This facility can seat so many and it's really multi functional. We were visiting for a weekend basketball tournament and I was told the building sat vacant for awhile until they turned it into a sports complex. They even have sports therapists on site! The food inside is pretty high so I tried to eat prior to arrival and after leaving. Once seated inside it was very clean for this type of facility and I didn't feel like the floors were nasty or as if I was running a risk of sitting in a nasty seat

Hy-Vee Sports Arena totally transformed Kemper Arena with 12 full-sized hardwood courts striped for Basketball, Volleyball, and Pickleball! They have over 82,000 square feet of hardwood flooring plus a 350m track with trainers and coaches. Hy-Vee Arena's approach to sports includes retail, dining, fitness, and entertainment. All under one roof!

Workout machines clogging up the workout space.

The courts look nice but their workout room leaves everything to be desired. A whole arena and only about 2000 square feet of machines.

This is an interesting mix use space. It's a multi level sports arena with shopping, restaurants, a gym, and arcade. New shops and restaurants are still moving in, so I'm excited to check it out again later in the year and see how they've grown.

Subject: Formal Complaint: Discrimination and Misconduct by Security and KCPD at T-Mobile Center on…read moreMay 16, 2026 To: Guest Services / Security Management T-Mobile Center 1407 Grand Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64106 guestservices@t-mobilecenter.com CC: Kansas City Missouri Police Department, Office of Community Complaints Missouri Attorney General's Office, Civil Rights Division Date: May 20, 2026 From: Michelle Grandview, MO Dear T-Mobile Center Management, I am filing a formal complaint regarding discriminatory treatment and misconduct by T-Mobile Center security staff and a KCPD officer on Saturday, May 16, 2026, during my son's college graduation ceremony for UMKC. Incident Details: Time/Location: Saturday, May 16, 2026, at approximately 7:30 PM at the back entrance of T-Mobile Center during the UMKC graduation. What Happened: I exited and attempted to re-enter through the back entrance. I was stopped by security and told I could not re-enter. At the same time, I personally witnessed a white family being allowed to re-enter through that same entrance without issue. I was singled out and denied the same access granted to others. Escalation: When I asked to speak to a supervisor, my request was ignored by security. A KCPD officer on site then threatened me with arrest simply for asking for a supervisor. I was not disruptive, threatening, or violating any posted policy. Staff Involved: I do not have badge numbers or names. The security staff and KCPD officer involved can be identified via security camera footage from the back entrance at approximately 7:30 PM on May 16, 2026. I request that this footage be preserved immediately. My Concerns: Discrimination: Denying me re-entry while allowing a white family to re-enter is disparate treatment based on race. This violates Title II of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Missouri Human Rights Act §213.065 RSMo, which prohibit discrimination in places of public accommodation. Intimidation by Law Enforcement: Threatening arrest for requesting a supervisor is retaliatory and an abuse of authority. Premises Liability: Under Missouri law, T-Mobile Center has a duty to ensure its agents treat invitees lawfully and without discrimination. Requested Resolution: Immediate preservation and review of all security footage from the back entrance at approximately 7:30 PM on May 16, 2026. Identification of and investigation into the security staff and KCPD officer involved. Written response within 10 business days detailing findings and corrective actions, including anti-discrimination training. Written apology for the treatment I received at my son's graduation. Please confirm receipt of this complaint and that all relevant video and records will be retained pending investigation. This was my son's college graduation. No parent should be subjected to racism and police threats on a day meant for celebration. Michelle

Situated north of downtown, right on the Mighty Mo (the river, not the battleship!), the views here are absolutely stunning! Especially from a little higher in the stands on the northeast side, you get an incredible view of the KC downtown skyline, as well as the sun setting and reflecting on the river! WOWWW!!!! I love the size of the stadium - large enough to feel "professional", yet cozy enough to really enjoy the on-field action, and easy to move around and through! The seats are colored TEAL, the lights (can be) colored TEAL, and the swag is definitely colored TEAL!!! This stadium REALLY shines at night, under the lights, when the teal seats light up like a gorgeous blue aquarium! There are concessions galore, an AWESOME team store to update your swag, and even ice cream from one of my absolute favorite KC vendors available: High Hopes (check out that review - INCREDIBLE flavors!)!! Even getting through security and ticketing was far better than your average stadium experience - quick, efficient, and technology-driven! If I'm being super critical, my only knock on the whole place is the (lack of) ease of entry/exit into the complex. Obviously, this is inherent to such a prime, metropolitan location - a tight squeeze into the midtown area was always going to make it difficult to access, especially for weekday gametimes that come up against rush-hour traffic in and out of the downtown area. Unfortunately, on our visit, there was also major construction going on right across the street from the stadium. Bottom line: STUNNING place to view a great game of football (yup, I went there!) in KC!!

It's genuine consideration that I felt especially when they knew it was our first game at CPKC! My entire family enjoyed the upgrade to West club! The food and drinks served were delicious. The featured mixed drink was delicious and I appreciated the treatment and customer service, always friendly with a smile! The energy throughout the game was upbeat and fun! The Surface Tension drum-line and chats kep us, the stadium crowd, engaged and I'm pretty sure the team rallied with every rumble! The KC Current team played against Washington Spirit and won their last game of the season during Current's Female Athlete Night! We truly enjoyed everything! The swag we picked up from different local entities like UMKC, University of Kansas, United Way and League of Women Voters, was a bonus!

The atmosphere inside the stadium was simply incredible. Sitting among American, Algerian, and Austrian fans created an unforgettable experience. Everyone was there for the same reason--to celebrate the world's game. The energy was electric, but it was also respectful and family-friendly. The opening ceremony was one of the highlights of the evening. Watching the flags enter the stadium and hearing each country's national anthem gave me goosebumps. It was one of those moments that reminds you sports can bring people together regardless of where they call home. The United States has done an outstanding job hosting the World Cup, and Arrowhead Stadium showcased that on full display. It made me proud to see visitors from around the world being welcomed with such hospitality. I was in town for the World Cup and figured what the heck, I'll make it ALL about sports! The parking was fairly cheap and nicely organized, though a marker to find our car would have been great, maybe colored poles, or funny named section markers. We ate a while before coming so we just got sweets and a drink. I was happy to get a scarf for the giveaway ala FIFA style, but I liked the other companies that were there promoting themselves and doing giveaways (towels, hand sanitizer). I got soft serve at Hawaiian Bros before realizing they had another ice cream shop on site! Oh well it was fine. I liked the fountains as a nice touch; I can always stare at water when I'm bored, and the color lights in the fountain changed, which was a nice effect. The layout of the stadium is pretty standard, but I was not nuts about the smoking sections near drinks/food. Where I'm from the smoking section is away from food and drinks. The funky artwork around there was nice for 'non-sports' fans. I also wanted to come for fireworks. I have to say the music and fireworks were stunning to watch, especially near the fountains! Of course the food is overpriced so it's best to eat beforehand, but we actually saw a vodka seltzer tasting with free samples! That's not too typical in Chicago! A nice surprise. David M has a point about public transportation. To have TWO stadiums across the street from one another and no buses to get to them is criminal! I get it is near residences, but a shuttle of some sort should be an option!

I guess I'm glad to have tried it, but the worn out vibes, the not-so-helpful skeleton crew, and some other issues have me admitting it was a mistake. This used to be a shiny, vibrant feeling theater as the Alamo Drafthouse, but now it feels like it's hanging on for dear life. When we walked in it was silent, and they had the guy running the snacks also doing ticket check in. So basically we had to wait in line to get scanned as the poor guy was overstretched. I figured let's grab a bottle of water which was like $7-$8.. ridiculous. One of the selling points is we thought they did food here so we could get dinner -- nope. Kitchen was closed. For the kids movie we saw (Eleo) it was all the way up and the escalators were broken. Schlepped our way up carrying the youngest and through the uncanny, silent space. Saw the movie, were the only ones there, the theater was fine if not a little odd. When we were leaving I asked someone working how to validate my parking. Instead of, you know, doing it, he pointed me to a little white machine. I put my ticket in, but it didn't seem quite right. I asked the guy (who was wearing AirPods) if it worked and he said yes. I started to put it through to double check and he emphatically stopped me from it and assured me it worked. So we haul the kids back to the Cosentino's garage, wait forever to get out of it, and then when we scan our ticket instead of the gate opening we get hit with a $27 charge, despite having seen a movie and having parking covered per their website. I was freaking pissed, but we had a ton of cars behind us and no one manning the booth (side note, companies, you can't keep trying to get away with having no one working your space, your businesses simply don't function without people.) I ate the charge and reached out to the theater about it. Valerie with customer service was friendly, but let me know the manager essentially said they won't be doing anything about it. So yeah, $60 for a movie that will be streaming in a few weeks, $7 for a small bottle of water, and $27 for parking that should've been free. Hard pass on this and any other theaters this group runs, this was a crappy experience.
