Kelly has been nothing but kind, compassionate, and patient with me and my concerns... and above all, she is exceptionally knowledgeable and skilled. I came to her for a consultation, and she suggested I do a course of fotofacials followed by a mild chemical peel. I was irrationally scared about this (think, TV characters with bright red skin for comedic effect), but I am so glad I trusted her expertise because I am thrilled with the results. For the first time I can remember in years, my skin is completely blemish-free. My skin tone is even. My acne scars and fine lines have softened. My skin is tighter and glowing. By the account of that one family member who tells it like it is, I've shaved 5 or 10 years off my appearance (ha, she's right though). It is wonderful to be able to go out without a pound of makeup on my face. However, recently I learned Dermatology Consultants doesn't bill for preventative anymore. In the past annual melanoma skin exams were billed as preventative and $0 through insurance. This change alone doesn't warrant a bad rating - but the reason I am rating 4 stars instead of 5 stars is some of the staff still will still tell you that most insurance will bill $0 for one annual melanoma skin exam. Will be trying someplace else for preventative work - but still a fan of Dermatology Consultants. [Original Review] Scheduled a preventative 'Full Body Exam' of melanoma in April 2026, but was submitted to insurance as a typical office appointment 'Office O/p Est 30 Min'. My experience here was absolutely perfect, Angela is super knowledgeable and honest when it comes to her prices, products, and what she thinks would look best for you if you're not 100% sure on making a decision. The day before my appointment I was texted thorough instructions on how to reach her office, which was very helpful because navigating to it was quite challenging. There is a parking garage and also a few parking spots before the gated community area, but the spots are sparse. I recommend doing free street parking along the area, either the sidewalk in front of StudioPlex or the residential streets nearby and walking to the clinic, which will be through the walkway you see directly under the big StudioPlex sign. You have to walk quite a bit into the walkway, and eventually you'll see the clinic's sign out front. The interior of the clinic is clean and decorated nicely, with info pamphlets about the products being used and services offered. Through the entire process--consultation and procedure--Angela gave very helpful advice and I ended up adding on a botox treatment for my TMJ while also providing aesthetic results. I definitely would come again, you're shown immediate before and after pictures, and despite the differences the end result for me came out so natural and exactly what I was hoping for! This was my first time having any injectables done - I got filler in my lips and arrived still needing a consultation and professional opinion. My appointment was at 9:35 am on a Sunday at the studioplex location. I was nervous about the pain of injections after googling how bad it would hurt the night before but Angela put me at ease and totally accommodated me (had me lay down in case I passed out, iced my face, etc). I arrived about 30 mins early and Angela was able to see me about 20 before my actual appointment time, super considerate of my time. We had a brief consultation and talked about being conservative but still achieving the results I wanted. She numbed my lips for ~15 mins and they were good and numb by the time she started injecting. I am very particular and perfectionistic so it was a big leap of faith to trust someone with my face but Angela just gets it. My results are beautiful and she specifically said in my appointment the goal is to make it look like your lips, but better - not make it look different. I didn't know exactly the amount of filler I wanted and she basically said she would inject until it looked great, ended up using about 7/10ths of the syringe. Definitely the kind of professional to make the choice to send you home with beautiful results rather than try and sell another syringe or treatment just because she can. The injections felt like someone was just pinching me with tweezers, not even as bad as a bee sting. So so quick and easy. No pain after and hardly any swelling! I have a very light bruise 2 days later but it looks like nothing happened to anyone other than me. Literally everything could not have gone better. I think I walked out 30 minutes after my appointment was scheduled to start, so efficient. I will absolutely be back for Botox and recommend Angela to anyone who asks!
