Definitely good options for mediterranean food. The food is labeled gluten-free and have dairy free, vegan and vegetarian options. I got the chicken kebab salad and my boyfriend got a gyro. Last night I ate at a Mediterranean restaurant in Southern Oregon and it was awful. I am not in the habit of posting negative reviews for family run businesses, even when the food is awful. However, it did prompt me to ruminate how truly lucky I am to have such a great quality and delicious Mediterranean restaurant right in my neighborhood. The food here is fantastic but it is a bit expensive. I could understand the high prices if this was a nice restaurant with some ambiance, but it's just a little hole in the wall and offers nothing as far as atmosphere. Yet, these are frequently the best hidden gems. But all-in-all, great food and you want leave here hungry. The portions are sufficient. read more

Wow! After having Hush Hush on my bookmarks list forever, I finally made it over there and it did not disappoint. Let me begin by saying what an exceptional experience we had made even more so by the service we received by the young woman behind the register and that brought us our food. I didn't catch her name, but she went above and beyond to make suggestions, tell us her favorites and preferences and was lovely and warm overall. She even gave us a complimentary pistachio baklava for dessert for my birthday. Wonderful! The food was fantastic. We got to try the beef, lamb and chicken kabobs and all were tender and seasoned to perfection. The rice, veggies and hummus were all great. Ambience is casual, very chill and relaxed. This is one of the best Mediterranean pls es ice ever been to. And I've been to Greece! It's in a strip mall but don't let the urban environment fool you. It's legit. The family that runs it are the sweetest and so accommodating! They will explain everything! The parking lot is the worst! Easily one of the best spots for Mediterranean food in the area! Their gyro meat is not dry at all and their schwarma meat is perfectly seasoned. We've tried probably half the menu by now and always come back for more. Portion size is good so I can typically have the other half for lunch the next day! Easy for pick up or dining in! We live just a few miles down the road and I really wish I could add this place to our regular rotation but, unfortunately, I cannot. We've given it a couple of tries now and it's a hard pass from here on. The gyro meat is overly salty and has an intense, artificially seasoned quality. The falafel is crispy enough but very bland as is the flavorless tahini sauce and lifeless tzatziki. The chicken shawarma salad came with an ample portion but, again, oddly seasoned, overly chewy, and unappetizing. The people who run the place seem nice enough but it's rather grubby and no one seemed to bother cleaning the tables from the night before. We had to ask for a sponge down at 11:30 am! There are some very good Mediterranean-style restaurants around the region but, imo, this just isn't one of them despite the strong reviews. read more
