They said inspecting drains will cost $300-400. when they came in they said that was just the cost of one drain and that each drain would be incremental expense. That is fine but they should have mentioned this in advance. Of the pipes they checked, one of the pipes was completely blocked and so they could not even insert the camera but yet they charged us for all the pipes. I later checked on Amazon and the canera machine to check drain blockage isn't that expensive at all - next time I will just do it myself. read more

If you're in the process of buying a house and need your results ASAP, please go elsewhere. Firstly I ordered a sewer scope and oil tank sweep done, the oil tank sweep was not relayed by the dispatcher. Secondly the sewer scope equipment was without power, so we had to wait almost 45mins for someone else to bring that equipment. After all that the job took like maybe 25-30mins for the sewer scope to be done, he claimed there a several massive shifts and that the camera could not make it past the shifts. I was told if I had an iPhone he could airdrop me the video results same day, unfortunately I have android. So he said by tomorrow I would get it. Tomorrow came, nothing, I kept getting the run around by the dispatcher that he tried sending it and that it kept "crashing" and that they would have to do it from the office. In total over a week passed by no inspection report or estimation cost to repair the sewer line. The only reason I gave 2 stats as opposed to 1 is because Erik the dispatcher would actually responded all the times I contacted him, while Ryan the "inspector" did not bother responding when I both called and texted. This company has seriously gone down hill in quality and service. From not responding to a voice messages sent to having the service people say they will send you style of fixtures and not sending till I contacted the main office. Then asking me to go shop for the fixture myself and complain excessively about finding what I've chosen... from their list...that was the final straw. I have previously spent thousands of dollars with this company and felt like many others it was a bit overpriced, but the services. Were quick and the job done efficiently. In 5 days they could not replace a master suite sink faucet but had excuse after excuse why it couldn't be done. I've heard their is new management maybe owners.... Randy came out, wearing a mask to keep everyone safe, explained the process and results of the sewer scope we needed as well as quickly getting me the video of the sewer scope and checking out the rest of the house for any other potential issues. Jim was kind enough to get us an estimate on a replacement boiler that we needed in order to understand the scope of of the budget we needed to plan. if I could give this company zero stars I would they destroyed 2 rooms of my home and refused to fix it so we had to go through their insurance to fix it during this process we refused to pay them until the home damage was rectified after this resulting in a lien, after we agreeed to remove the lien during payment the owner said the lien will not be removed within the year unless more money and after clearly and blantantly lying to me and then proceeded to insult/mock me via email when inquiring about this very unprofessional shady and overall poor quality work, the cherry on top is that they did a poor job on the original plumbing as well. read more

The staff and technician of this company are amazing! After another plumbing company's no show, my insurance company assigned Hurricane Plumbing. The staff initially said they could not come until tomorrow morning. I told her that my water has been shut off for one day and we urgently need water for showering and flushing toilets. She was very understanding and scheduled Randy coming today. Randy is super professional and courteous. When he needed to get tools from his truck, he asked permission to come back in the house without ringing the bell again. After the job was done, he made sure that I would let him know when the water company turned on the water and everything worked fine. He is so nice and polite. read more

I love this company. From the first year I lived in my home I have only ever used this company. Eric is fabulous, and the guys he hires are terrific, too. When the big hurricane (Irene?) flooded my basement and wiped out my furnace, washer, dryer, water heater, Eric and his guys came and pumped out the basement and fixed it all. John, plumber technician, came out and did a great job. His customer service skill was great. In addition to doing the washer/dryer hookup, he recommend that I replace the old cast iron main stack to avoid any headaches. He even taught me a few things. Hello, I had a bad experience with this Company. I had a flood in 2014 which I was told that both tanks had to be replaced. Trusting this Company to take care of the situation without someone standing over them. I was taken advantage of being though I am a woman that had to work an didn't have anyone to be there when the job was done. My results was the tanks was never replaced an I kept having problems out of them. Not knowing this until now when I had to find another company to come an replaced my tanks this is when I recovered that these are the original tanks from the time I brought this house. I tried to get them to replace the tanks after this Storm that just passed in September. An haven't heard back from them since. Would not recommend this company at all they don't stand by they work an they are a fraud. Just a bunch of nice people... So my house is old as dirt, 100+ years old and I needed to have an almost 20 year old water heater replaced. Not only was the initial phone quote almost spot on, but the final quote was just a bit more after the on-prem estimate. Of course I needed a few more items replaced since the plumbing is so old and that was the diff btw the phone and physical estimates. I was also able to get the guys the swap out a pedestal tub faucet while they were here for the water heater. All in all price, service and staff were great! read more

2017- My mother (who is a senior citizen), had water flood her cellar. Hurricane plumbing came out and charged $4,000 for a new service line. After they left they promised to come back and remove the trash and all the stuff they broke in the cellar. I had to call for my mother numerous time before they came back. 2/2018 - My mother called Hurricane because she received a letter saying that the permits were not paid for and the plumbers were supposed to have their work inspected by city. Hurricane Plumbing promised they would go by and pay for the permit that week. THEY DID NOT and, my mother received a bill for $2,000. I would NEVER EVER use them again. The reason I am giving a bad review is that they forced us to do use their service. We had a leak in the water heater in our apartment late in the night on Saturday. We called several plumbing company and no-one could come except from Hurricane. Due to late night call he didn't have many tools, so he could not stop the leak. So as a stop gap, he put a pipe from heater to sink to drain the water quickly. We live in condo with a common shut-off valve for the entire building, so we couldn't shut the water off. He said, he would need to keep the pipe running continuously, and would need to replace the entire heater on Monday for which he would charge $1125+heater cost. I did some quick research and realized that he was overcharging a lot (more than double of what is typically charged). So I told him that let me shop around tomorrow for a better price and if I don't find anything better, I will go with them. I agreed to pay for the service he did that night. To that he responded that he would take the pipe with him and let it leak, if we don't give him upfront 50% of $1125 as advance and sign up for his service. In such a scenario we had to shut-off water for the entire building. This seemed like a black-mail to me, but I didn't have a choice at that odd hour since we had a newborn in house and didn't want to cause inconvenience to other residents of the building. read more

I don't understand why these guys have so many bad reviews. I had to replace my entire stack pipe from the second floor to the basement. These guys came in, gave me an estimate immediately they quoted me approx. $1,500 for the job. About a week later I called them back to begin the work. Now my house is over 100 years old and I don't have the blue prints for the layout, being that the house is so old, once you start breaking walls you're never going to know what your gonna find. With this being said of course there was an obstacle in replacing this pipe. We had 3 plumbers on site once we saw this wasn't going to be an easy task. The price jumped up $1,000 more. These are licensed plumbers and I wanted my repair done correctly. So I had no problem paying. These gentlemen were professional, clean and had great customer service and trade ethics. Given that I've been a construction manager for over 20 I would definitely call these guys back for any other plumbing issues that may arrive. read more

Good shape an a good cleaning with the high pressure jet would work just fine. After they jetted my line they showed me on the camera my line was clear with no break. He went out, got the equipment, returned, fixed all three units and was done before 5. DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR! This is the most horrible experience you will have. A bathroom renovation that became money pit. Poor service, poor workmanship - delays that cost way beyond what was budgeted. 5 day contract turned into 3 weeks! No professionalism at all! Eric will cut corners every where he can. I am still left dealing with his poor job. I just want them out of my home and life. They do not deserve even half the price paid for. Used my own trash bags to clean up, no one shows up for days, sub-contracted most of the work, ask to be paid for every little thing as extra. This company license should be removed! read more
