party will be going first. Once on the tubes of destruction, you will be carried up the hill for your final destination. Depending on how many people are in your tube, you will find yourselves spinning faster and faster. You really don't get to soaked on this ride, but you will get some water on you. So if you don't want your butt to get wet, I recommend two things...grin and bear with a towel, or don't ride the ride. As The Panguian would say "You don't think you'll win do you?"

I was able to sit in one central location and see the entire park and my daughter. There is plenty to do from the multiple slides and obstacle courses but once a child is over 48 inches they are no longer able to ride. For now I will mark this as a favorite because momma was able to rest. There wasn't a line which was amazing and they now accept reservations. No vending machines or concessions so make sure you bring your own snacks and food. Lastly plenty of shades space and opportunities for seating and picnic tables .

It's such a great spot to burn summer energy and also practice water skills. I found the lifeguards to be really attentive and constantly counting the swimmers in their sections. My kids absolutely love the big and small waterslides and rode them about 20 times over the course of an hour or two. Even just a few days before the Fourth of July holiday, because we were there first thing, there were no lines, and things ran smoothly. I'm excited to check it out again, perhaps at a bit busier time, but it was great for our first visit.

Exclusionary policies on a 3ft deep pool…read more My special needs son wanted to go on the lily pads/floating log ropes course, so I asked if I could be present in the water to guide him because he's non-verbal and needs time to process directions. The head lifeguard said no, the other lifeguards will watch him. Some special needs children require accommodations that caretakers like his father (me) are highly attuned to. The teenaged lifeguards would simply blow their whistles and scream at my son as they've done before. I am there to assist as needed so 1) we avoid the screaming lifeguards, and 2) so he can experience what all the other kids can do on their own. Obviously we didn't go on it. Thanks for understanding, SplashDown, we'll never go there again. Side note: Some of these lifeguards hate their life and shouldn't be there.

The staff was very nice and there were plenty of lifeguards keeping close watch. The outdoor pool area consisted of - Large pool section that went from 3+ feet to 5 feet - 13 foot area with a diving board - Lazy river - 2 water slides About 40% of the area where you can sit is shaded (either trees or a canopy). I can tell that people came early to snag those spots. It's a very nice and well maintained facility. One thing to be aware of is that there is no re-entry. So make sure you bring everything from the car you need the first time. There is plenty of parking. Overall we had a great time and next time we will go closer to the time they open to get a shady spot.
