HWY 341 diner attached to BP gas station is not a great looking place and the bathroom was good. But the Food was really great. I had the chicken tenders they made their own batter and they were very good. fresh cut French fries were great. Service was good. I needed to stop on the highway but would not recommend eating on site. Maybe grab it to go on the road. read more

After a fun day of target practice a few miles down the road we were hungry. I opened the yelp app and quickly found the HWY 341 diner as we traveled down I-20. My husband has already eaten here several times with his hunting buddies and told me that he was already planning to take us here. What an amazing gem in a small town right off the interstate next to BP. We walked in and were greeted by 2 nice ladies behind the counter and ordered 2 chicken salad sandwiches (Ace's Hill) with sweet potato fries and a coke. The food was outstanding, and came with a pickle on the side. My mother in law had the Flatwoods Burger (cheeseburger) and fries. They prepared everything quickly. The decor reminds you of a country home. We truly enjoyed our meals and could not finish the very generous portions in one sitting. Very clean and we will definitely be back the next time that we are in the area. read more

On our way home from the beach we stopped at this diner that is adjacent to a gas station. Do NOT let the location throw you from stopping. The food is DELICIOUS and so reasonably priced. My cousin and I both had The Middle Field which was a pulled pork sandwich that comes with the sauce added, slaw if you like, a dill pickle spear and one side. I chose fries and my cousin got the sweet potato fries. The fries were hand cut and deep fried. This was the most satisfying meal I've had in a long while from an independently-owned business. Tia took our order and was one of those persons that you feel an instant connection with. We had great conversation about her son who was taking his first train trip to New York as we were ordering. She was just genuine and nice and I knew if I lived in the area we would be friends. I highly recommend stopping if you are driving through the area. It is just off the interstate and easy to get to. Definitely off the beaten path, this little diner is tucked into a gas station in Bishopville off the interstate. I tried it for a quick lunch while traveling for work between facilities, and this was certainly a unique Philly cheesesteak. Traditionally, I expect a hoagie type bun but this was a philly-steak burger almost. The toasted bun and seasoning on the meat changed the flavor in a great way from your standard sandwich. The fries were average but portion sizes and prices were great. It is all cooked to serve, so it comes out fresh and hot. If I'm in the area again, I'll stop by to try something else off their home cooking-styled menu. read more

Doesn't look like much when you drive by, attached to a little gas station, but it's actually pretty good for a hole in the wall. Quick and great service, southern hospitality, and it's own diner charm. Food was great and very affordable. We got sausage and gravy with a side of bacon and eggs. The eggs were wonderful!
