Incident Details: Time/Location: Saturday, May 16, 2026, at approximately 7:30 PM at the back entrance of T-Mobile Center during the UMKC graduation. What Happened: I exited and attempted to re-enter through the back entrance. I was stopped by security and told I could not re-enter. At the same time, I personally witnessed a white family being allowed to re-enter through that same entrance without issue. I was singled out and denied the same access granted to others. Escalation: When I asked to speak to a supervisor, my request was ignored by security. A KCPD officer on site then threatened me with arrest simply for asking for a supervisor. I was not disruptive, threatening, or violating any posted policy. Staff Involved: I do not have badge numbers or names. The security staff and KCPD officer involved can be identified via security camera footage from the back entrance at approximately 7:30 PM on May 16, 2026. I request that this footage be preserved immediately. My Concerns: Discrimination: Denying me re-entry while allowing a white family to re-enter is disparate treatment based on race. This violates Title II of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Missouri Human Rights Act §213.065 RSMo, which prohibit discrimination in places of public accommodation. Intimidation by Law Enforcement: Threatening arrest for requesting a supervisor is retaliatory and an abuse of authority. Premises Liability: Under Missouri law, T-Mobile Center has a duty to ensure its agents treat invitees lawfully and without discrimination. Requested Resolution: Immediate preservation and review of all security footage from the back entrance at approximately 7:30 PM on May 16, 2026. Identification of and investigation into the security staff and KCPD officer involved. Written response within 10 business days detailing findings and corrective actions, including anti-discrimination training. Written apology for the treatment I received at my son's graduation. Please confirm receipt of this complaint and that all relevant video and records will be retained pending investigation. This was my son's college graduation. No parent should be subjected to racism and police threats on a day meant for celebration. Michelle

We've been to a lot of concerts there over the years and the building and bathrooms have never been so well taken care of. Just wanted to come on here and give the building staff a compliment. All of your hard work really made the concert going experience that much better. Thank you! The only thing that would help get to the 5 stars is if they monitored the indoor smoking a bit more and water didn't cost $5 a bottle. But really, overall, great job, T-Mobile Center.

Specifically..The Ted Lasso promo event. What a VERY dissapointing event!!…read moreWe arrived early to get the promo scarf but were told they were already out... there couldn't have been more than a few hundred people in the stadium when we got there. Later we saw 2 employees dragging a huge box of scarves into the guest services office. We went over to ask about them but was met with the door being shut in our face before we could politely ask about them. Later in the evening there was a woman with a bunch around her neck walking around asking trivia questions but she only allowed one of us to play the game ( there were two of us)... And yet we saw her putting scarves around three little children who weren't even capable of playing the game a few minutes later. Now for the worst part of the evening...Fans were not allowed to sit in the shaded area of the stands and were told that we had to sit in the lower seating area on the east side in the glaring sun if we wanted seats, and that they were "filming" and wanted to make sure that the lower area was filled first. Yet the lower area on the west/shaded side was only open to VIPs. ( this was a free event and there was no option for a VIP ticket. So we have no idea how those seats were distributed) They had huge fans set up but they weren't turned on. It was a heat index of 102°!! We were forced to stand in the common areas for shade for 1.5 hrs before they finally opened up the shaded upper area on the west side. We know of two people that were overcome by heat, one of them was a child. Now about the Ted Lasso part of the event...The fact that five members of the cast came out said "hi" and were on the screen less than a minute before showing a 1 min preview clip of the next season & then leaving was very dissapointing. we never saw them again. Later there seemed to be social media posts that showed more but that didnt actually happen was shocking. We really expected a little more from this promotion due to the hype and the Ted Lasso bus riding around Kansas City all day. Very poor planning, and a lot of disappointed fans leaving the stadium early. We rode back on the streetcar to a lot of people just complaining about how disappointed they were and how badly it was handled. One more item that was very disappointing was for a FIFA Semi final watch party event the speaker system in the stadium was not working well. Fans could not hear what was going on at all and a lot of people left to go other places to watch the game. So, hey #brittneymahomes...while you were enjoying yourself at Chiefs stadium, your business venture really bombed this event.

Our first impression was the outstanding customer service. Whether it was the ticket takers, concession staff, or guest services team, everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The stadium itself was also immaculate. One of the best things about an 11,500-seat stadium is that there really isn't a bad seat in the house. The sightlines are excellent, and it's a quick walk to the concessions and restrooms from just about anywhere. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to install some of those Big Ass Fans beneath the roof overhang to help keep fans cooler on warm evenings. We were in Section 231, Row 18 on July 29. It was about 90 degrees with lower humidity and overcast skies. You could feel a nice breeze when walking through the concourse, but once we were back in our seats, the air felt warm and still. The new Morton Amphitheater uses these fans under its roof, and they make a noticeable difference. If CPKC Stadium is ever expanded, they would be a terrific addition. The match itself couldn't have been much better. The Current defeated Racing Louisville 5-1, and the first four goals were scored at our end of the field in the first half. We definitely picked the right side to sit on! Someone told us to stop by Guest Services for a complimentary First Match pin. Not only did we get the pin, but the two wonderful staff members also surprised us with a few extra pieces of Current swag, including a sticker and another pin. What a fantastic first experience. We can't wait to come back!

I took my daughter who is 9 and being down close was so fun for her. Plenty of yummy eats to try. We love BBQ so Chef J is always a stop for us at the stadium. Loaded tots are so delightful. We also grab a souvenir cup every time and I love the new plastic lids that keep spills and bugs from your drink. The drink holders in the seats in front are great! I love all the local to KC food options. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. I wish there were some hand sanitizers available too. We visited the hall of fame hallway and pro shop this in itself is a cool experience. There are plenty of photo op places near there including a giant Arrowhead. The Chiefs cheerleaders are so sweet but I wish there were more crowd interactions with them and KC Wolf . Games or chances to win merchandise etc like they do at the Royals.

I am not sure if the problems were how FIFA organized this or the logistics of the place, but the journeys into and out to the buses were nightmares! We paid for a shuttle to take us there, but there was what HAD to be 1 mile walk between the dropoff and the stadium! It was so hot, we needed a post shuttle shuttle! Seriously? The parking lot was also filled with FIFA sponsors and a store of course to buy merch. WE passed overflowing containers of bottles and things that were not allowed in. Once we got close, there were no well defined and organized lines near the gates or entrances. People were a little frustrated but no incidents that I saw. Getting in was ok, but we passed what seemed like 3 levels of security, which I can totally understand for such a huge event. Once inside we were fine. The setup of the stadium pretty standard. We ate a couple of hours before, so we just got drinks and snacks. (the price of Flamin Hot Cheetos was crazy!) and my party got a souvenir cup. The inside photos of the match were great! WE had nice seats to see the action; as a Chicagoan I compare most stadiums to Soldier Field, and it's not much better or worse. The bathrooms were ok, I think, and the red/yellow seats were unique. Getting out was just terrible! We visited a couple of booths in the parking lot to get free swag, and when it came time to head to the buses, there were crowds and ill organized lines with signs of where to go. It was a long, hot hour plus nightmare with people getting very cranky (us included). WE opted for the bus when we read that FIFA wanted $120 for parking!! Nuts to that! OTOH, with an early flight, getting to a car and heading back to the hotel at a decent hour seemed priceless.

I guess I'm glad to have tried it, but the worn out vibes, the not-so-helpful skeleton crew, and some other issues have me admitting it was a mistake. This used to be a shiny, vibrant feeling theater as the Alamo Drafthouse, but now it feels like it's hanging on for dear life. When we walked in it was silent, and they had the guy running the snacks also doing ticket check in. So basically we had to wait in line to get scanned as the poor guy was overstretched. I figured let's grab a bottle of water which was like $7-$8.. ridiculous. One of the selling points is we thought they did food here so we could get dinner -- nope. Kitchen was closed. For the kids movie we saw (Eleo) it was all the way up and the escalators were broken. Schlepped our way up carrying the youngest and through the uncanny, silent space. Saw the movie, were the only ones there, the theater was fine if not a little odd. When we were leaving I asked someone working how to validate my parking. Instead of, you know, doing it, he pointed me to a little white machine. I put my ticket in, but it didn't seem quite right. I asked the guy (who was wearing AirPods) if it worked and he said yes. I started to put it through to double check and he emphatically stopped me from it and assured me it worked. So we haul the kids back to the Cosentino's garage, wait forever to get out of it, and then when we scan our ticket instead of the gate opening we get hit with a $27 charge, despite having seen a movie and having parking covered per their website. I was freaking pissed, but we had a ton of cars behind us and no one manning the booth (side note, companies, you can't keep trying to get away with having no one working your space, your businesses simply don't function without people.) I ate the charge and reached out to the theater about it. Valerie with customer service was friendly, but let me know the manager essentially said they won't be doing anything about it. So yeah, $60 for a movie that will be streaming in a few weeks, $7 for a small bottle of water, and $27 for parking that should've been free. Hard pass on this and any other theaters this group runs, this was a crappy experience.
