My system was working great and appeared to have no problems heating and cooling my home. I skipped 2 years of service because I never experienced a failing. I had VSM Mechanical come out to inspect my system, give it a tune-up, and give me some peace of mind. The technician came out and turned what probably should have been a 30-minute visit into 2.5 hours! Everything was looking good until he peeled a section of dust and dirt off of the outside unit that looked like a wool blanket. VSM Mechanical conducted their inspection/check of the outside unit while cleaning the entire thing. I can only imagine the lower electric bills this summer. I was given an explanation of what makes a unit operate with efficiency in language I could understand. VSM Mechanical has returned a great deal of value to my entire HVAC system and they have gained a solid customer.

Higgins Sewer & Drain Cleaning was the ONLY company that was will to come in an look at the issue and fix the problem. The big guys either didn't want to mess with the problem or immediately pointed the finger at the wastewater company and said that I'd probably have to dig up my sewer line since my property was older. The technician came out and cleaned out 4 large bunches of tree roots and the water immediately started draining. They came back a couple of days later to camera my sewer stack and sewer line and delivered great news that I had no other issues. I was also extremely pleased with the reasonable price they charged for their services. I will definitely use this business again when needed and for preventive measures.

I had to write this review. Plumbing Plus just left our house and I had such a good experience with…read morethem they deserve this review. I was very frustrated trying to find someone to repair our outside water hydrant because it required cutting through drywall in our basement to get to the water line. Another plumber had told us it was located in a different spot in the basement and recommended we just make it nonfunctional outside, which we did. For his visit (and inaccurate diagnosis with a camera--I do think this other plumber was well-intentioned he just didn't know what he was talking about) he charged us $100 and told us if we decided to fix it by cutting through drywall it would cost $698. I didn't go with him because he said he couldn't be responsible for any structural damage if it occurred (He thought he had to go through a joist.) Based on this information, I told Plumbing Plus the situation and over the phone they bid $280 to fix it. This morning they came out and found that the faucet access was in a different spot. They found exactly where it was and cut through the drywall in that spot., fixed it in less time (probably 30 minutes or so) and only charged me $135. Prior to this, they also sent me proof of licensure and insurance. They said they'd be here at 8 am and they were actually here exactly at 8 am. I've never had that happen. I'm so thrilled because I find it so hard to find honest contractors who know what they are doing. These guys do. The plumber's name was Mark Chadwick. Thank you, thank you!!! By the way, you'll need to find someone else to fix the drywall. Plumbers don't do this, but at least now you know who to call for your plumbing.

We discussed what was needed, he walked me through what had changed since my last one was installed and what he could do. He got the new heater in without issue, the price was the price and there's been no issue since. Jeff was patient, clear and upfront, kept his word and was an excellent example of a true professional (wore shoe covers, put down tarps to collect rust/dust, showed up when he said he would, and the price didn't change). If you're needing their services I couldn't recommend anyone higher. If needed , they'll definitely get the call first!
