Came here hungry! We ordered and received the chicken parmesan sandwich, yum yum yum. The ceasar salad was also unexpectedly delicious. And thanks to our tasteful waiters recommendation, we got to eat the most tasty tater tots! We ate at a peculiar time to say the least, so our waiter Hamilton went the extra mile to have an extended conversation with us. We asked about local sights to see, he answered in a pleasant, personable, professional manor. Truly a priceless experience! Thank you Hamilton for the warm welcome to Connecticut

Even as a vegetarian, I feel like I have plenty of options to choose from. Service is always friendly and helpful, even when asking for substitutions. Their rewards program is great and adds up pretty quickly. Here are some highlights about a few menu items I've tried over the years: - Eggplant parm grinder: delicious, crunchy bread and tons of melted cheese - no longer available, but I really loved their Caesar Veggie Patty sandwich they used to have on a fresh ciabatta roll. I'd get it for takeout all the time during the pandemic, and it was a great meatless option with a unique flavor blend. Please bring this back!! - Tater tot side: tastes like McDonald's hash browns in the best way possible, so light and fluffy. I could probably eat a bucket of these and they were cooked to perfection! - Side salads / any salad: always fresh, and the parmesan peppercorn dressing is my favorite version of it I can get anywhere! - Meatless wings (aka cauliflower bites): tons of sauces to choose from, and a unique offering I don't see often. The portion is huge! I love the parmesan garlic option but they're quite oily, so if you're getting takeout, beware - and have friends to split with because you'll get a ton! Tasty but I never need more than a few pieces worth - great to share. I also got a margarita flight today for their Sunday special, making it only $12 for 3 flavors that you can choose. They were sweet and not too boozy tasting, yet strong, and went down easily - I was impressed! Their beer and drink special menu is always changing and I can always find quality and unique offerings. The only thing I'd wish would be different is the ambiance. It's just always so dang dark in here, it makes me tired and feel like I'm in a much divier place than I am. They also always have this habit of seating you directly across from the one or two other occupied booths, so it feels like your neighbor can hear everything you're saying when it's not as busy. I really hate that and would appreciate more privacy! We also hate when we're seated in the first room by the entrance - it feels like such an afterthought, and sometimes staff is sitting in a booth right near you rolling silverware...just seems like you're not supposed to be there. Some of the booths by the bar are really small, and even when I'm the only one on my side, it feels like I'm about to fall out sideways, so I ask for a larger booth. The food and menu options here are truly great! My family requests to come here often. I just desperately want another light fixture or two and some more personal space while dining. Happy hour specials are also great, but they're not joking when they say you HAVE to sit at the bar for them! (Again a less nice atmosphere when you do that) Thanks for all the yummy memories, RRC, you're a much needed gem in the area!

While technically a sports bar, the food and drink quality is way above a normal sports bar. Right off the bat they serve waters. For mg first drink, I'm having a Black Manhattan made with Elijah Craig Small Batch, Carpano Antica, black walnut bitters and filthy cherries. Filthy Black Cherries are premium, all-natural Italian Amarena cherries, slow-cooked in copper pots and widely recognized as a top-tier garnish for whiskey and tequila cocktails, such as Old Fashioneds and Manhattans. Known for a sweet-tart flavor profile, they are a favorite among professional bartenders for their firm texture and rich syrup. The Manhattan is a classic, spirit-forward cocktail made with whiskey (traditionally rye), sweet vermouth, and Angostura bitters, stirred with ice and strained into a chilled glass, typically garnished with a maraschino cherry or a lemon twist. It's known for being strong, sophisticated, and balanced, with a mix of spicy, sweet, and bitter notes. This is real good. It is nicely garnished and perfectly balanced. I think the bartender is the owner. For out first appetizer, we are getting the Fornarelli's Meatballs. These are these of their "famous" meatballs made with their signature marinara sauce with fresh basil and mozzarella. These are good! Wow! We are next getting the Onion Rings which are their signature house-made onion rings fried golden brown with chipotle aioli. Yep. These are good! I like the sauce! For our third appetizer, we are getting the Sicilian Calamari which is fresh calamari and hot cherry peppers fried with their signature marinara sauce. These are tasty! I love the sauce! Sprinkle that lemon! For my next drink, I'm having the Pearly Old Fashioned made with Maker's Mark, filthy cherries, Cara Cara orange, raw sugar and Angostura bitters. Oh yeah! This is well garnished and perfectly balanced. For my entree, I'm having the Chicken Piccata made with chicken breast sautéed with artichokes and capers in a white wine sauce and chefs choice of starch and veggies. This is delicious! I love the sauce! For dessert, I'm having the Nonna's Tiramisu. This is their authentic tiramisu recipe just like Nonna used to make! We are also getting the Covonut Gelato Truffle made with coconut gelato, mango sorbet center enrobed by chocolate and coconut flakes. This is the biggest chunk of tiramisu I've ever had! What a great meal here!

We were a party of ten. I ordered a mojito, and was informed that there was no white rum available, so I just ordered another cocktail. When it came time to order dinner, I ordered the half chicken, only to be told that they were out of that, too, so I ordered a Cobb salad with steak. The food and drink were okay. Several appetizers were ordered; one order of nachos never arrived, we were told there was no calamari about 30 minutes after putting in our order. A couple of the meals were not eaten because they just weren't good. We had to ask for water and ask for utensils. Our waitress was nice, but overall, everything seems to be extremely disorganized, careless and overwhelmed. I would not return unless someone wanted to celebrate something and they wanted to go there.

"Got you on my mind but it's not enough Give me stadium…read morelove" (Carly Rae Jepsen) Anyone remember the old Farmington Marriott on Farm Springs Road, just off the Fienemann Road exit on I-84? Well, the Marriott is long gone- replaced by a glitzy ultra-modern apartment complex. And on the first floor of that apartment complex is a sports bar unlike any sports bar I've ever seen. Stadium XV brings the neighborhood sports bar to a whole new level. It has the expected big screen TVs, and we saw three broadcasts featuring soccer, golf and ESPN. But what really differentiates Stadium XV is their variety of interactive multi-sport simulated games. Want to kick a real soccer ball at a life-sized video goalie? Want to take a few at bats against a fire balling pitcher? Want to swing a real golf club on a video golf course? You can also kick a football field goal, play disk golf or footgolf. We even heard there is a Zombie Hunt option! The sports themed space is gorgeous and accented with stadium seats and scoreboards. And the various menus are awesome. When we walked in, we were greeted by the manager Dana, who gave us a personal tour of the restaurant and the new common areas of the apartments. Dana raved about their Maple Dijon Brussels Sprouts and Chicken Wings, so we included both in our order. For lunch, we hopped from the regular menu to their version of a Happy Hour menu, named "Pre-Game" to match their sports theme. We went with both of Dana's recommendations from the regular menu -8 wings for $15 and the Brussels Sprouts for $14. Then we jumped to the Happy Hour menu for calamari at $7. The jumbo wings are brined for 48 hours before dry roasting and can be ordered in five styles - Buffalo, Korean BBQ, House BBQ, Hot Honey, and Garlic Parmesan. Wings are served with house-made ranch or blue cheese. We went with four Korean BBQ and four Garlic Parmesan. The KBBQ wings were mine, and I was very satisfied with them. Two huge drumettes and two flats slathered in an addictive barbecue sauce. They were fantastic. And so were the Brussels Sprouts- roasted and tossed in a house-made maple dijon glaze with ground pistachios, goat cheese and fresh herbs. Outstanding. And then there was my calamari, one of my favorite (but tricky to execute) bar foods. I say tricky because I've been disappointed so many times with pale, soggy, chewy, limp noodle versions. But my Sweet Lord, these were great. Well-cooked to a golden crunch, zero traces of oil, and big giant pieces in a big giant portion. Just between you and me, this $7 Happy Hour choice is a GD steal. Our server Jenna was fantastic, as were our interactions with Dana who showed us around the restaurant's private rooms after our meal. Private parties are definitely on their radar, in fact they were setting up for two holiday parties last night. Our delicious lunch ran just $38.64 before tip, and we took home half the Brussels and Calamari. The wings never had a chance to escape their serving dish. Oh, and there's even more good news because they'll be adding a Weekend Brunch to their dining options in the New Year. Thank you, Dana and Jenna, for a great lunch at an amazing new venue. See ya for Brunch in 2025.
