This place is in the heart of downtown KC directly across from the Power & light district. Great place for concerts. I do recommend getting a seat in the lower level rather than the upper level. For me the upper level is too steep. If you catch a concert, highly recommend getting a hotel room in downtown. This way you don't have to deal with the traffic/parking of leaving a concert.

No seats on either side of me. Perfect!

Enjoyed the New Edition Way Tour 2026 with Boyz II Men and Toni Braxton. The venue was easily accessible, the staff were very informative and ready to assist. I had a great seat, section 104 row 1 seat 1 and there was no seat to my right or left. PERFECT for my first solo concert experience. Security was plentiful and kind. I didn't purchase from concessions so I can't speak of that process but all in all it was such a great time

This venue is located at the center of entertainment and restaurants which is a plus. However, the parking situations is difficult and expensive for events. It took 1 hour to exit the nearby garage the last event we attended ($30). The seating is super tight and uncomfortable. The lines are long and the drinks are expensive (and not much variety). I'm on the fence about going to events here but am glad for KC that big names are brought in for performances.

Attended the WinKC Celebration for Women in Sports. The atmosphere was electric. The seating on the floor was for those who purchased tables. There was also general seating around the entire arena and not a bad seat in the house because the program was shown in two huge screens to the side of the stage. As well as being shown on the jumbo tran. I didn't do the confession stand during this visit but they were open with a variety of snacks and drinks. Pricing was usual event pricing for the concessions but I will say the popcorn smelled delicious. The sound system was wonderful. Various staff located throughout to help assist with direction to our seats. All the way around great experience. This view was from Section 105, Row 10, Seat 9

Weirdly I've been to the T-Mobile Center (formerly the Sprint Center) twice over the past few months, (once for Disney on Ice, and once for a comedy show) so it seems fitting to write a review at this point. Let's talk about what works here first: * For being such a massive venue, it tends to be really clean. Remembering Kemper area from my childhood, and having attended concerts all over the place, I can say that having clean restrooms, and in general, clean public spaces goes a long way for me at these kinds of places. * They have people literally EVERYWHERE which is great if you get lost, need to get directions to the restroom, or need help finding your seat. * They move you through ticketing pretty fast. I will say, when I came here for Lizzo there was a long line that I stood in even though we arrived at least 30 minutes into the opener. It moved really fast though, I think we were inside within about 10 minutes. * They position merch and refreshment stands all over the place, on all levels, which is great so there are fewer bottlenecks and long lines. Usually the main merch stand is right when you get in though, so that one can and will likely have a line, though it's typically fairly quick moving. * The sound and visual effects tend to check out at just about any seat in the house (I've sat on the floor and way up in the rafters) What could be improved: * The seats way up high are a bit nausea inducing for me. It's literally so steep that for a person like me that has a fear of heights, I had to take some deep breaths to ground myself. Knowing this now, I probably won't ever book a seat up there again, which is a shame given that for some shows I don't mind being up high, but I prefer to feel a bit more safe. * Parking is terrible. Just straight up terrible. Why they don't have their own dedicated lot is beyond me. I'd pay for expensive parking if it was attached and I knew there would be a space. Usually I can find cheap or free parking around, but it's pretty stressful and you never know what you're going to get yourself into. * Like nearly all concert venues these days the food and drink is EXPENSIVE. So, just keep that in mind.

Love a concert night at the T-Mobile Center. We've always had great experiences from security/entry to seats, food, drinks and sound. (Granted we usually save our money on the food and drinks front!) Grateful to have an arena of this size in our Downtown. This year we saw Trans-Siberian Orchestra - the lights and special effects were out of this world. Can't wait for my next visit to the T-Mobile Center.

I really loved this venue for a concert! It is so modern and clean which I loved. They are moving towards more and more self serve stations for things like canned seltzers and beer, and popcorn and pretzels. However if you want a mixed drink or don't want to go to a self serve station, they have a pretty big bar and more beer options there too. They didn't have bud light at the self serve stations but had it at the bar. Bartenders were friendly. Prices are high but that is a given at any concert/game. Would definitely come back!

Great venue! I've seen college BB, to many concerts to name, and the Ringling Bros circus there. The only issue is some people have an issue w/ steep seating in the nose bleeds

T-Mobile Center, formerly Sprint Center, is a very well designed venue that has great concert sound where there is not a bad seat in the house. Seating is easy to access, with food and drink vendors and bathrooms in the immediate area. From the box seats to the floor, friendly staff and ample security will make your outing enjoyable and safe.

This arena has been a great host for the Big 12 Basketball tournament for many years! Don't forget to check out the College Basketball Experience next door too!

What time do the doors usually open before a basketball game?

I know that on Friday during the College Elte 8 game the doors opened 90 minutes before the game : )

Where is the most reasonable hotel to stay within walking distance?

Reasonable is in the eye of the beholder, but there are some good hotels close. Among them are a Holiday Inn Express, the Ambassador, the Hilton President, the Crown Plaza and then another Holiday Inn. There are also more hotels within a quick… Read more

Where would the best seats be (viewing/sound-wise) without having to buy floor seats? Thanks!

Truthfully, it depends on the set up of the concert. I've sat everywhere but my least favorite was those overlooking the stage to the side because your view is partially blocked. Just look at the map and know they have great sound in the arena.

Even walking in, we weren't quite sure what to expect. The entrance is small, and you're greeted right away, which was a nice touch. Once inside, it's very dark with deep red lighting--almost like stepping into a cave. It took a moment for our eyes to adjust, but once they did, we immediately felt at ease. The space is cozy and perfectly aligned with its purpose: it's all about the jazz. The service was great--welcoming, attentive, and added to the overall experience without taking away from the music. And the music? Absolutely captivating. It pulls you in and transports you--you can't help but settle into the vibe and just enjoy the moment together. We went on a Monday, so there was plenty of seating, but I noticed there's also a lower level that likely accommodates larger weekend crowds. There's a solid drink menu and a small selection of food, but honestly, this isn't the place you come for a full meal. Come for the drinks, stay for the music, and soak in the atmosphere.

Quinn XCII Concert Sponsored by Fresh Karma…read more This was truly an awful and saddening experience. It was not communicated prior that there would be opening acts and Quinn XCII would not be performing until 3 and a half hours later after the doors opened. Especially on a hot summer day I am appalled by the Fresh Karma staff and communication. While we were waiting for 3+ hours for Quinn XCII to preform, the girl next to us proceeded to pass out and then start aggressively vomit. We are in the middle of the crowd. We proceeded to get help and alert the Fresh Karma staff. We seemed to interrupt and annoy them as they were busy smoking and passing joints when we sought medical assistance. 10 minutes later, a staff member proceeded to come after we had already gotten her water and fanning her from heat exhaustion (I'm sure she had been drinking too). After your staff escorted the lady out, no one from your staff cleaned up the excessive vomit in the middle of the venue. So, my friends and I proceeded to wait another couple hours with the vomit cooking in the heat for Quinn XCII. I have seen Quinn XCII before and his performance and timeliness was nothing close to this awful evening/night. I know I am sharing a quite angry experience, but I hope this feedback gets to the right people for improvement.

Recently, I went to the Knuckleheads Garage to see the Texas Headhunters, which is a newer band featuring my favorite guitar player and singer Ian Moore. They had a great opening act that was a local band from Kansas City. I liked that the drinks were affordable and super cold. I got a tall Quirk for $8. Beers were similarly priced.
