Despite being busy, the service was great. Very attentive. We had the bacon and cheese biscuits with house made pimento cheese to start. Everything was delicious! The biscuits were fresh, warm, and flavorful. The menu had fun names for their entrées, and I can't remember mine, but I ordered fried grit cakes topped with fried green tomatoes and a perfectly cooked egg that when popped, oozed delicious yellow yolk over the beautiful creation. It came with a side of bacon and I chose bacon maple biscuit. You definitely have to try the bacon maple biscuit, it is like dessert! So delicious. We will definitely come back and try more!

The biscuit was warm, fluffy, and buttery, and the entire dish was packed with flavor. It's the kind of comforting, indulgent breakfast that makes you want to slow down and enjoy every bite. Everything about the experience was casual, welcoming, and exactly what you want from a great local diner. If you're looking for a hearty breakfast or brunch with plenty of flavor, definitely give Twisted Biscuit Diner a try. I'll absolutely be back!

I really liked this place. It was super cute. Small little area great service we were seated…read moreimmediately and close to closing time. Our waitress was on point. The food was subpar. What disappointed me and threw me for a loop was that the bacon is already cooked microwavable bacon. I honestly have had enough with these restaurants that are serving cooked microwavable, bacon and charging $3.99 for it. If you want to charge $3.99 for three pieces of bacon, it better start being fucking real bacon. I am now walking into restaurants and flat out asking them if it's the microwavable pre-cooked bacon or if it's real raw bacon before they even think about charging me that much. It doesn't happen much in restaurants, but I noticed that I haven't said anything when I do find that they serve it and I'm not doing that shit anymore. Other than that, like I said, everything else was subpar the home fries were cooked well and were seasoned pretty well. The eggs were subpar just your standard eggs. The kiddo loved her hot cake and sausage. She did mention the same thing about the bacon. other than that like I said service was great. Definitely noticed a lot of the waitresses like to gossip but they were all really sweet, but I guess that's what we all do at work. Also, this is for anybody that reads this that goes to any restaurant start keeping an eye on your freaking children. When we were in there, we kept noticing that there was a child that was literally just walking around, touching every single freaking table that was vacant and cleaned, and the parents weren't doing a damn thing about it, but touching all over each other and ignoring their children, and the dad spent the majority of his time on his phone. Be a better parent and engage with your children and keep an eye on your children and again that part does not affect the rate of this restaurant.

Used to be a favorite spot for breakfast…read more This morning we went for breakfast and I brought my latte from home as usual. I was told to take it out to the car or leave. New no outside beverage policy. They don't offer lattes and we were all ordering breakfast, not just sitting around drinking coffee from home. Was told they make most of their money off coffee? Isn't it like $3 with refills? Not like I bought my own eggs. Cool. Left and went to waffle house. Prob wont be back. So, they lost $30-$40 in sales because of a $3 coffee? Sound business decision.

The restaurant was not too busy when we got there. Our friends were already seated and waiting for us. There had ordered water for the table and had their coffees. Joshua appeared shortly after we exchanged pleasantries with our group. He checked in and we ordered coffee as well. He returned with the coffee and took all our orders. Two of our friends frequent the cafe weekly so he already knew what they wanted. The rest of us were able to order. We received our food in a reasonable time. Joshua and Kim checked in periodically to make sure we didn't need anything and kept the coffee flowing. I had the Pot Roast Omelette with Home Fries and a Biscuit. It was ok. Everyone else enjoyed their food. I would recommend the cafe adding fresh fruits to the menu. By the time we got ready to leave, there was a line of people waiting to be seated. We had to sidled out the door. The cafe is quaint and popular with the locals of Mount Dora. I am open to returning and trying something else on the menu.
