We were in town for the weekend and decided to give this place a try. It was a good decision. We got a room on the 6th floor with a nice view. The bed and room were both very comfortable. The shower had great water pressure. The lobby is nicely decorated and free breakfast is included. The 8th floor/rooftop has a bar and huge banquet room for events. There are plenty of restaurants on Broad street within walking distance.

I enjoyed my one night stay here. I had free street parking and my bed was extremely comfortable. My room was large, comfy and was inviting. I will say that the walls were thin so I could hear a lot of people. The rooftop bar was closed but they did have a bar on the bottom floor. The breakfast was Leon Ali one of the best hotel breakfasts I ever had. The smoked salmon section was delicious.

1:00 am Saturday - lots of people going to the nightclub across the street

Thanksgiving week 2021 - Hotel is operating on COVID Protocols Front door is kept locked due to COVID, not a bad neighborhood they say. Me did encounter same agressive panhandlers. If you keep walking I don't think you'll be bothered. When we were standing and talking is when a panhandler came up and started tapping my adult son's sholder and asked for money. About the front door- Some staff open it remotely whe others wait for you to press the call button or use your key card. Seemed inconvenient. Some employees wear masks, but not all. A maintenance person joins my elevator as the 4th person and he was unmasked. Some wear a mask, but improperly. Overall COVID protocols were inconsistent. They were followed with not changing out sheets or towles. The street parking in front of the hotel is free, 24/7, and the hotel offers covered parking for an additional $7.00/day. Had a suite with a kitchenette. The most noticeable issue with the kitchen was that our feet stuck to the floor. We let them know that was unacceptable at 8:00 am and it was removed between Noon and 4pm while we were away. Some of the cups and dishes were cracked or chipped. Housekeeping fixed all that once they got the message from the front desk. Plan ahead / don't expect any immediatly. Tues - Thursday was quiet at night, but Friday the nightclub across the street (The Scene Nightclub) attracted drivers with especially loud exhaust. It wasn't just arriving there. Most of the night they went up and down Broad St. From the 8th floor it was a problem. I imagine lower floors were noisier but we were on the front of the building overlooking the street, so the side or back might be fine. Consider this if you're here on a weekend. Master bedroom has a door into shared bathroom a second door opens to the sitting area. MBR has a full length mirror inside closet door. 2nd BR had no mirror at all. Toilet and shower have a door which separates it from the double basin sink. None of the bathroom doors have working locks. Overall it's a nice hotel. The breakfast was decent. They seem short handed. What they lack in getting things right the first time, they try to make up for with effusive (obsequious) apologies. For me that was a big turnoff.

Ambience. A Service. A Food. B Price. A What a great downtown view from the bar on the 8th floor. Concierge and bartender were friendly and greeting promptly. The modern city hotel and bar are quite lovely. My only con is not enough options for high end wines or beer...that's too bad. I had a glass of rose...enjoyed my view until sunset and moved on to other downtown swanky mod vibes!! When it's hard to find parking on Broad during lunch or nighttime life...I have hopes downtown augusta charm is coming back! Downtown augusta is definitely coming back!

I enjoyed my stay here. The room was spacious and the bathroom was very large. Consistent with the Hyatt House brand. The fitness room was very nice as well. Staff: Extremely friendly and helpful 5 stars Food: Great selection, variety, and fresh 4 stars Location: Close to many things downtown 4 stars The hotel was new so there were some noticeable growing pains in the parking deck but I would definitely stay here again.

Rooftop vibes! Came to the Hyatt Rooftop on a Friday evening after dinner for a drink and the view was pretty nice. The bar staff was pretty decent, but not the most friendly. I ordered a mixed cocktail with vodka and pineapple juice which was pretty good and my boyfriend ordered a glass of tequila. The vibe was pretty simple, not too many people on the rooftop and you can tell they don't clean up after guests too often but overall was a decent vibe. Might try it again.

The rooftop bar has great views of downtown Augusta as well as SRP Park in North Augusta. The drink was delicious, the weather was perfect, and it was a perfect view for the fireworks after the Greenjackets game. I had a mule and my husband had a gin and tonic. High price for our area, but typical for a hotel bar. Not sure why they close so early though. Disappointed that last call was at 945pm and they closed at 10pm. It was a Sunday night though.

Great place. The staff is extremely focused and dedicated to pleasing the customer. There is one problem though and it's not with Hyatt or the lovely staff. It's the location. Meaning Augusta. This hole in the wall town is infested with with the most negative and discriminating people I've ever met across the lower 48. I've been from coast to coast in my travels and I never want to come back to this area.

The valet folks were friendly, everybody smiled, and for a moment I thought we might have stumbled onto one of those places where Southern hospitality still gets practiced instead of just printed on brochures. The inn itself has that old-school charm. The front porch alone looks like it has stories to tell, and most of them are probably better than the ones you'll hear at the average chain hotel breakfast buffet. The room was nice enough, though getting to it felt a little like a low-impact obstacle course. After stepping off the elevator, there were three steps to negotiate before reaching the room. No big deal. I shuffled the luggage and carried on. Then I discovered the room itself was split-level, complete with three more steps. That arrangement seemed perfectly reasonable until the 3 a.m. trip to the bathroom, when those same steps suddenly became an adventure sport. One suggestion: every room ought to have a proper nightstand and a place to charge the electronic gadgets that have become attached to modern Americans like an extra limb. We may not all travel with a typewriter anymore, but most of us carry enough electronics to launch a small satellite. Things got a little more interesting when hunger arrived. We tried to make restaurant reservations through the Resy link on the hotel's website. No luck. The restaurant wasn't listed. Fine. Technology fails. It happens. So I called the restaurant. No answer. Turns out the restaurant number appears to be the same as the front desk. I left a message and waited about 45 minutes for a callback. Never got one. Again, no big deal. DoorDash and an Indian restaurant came to the rescue. While pondering the mystery of the missing callback, I found myself staring out the window. That's when I noticed the paint splatters and streaks all over the glass. Now, I don't know who handles maintenance around there, but somebody needs to explain that painting a window and cleaning a window are two entirely different activities. And that's really the story of the Partridge Inn. Nice people. Pleasant room. Plenty of charm. But charm can only carry you so far when attention to detail keeps missing the bus. The little things matter because they add up. The unanswered phone, the broken reservation link, the paint on the windows, the awkward room layout--they're all small by themselves. Together, they're enough to make me appreciate the stay but probably not enough to make me come back for another one.

The okay: *Breakfast was your typical included hot hotel breakfast. Nothing spectacular but does its job. The bad: The windows lack a way to block out sunlight during the day. It had a pull down translucent white shade and a heavier, opaque pull down shade. The issue is way too much light bleeds in around the edges. It just "gives" a little, if that makes sense. While I'm not rating as good or bad, but there were some weird pieces of wood in the corner by the door that seemed like a contractor didn't clean up and neither did anyone else (pic provided).

I actually called the front desk to advise them that I was making a late reservation but was fully intending to come. At NO time did she indicate they were under construction. I arrived at about 0200 and found that the entire lobby was a construction zone. Significantly, I am handicap. They were in the middle of renovating and it was litterally treacherous. I spoke to the front desk clerk (really the night auditor) and she offered to cancel my reservation so I could go elsewhere but I was a ZOMBIE and she assured me the floor in which she was assigning me (3rd floor) was newly renovated. I took the room. The floor/room was fine. The air quality and rest of the hotel was a construction nightmare. Dust, dangerous walking paths and by the time I woke up, I was having a hard time breathing and need to use my inhaler for the first time in almost 1 year. I am NOT a Karen. I used Marriott Bonvoy points (19k if I recall correctly) and was very disappointed with my stay. I wrote in to ask for a replenishment of my points at Bonvoy Customer Service and fully expected to be replenished. Shockingly, the hotel's response was that I was advised of the construction and basically flipped me the bird with a Caveat Emptor and refused to return my points. Suffice to say, I was pissed. I escalated the issue with Marriott Bonvoy and as one would expect from an awards program like Marriott, they immediately replenished my points. In the meantime, beware of this property. It is a franchise location and the owners seemingly lack the commitment to excellence and top customer service one usually associates with Marriott properties. Everyone I encountered while I was on property was kind, professional and highly apologetic. They had apparently been forced to master that behavior. Now that construction is done, I wanted to share this story and make sure that my Bonvoy colleagues realize that leopards never change there spots and that, if requiring accomodations in the Augusta airport area, give careful consideration about choosing another Marriott property.
