We had a dinner reservation for 6pm and sports simulator reservation for 7-8pm on a Saturday. No table was ready for ready for 6pm, and our drink orders weren't taken until about 6:15. We were a party of ten. I ordered a mojito, and was informed that there was no white rum available, so I just ordered another cocktail. When it came time to order dinner, I ordered the half chicken, only to be told that they were out of that, too, so I ordered a Cobb salad with steak. The food and drink were okay. Several appetizers were ordered; one order of nachos never arrived, we were told there was no calamari about 30 minutes after putting in our order. A couple of the meals were not eaten because they just weren't good. We had to ask for water and ask for utensils. Our waitress was nice, but overall, everything seems to be extremely disorganized, careless and overwhelmed. "Got you on my mind but it's not enough Give me stadium love" (Carly Rae Jepsen) Anyone remember the old Farmington Marriott on Farm Springs Road, just off the Fienemann Road exit on I-84? Well, the Marriott is long gone- replaced by a glitzy ultra-modern apartment complex. And on the first floor of that apartment complex is a sports bar unlike any sports bar I've ever seen. Stadium XV brings the neighborhood sports bar to a whole new level. It has the expected big screen TVs, and we saw three broadcasts featuring soccer, golf and ESPN. But what really differentiates Stadium XV is their variety of interactive multi-sport simulated games. Want to kick a real soccer ball at a life-sized video goalie? Want to take a few at bats against a fire balling pitcher? Want to swing a real golf club on a video golf course? You can also kick a football field goal, play disk golf or footgolf. We even heard there is a Zombie Hunt option! The sports themed space is gorgeous and accented with stadium seats and scoreboards. And the various menus are awesome. When we walked in, we were greeted by the manager Dana, who gave us a personal tour of the restaurant and the new common areas of the apartments. Dana raved about their Maple Dijon Brussels Sprouts and Chicken Wings, so we included both in our order. For lunch, we hopped from the regular menu to their version of a Happy Hour menu, named "Pre-Game" to match their sports theme. We went with both of Dana's recommendations from the regular menu -8 wings for $15 and the Brussels Sprouts for $14. Then we jumped to the Happy Hour menu for calamari at $7. The jumbo wings are brined for 48 hours before dry roasting and can be ordered in five styles - Buffalo, Korean BBQ, House BBQ, Hot Honey, and Garlic Parmesan. Wings are served with house-made ranch or blue cheese. We went with four Korean BBQ and four Garlic Parmesan. The KBBQ wings were mine, and I was very satisfied with them. Two huge drumettes and two flats slathered in an addictive barbecue sauce. They were fantastic. And so were the Brussels Sprouts- roasted and tossed in a house-made maple dijon glaze with ground pistachios, goat cheese and fresh herbs. Outstanding. And then there was my calamari, one of my favorite (but tricky to execute) bar foods. I say tricky because I've been disappointed so many times with pale, soggy, chewy, limp noodle versions. But my Sweet Lord, these were great. Well-cooked to a golden crunch, zero traces of oil, and big giant pieces in a big giant portion. Just between you and me, this $7 Happy Hour choice is a GD steal. Our server Jenna was fantastic, as were our interactions with Dana who showed us around the restaurant's private rooms after our meal. Private parties are definitely on their radar, in fact they were setting up for two holiday parties last night. Our delicious lunch ran just $38.64 before tip, and we took home half the Brussels and Calamari. The wings never had a chance to escape their serving dish. Oh, and there's even more good news because they'll be adding a Weekend Brunch to their dining options in the New Year. Thank you, Dana and Jenna, for a great lunch at an amazing new venue. Very nice interior, nice service. We had a party of ten and the manager was very accommodating. The chicken wings were very good, especially the garlic Parmesan ones. The nachos were very good also. The tuna tacos were a little bit watery and the burgers were advertised as smashed burgers but they were just regular burgers. Nothing horrible here, just nothing very good. Traveling in the area staying in a nearby hotel and I usually like to frequent nearby sports bars, which usually have good food. Good service. There was only one guy working behind the bar trying to wait on tables tend bar, etc. He was working hard, with about 20 people in the bar. Food was OK but cool. Draft beer selection was OK. Stadium XV is a new sports bar that has opened in Farmington, inside the old Marriott on far Springs Road. I was there for an event with Work. We had a room with appetizers and desserts. First of all, the place could not have been decorated more appropriately! Make sure you look up when you come in because there are baseball bats hanging from the ceiling. There's an interactive game where you choose a sport and you can play electronically. They have a very nice and affordable happy hour. The apps were just OK nothing too spectacular but I realize that when you mass-produced food, it may not be as good if you order something. I can't wait to come back. We came here around 430 on a Thursday and were the first ones there. We struggled to get any sort of bar service... even though we were the only people there it took him 20 minutes to ask for our order, barely ever checked in even with clearly empty drink. I went for lunch and ordered a beer and their Nachos. This is in the old Marriot Hotel in Farmington which has been converted to apartments. I went mid afternoon and sat at the bar, the place has a club vibe. Service was great since I was the only one there, very nice bartenders and I met the owner. We unfortunately had a not so great experience a few weeks ago. First of all, the place is nice and it is cool to have a place like that locally. I thought the service and the decor were good, the food however, was a different story. Our biggest issue was that the food took 43 minutes to come out. So during that time there wasn't a lot of communication from the staff on what was going on and why the delay. When the food came out it was really disappointing. We got the Buffalo coliflower which was ok, but very mushy and Buffalo flavor was super strong. I had a spicy chicken sandwich (wrap) which was ok. The other 2 people at the party had chicken waffles sliders which I heard were good but it looks like the foot took so long that the waffle was saggy and the chicken was cold. Finally, the mac n cheese was ok, was very plain, good for a kid may not be willing to experiment w other dishes. To their credit the manager came out to our table to apologize and offered to take care of us. I took that as to take a portion of the bill off but he offered free dessert. We were so frustrated at that point that we wanted to leave but decided to give dessert a try, after manager had mentioned this pumpking cream brule was amazing. Well it was super disappointing, look at the pics it looked like a store bought piece of pie. The other dessert was ice cream waffles which I was expecting to be more than what it was. It was literally a waffle you make in the machine at the breakfast buffet with pieces of ice cream. We really wanted to like the place. We may even come back just for drinks, but it is going to be a while. Maybe they were getting the kinks out of being a new restaurant, but again was disappointing. Wish them the best. read more

Was there for apps and happy hour..had to order off the regular drink menu as the happy hour choices while they sounded good, weren't. Meatball app. 3 1/2 meatballs- they tasted like they'd been sitting around for a while...beef tacos..looked good but the meat was dry and grisly...calamari-was actually ok..spinach artichoke dip-kind of blah tasting. Owner is absolutely fantastic, very personable. staff is very well trained very friendly! The menu is amazing everything I've tried was a 10/10! You have to try their wings! I have been here two times, the only reason I am giving it a yes recommendation is because I am rooting for them. They are close to my home so here goes, The first trip I went and were seated and the owner very nice and personable came and talked up the place, I get it but I wish he would pay as much attention to his staff who took way to long to take an order and it was pretty empty at 5pm. I finally ordered a dirty martini and it was brought warm...when I finally got the server gentleman to come back 15 min he seemed shocked that I wanted it cold???? What??? I then had an emergency and had to leave. I went again with my husband and we got the happy hour menu, there were 4 people standing behind the bar and yet it was 10 minutes for anyone to address us, say hello or take a drink order. I ordered the seared yellow tuna taco and it was loaded with fillers, way too much pickled onion and a tiny piece of tuna (a bite) and not great. Husband had nachos and he liked them. He wanted another beer and again 4 people behind the bar including the owner and yet no one asked if they could get him another. Also, they gave us our meals , no utensils or napkins , we had to grab cocktail napkins from behind the bar. 4 people behind the bar and no one paying attention to the 4 people at the bar! As I said, I am rooting for you but as the owner, service is just awful. It's not enough to pump up the business if your staff is not on their game. You should be pushing refills, order taking and engagement rather than "telling" us how fabulous the place is, which it could be! I hope this serves as helpful! The food was bad, took 2 hours to come out, most of the people in my group got the wrong thing. They only had 2 chefs and 2 waiters for around 100 customers in the restaurant. They also only had 3 simulators that were taken for the entire 3 hours that I was there. Do not recommend. read more

We got the salmon gyro and one slider and two tuna tacos. The tuna tacos had a little bit too much sauce on them, but the burger slider and the salmon were excellent. We will be back! If you are looking for a great place to go for any occasion this is it. When we walked in the staff and large room was very welcoming with many TVs with different sporting events on. It was well lit and very clean. We had a large party of 6 adults and 6 kids. They were very accommodating and let the kids check out the many activities in the restaurant. The kids enjoyed watching the different games on the simulators, playing shuffle board and soccer in their recreation room. We ordered drinks and food for the kids and it came out quick. The apps were all good especially the brussels. The main courses were just want we were looking for and everything came out hot. Because we were a large party gratuity was included and it came out to be 40 a person. The wings came out very red along the bone. Not pink red. The waitress took them back to the kitchen and told us she took it off the bill. She explained to us it's brined for 48 hours and then baked for 45 minutes then deep fried. It's normal. I still didn't accept it and I can't imagine people would order wings knowing they will come out to you appearing under cooked. We ordered I believe 8 wings and three of them were very red. My wife ordered the BBQ chicken tacos. The tortilla was soaked in bbq sauce that it couldn't be picked up. She ate it with knife a fork. Not that it was a bad thing but it was overpowering with BBQ. We also ordered the chocolate crazy shake to go. $15 so it better be good. It's supposed to come with whipped cream, brownie, KitKat, chips ohoy cookie, chocolate chips sprinkles. The waitress said the goodies were in the box. We got in the car and it was chocolate milk, my wife opened the box and inside was 5 chocolate chips and some chocolate sprinkles. No brownie, no KitKat, no cookie. Not even whipped cream on the shake. My wife was livid. She wanted to go back and complain but I felt it wasn't worth it.
