I didn't expect to stay at four different hotels on my recent weeklong trip to Pittsburgh. It just happened due to various weather conditions and logistical considerations. I stayed here one night because I thought the trendy Bloomfield neighborhood would provide a nice change-of-pace from the more established downtown area. I was also planning to drive to upstate New York and thought this would be a convenient location for a faster getaway. Well, a sudden winter snowstorm forced me to cancel the side trip to New York, and I ended up spending very little time exploring Bloomfield because I took a long nap in my room after a sleepless night in the previous hotel. Even though it was bordering on pointless to shift to this hotel, I still enjoyed the studio I reserved for $152. There was a comfortable king bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a corner sofa, and a 360-degree swivel flatscreen TV. It was a lot of amenities I didn't need, but hey, it was freezing cold, so the apartment set-up made it feel cozy. One other advantage was a sizable lot to park my rental SUV. Even though they offered a happy hour and continental breakfast, I skipped both. Instead I braved the cold and just strolled on Baum to find a decent greasy spoon for dinner and a quiet gay bar for a drink. Not a bad stay, and I'd consider a return to explore Bloomfield. I recently had an overnight stay at Hyatt House with my daughter. I was overall very happy with my stay. Positives: Room was very clean and spacious. The lobby area was really pretty and so much larger than it appears from outside. Free breakfast! The pool was nice and heated. We had it to ourselves both times we went in it during our stay. The hotel is located is a great area. Cons: It seems like the furniture was poor quality. Multiple times during the stay there was a panel that kept falling off the table in the kitchen area. The parking is pricey. I absolutely hate paying for parking. I wish this came with the hotel stay as it was also already priced on the higher end. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. I would probably pick a day that didn't fall on a holiday weekend for a less expensive stay. read more

Stayed 2 nights for a business trip. The decor of the hotel is much nicer than competitors at the same price range. The room is very clean and has all the utilities needed such as hair dryer, microwave, iron and iron board. The shower is quite nice and the water pressure and temperature was perfect. The bed is very comfortable, I just wish the pillows were king sizes and not standard sizes. The coffee for breakfast is good but the buffet can be better. I just opted for cereals and milk and some yogurt. Checking in and out was a breeze. Wifi was great and did not drop connection. All hotel staffs were courteous. I will definitely return if back in the area. read more

The decor and layout of the hotel was a little more grandiouse than most . I think that had a lot to do with this location being fairly new as well as trying to match the overall upscaledness of the area. As far as the room my only complaint was there was a vent that needed to be dusted .that was plain disgusting. No way should vent have been that dirty and this is a new hotel. Also my room was not ready when I arrived. They sent me the option to ask for the room to be ready earlier than the normal check in time. I selected an earlier check in time ,yet my room was not available when I got there nor did I receive an email to say that it wouldn't be ready on time. These two things keep me from giving this location higher than a 3. This location is close to a lot of things such as Target ,trader Joe's, and many restaurants. There's also a nice little park across the street. The parking at this location is $20 daily ( at the time of this writing). read more

It was decent. The budget rooms aren't your typical Hyatt their like a standard hotel room. I upgraded to a suite for $15 more. The tv (pictured) swiveled all the away around either in the direction of the couch/living room or the bedroom which was pretty cool. Good breakfast but the dining & bar was closed the two nights I was there. They had excuses. You're about 10 minutes from the main highway which was kind of a pain but probably better than downtown. Pleasantly surprised with our stay here. Clean rooms, incredibly pleasant staff and a convenient location make this a great option for visitors to the Pittsburgh area. Located about a mile from both Pitt and CMU, its in a great spot. Our room was clean and everything looked newly renovated and in great condition. There was a full size fridge and small kitchen in our suite as well. The staff here is wonderful - friendly, patient and incredibly helpful. They responded to all our requests quickly and courteously. A hidden bonus was the free breakfast buffet - while not Michelin star level, it was fresh, had lots of choices and was far better than any other complimentary breakfast I've had in other hotels. Really enjoyed our stay here, will most definitely come back if I'm ever in the Pittsburgh area again. read more

We are Gold Members and we were not treated that way. We have been here about six times in the past six years but something has changed. Apparently we are being informed via Corporate that we haven't been staying at the Hyatt enough to retain our Gold membership status and we no longer qualify for free parking and we can only use 1/2 points and have payment. Pure greed... When I go in the shower I was overwhelmed with the stench of mildew in room #305. It was literally everywhere as you can see in the photos. So the room attendant did not clean the shower at all. Yuck. Also there a few long hairs and a dead fly on the window seal, which makes me believe that she did not clean and/or inspect the room properly. Also from being in the Hotel industry for four year in the 90's, it is always standard that the Supervisor performs room inspections to ensure everything is done correctly. I guess that has changed over time as well. The breakfast buffet was reasonable but the coffee was extremely weak and watery. We are done with this place. read more

Ugh, this was very close to a perfect stay. The Hyatt House has a solid location as you're a quick drive to Shadyside, Carnegie and many other Pittsburgh sites. The hotel is modern and welcoming, with an elegant lobby and rooms. Our room was comfortable but there was some dust and hair in the nooks and crannies. The Hyatt House offers an above average full breakfast, with multiple hot options and premium products like Chobani yogurt. I gave only 2 stars because they are not doing daily housekeeping... in September 2023. Unacceptable for a full service, full price hotel. read more

The good: * The rooms are clean, fairly spacious, and fairly new. * On prem clothes washer (coin operated/app) * The front desk workers were all very friendly and helpful. * Convenient location, short distance to a big supermarket and multiple coffeeshops. The less good: * TV is a little on the small side. I didn't use it at all. * Cost-wise, I'd say it is worth it if you are bringing some kitchen supplies and cooking using the little kitchenette, but otherwise, it is a little steep. I didn't get to visit the pool or the gym so I can't comment on them. Ultimately this is probably a spot you'll want to spend more time at if you book it, and I was out and about more. Great hotel so far. The rooms are very big and having high end looking finishes. I travel for work and this is probably one of the nicest hotels I've been to. I've been here for almost a week and I'm very happy. I have a king room and there is a comfy L Couch, a tall countertop with two chairs perfect for working, a spacious bathroom with huge stand up shower and a small kitchen with two stove tops dishwasher, small fridge and cooking equipment. The television can be rotated so you can watch it in bed or in the living room. The gym is nice and big. The equipment all works which is so rare at hotels now days. They have a big selection for complimentary breakfast and coffee. I believe they offer food at the bar but I have not purchased any since there are plenty of good choices within walking distance not to mention a Dunkin' Donuts right across the street. read more

I checked in. I asked for housekeeping each day if my 3 day very expensive stay. Despite this, I have yet to see any housekeeping happen. I have now called 2 times this afternoon as well as discussed this at check in yesterday. The housekeeping supervisor just showed up and claims the person who checked me in last night does not remember our conversation and neither does the front desk person recall me calling twice now. Unfuckingbelievable. Now I've wasted half the afternoon here in my room. This is not an isolated incident it's epidemic all over the US. How hard is it to get some fresh towels? read more

Fantastic service! I traveled from across the country to do a last minute event and worked with Erica. She was extremely responsive - even with the time difference. She was efficient and effective. The event turned out great! Not many places can pull together an event within a weeks time. The cost was extremely reasonable and they were flexible with any last minute changes (considering the whole event was last minute) that needed to be made. I highly recommend utilizing them for any events. The only piece of feedback (because you can't write honest feedback without at least one thing of feedback) is to have more preferred catering options. They do have an option to do in house and that actually could probably be a fantastic option. We utilized their preferred caterers, JPC, which were fantastic, we just had some hiccups with communication since they're only in office Tues-Thurs, which is super limited especially with a week turn around. Erica was extremely helpful when we crossed that stress of needing caterers last minute, but more options would be SUPER helpful. The hotel itself was great as well. The staff was friendly, the parking was easy, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the gym was spacious, the location was great. Thank you thank you! read more

We were recently guests at a wedding held in Squirrel Hill, which is about 6-9 minutes away, making this the perfect location for all of us guests. The front desk staff is very friendly, offering a hello and goodbye whenever we arrived/left, free shuttle is an incredible perk offering rides to so many destinations, WiFi did not work in the room for the first day, but was usable in the lobby, rooms are adequate size, showers are wedding party huge, lots of closet space, a very nicely sized kitchen with cooking utensils, plates, etc in cabinets, and our biggest issue was the street noise from below, no matter what floor guests were on (not as bad on Baum Blvd though). Breakfast is more than adequate although the fact that there were a good number of not fully-cleaned knives was a turn-off. There is a nice sized pool and a gym with about 5 pieces of equipment, plus a firepit outside the front entrance. read more

We were charged $20 parking each of our three days, despite not having a car. Our room (523) had a neat view of the old church, but it needs some attention to the details in maintenance. Its age is showing. The shower is unsafe when soap is going down the drain - way too slippery. The floor tile needs to be changed to have texture so someone doesn't kill themselves. The hotel elevators are horrific...the carpet is BEYOND disgusting and a horrible first impression before heading to your room... embarrassing! Not enough staff when checking out, so had to leave before checking out which sucked because I wanted to deal with the parking charge in person. But, no big deal....They reversed my parking without issue with a phone call. The bar hours are very limited and the bartender was unhelpful in suggestions around town. We liked that breakfast was included and variety was ok, but omelets were SLOW and the bacon was the thinnest shards of plastic I've ever seen in my life. No room upgrade and no special recognition of my brother's 50th birthday all three nights despite me being Explorist Hyatt level and calling ahead to have it notated. Ran out of water on second day, so no Explorist perk there, either. Location....eh. Ubers seemed to be fairly expensive compared to San Diego and there's not much to walk to. Don't take anyone here you want to impress, but if the points are cheap to book (8000/night), it may be worth it...maybe. read more

Crisp and spacious room with a quality breakfast. I stayed here one night while I was in town for a rugby tournament. We had a single room suite with a Queen sized bed and a large bathroom. Overall the room was pristine. Everything was very clean and crisp. The bed was comfortable and cozy. I also liked the extended chair/chaise lounge that was included. The bathroom was brightly lit and spacious. The shower was large as well but poorly designed. The floor of the shower was actually raised up from the floor of the rest of the bathroom. Combined with a powerful and large shower head, we got water everywhere during our showers. The breakfast the next morning was decent. They had homefries, scrambled eggs, sausages, make-your-own waffles, fruits, breads, and the like. There was plenty of seating downstairs and in various styles (two-seated tables, bar tables, etc.). The service was very friendly. The place had an overall clean and new look. My boyfriend thought it might actually be a new branch. I only wish it were in a different location. Coming from out of town, it was a bit awkward getting into their parking lot (which you also have to pay to park in). They basically built this in a very small corner of several streets. The inside makes up for it at least. If I ever return to Pittsburgh, I would definitely consider staying here again. read more

I stayed at this hotel for a week while quarantining after coming in from out of state . The room was clean, the kitchen studio was perfect for an extended stay, and the staff was great. The room was laid out really well and was quite comfortable. Also, it seemed clear the housekeepers and staff all took covid precautions seriously. I found the bed to be extremely comfortable too. I was so glad this hotel worked out due to how long I stayed and how much time I spent in the room. Never coming back- not worth the price paid. What hotel doesnt have room service? I chose this hotel based off of convenience of location. Room: 1 King 530 Sq Ft Pros: - Front desk service wonderful, polite, quick - Room is very clean (big plus), spacious - Room has many amenities: grater, toaster, very basic coffee maker, microwave, stove, pots/utensils/plates, washer, fridge - Living room area is comfortable, sofa is relaxing - Foyer area is large and spacious (but waste of space in my opinion) - LOVE that there are plugs on the island counter. No annoyance of finding a wall plug or worrying about tripping over cords. Cons: [are all food related] - No minibar (snacks, drinks) in the room - No room service. What kind of hotel doesnt have room service? - Food only available from 5-10pm which you have to go downstairs yourself to get it and have it packed to your room. We stayed at several Hyatt properties over the Thanksgiving holiday and this was one of the favorites. Hyatt Houses are in general, a great choice for families as most rooms have a kitchenette, separate living room area, pools and hot breakfast included. But they aren't all created equal. Starting with check in, the front desk staff is fantastic - they listen and really make best efforts to accommodate your requests and ensure a great stay - we appreciated this. Aesthetically, this Hyatt House is the nicest I've stayed in - the lobby area is large, spotless and sleekly designed. The rooms are well appointed, although if your neighbors are loud, you will hear them. Our room facing the parking lot (not Baum Blvd) was quiet. The pool / fitness area are clean and well equipped. Breakfast was very well done - the custom omelet bar is a great bet and takeout boxes are available on request. The staff really stood out to me as being friendly, wanting to help, and very eager to clear and keep things clean and flowing. Impressive. My only complaint about this property is the parking situation. $15/day for self parking in this semi suburban area seems excessive. That said, paid parking appears to be the norm among Pittsburgh area hotels. Note: The entrance to this hotel is actually off S. Atlantic Ave, not Baum Blvd. read more

Great place to stay near UPMC. Big rooms with kitchen area with small stove, under countertop fridge and dishwasher. There is an ALDI a short walk away and a very good breakfast buffet with scrambled egg and juices and English muffins and bagels and sausage. Coffee until 11 AM. The place is a 5-7 minute walk to the medical office and that's attached to the hospital. Parking is self done and staff is helpful. read more

Not normally a Hyatter (normally stay at the Marriott Courtyard across the street), but stayed here since the rest of the group I was with did. I am glad I gave it a go. The room was very spacious with even a nice size couch in there. It was European like since you had to put your key in the vertical slot (versus horizontal) under the light switch as you enter In order to get the light switches to work. The weird thing is the person who checked me in didn't say anything about this. After walking in the dark room to manually turn in the lamp on the table I investigated further and figured it out on my own. I texted my colleague who was arriving later about it but unfortunately I didn't give him enough details. He was literally expecting the European one that juts out of the wall and missed the vertical slot. So he had to do the same thing and manually turn on the lamp on the desk ( which is on he other side if the room by the way). Not sure if this is just part if their welcoming process (since they didn't tell you) or if this is what future hotels here in America will have too. Parking was $20 a day in their arm controlled lot. Unfortunately my key did not open it the first time like it should have and I had to get new keys so in the future it would. So I had a few difficulties right from the start. A breakfast was included with my stay and the cute made to order omlettes are a nice option. In addition to that, it was a full breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, bacon, pastries, fruit, drinks, oatmeal, french toast, etc. They had lots of seating options too (high table community seating, regular tables, etc). The room is very nice, but the service is some of the worst I have ever experienced. There is a person watching the halls for noise, and made us take signs off of the door (which distinguished a hockey tournament team of 10 year olds) because it would hurt the wood doors, although the doors are fake wood. Ironically, hanging signs on the door is not allowed, but smoking marijuana is fine, as the second night into the trip the entire 2nd floor smelled of this illegal substance. When approaching the front desk, the told us nothing could be done. We could only assume this was because the staff was more concerned with removing innocuous signs from the doors instead of handling illicit drug activity. I went to the front desk and asked for water, which I was strictly reminded that water is only "available for purchase". After paying for a hotel room, I'm glad I have to purchase water, which is usually free at a Motel 8. The final tipping point is the fact that I called the service desk for 6 hours, which it was always busy. When bringing thing up to the front desk, I was told "well we're busy but probably not that busy hahaha", and then was asked, sarcastically, if we would like someone to look at the phone. Bottom line, it's a nice room, but if you want a hitler type of regime with abysmal service, then this place is for you. If else, I would look elsewhere. If I could give 0 stars, I would. read more

Excellent accommodations and facility a few miles down from Carnegie Mellon U. While normally not a Hyatt customer, this was hotel had availability at reasonable rate. Although they charged $20 daily self-parking, it was acceptable in that my car was in gated and fenced area for security. Don't get me wrong, the area was not a 'bad' area, just older established neighborhoods. This hotel is fully updated (looks so new and modern decor). ROOM: mini luxury apartment! Clean and sleek modern designs. It was the four of us this weekend and after riding six long hours in a car, we were welcomed by a nice size lounge area in our room and a full kitchen! Full fridge, stove, microwave/convection oven (so nice!), counter with bar height work chair, dishwasher and even garbage disposal in sink. It was really an apartment! Our bedroom was separate and was incredibly airy with the most comfortable queen beds! Plenty of pillows, two tv's (one in bedroom and one in living room area). Daughter opted for the cool pullout lounge bed instead of sharing my bed (no argument there). The pull out couch though was not supportive IMO even though DD didn't complain. AMENITIES: full breakfast was included including omelette bar which always had a line. Other people stated they were delicious. I didn't partake so can't comment. The food area was so roomy and had all your basic eggs, breads, pancakes and juices etc. many people at the hotel eating breakfast but I never felt crowded. Ample table and casual seating with tv's strewn about for a relaxing morning. Beautiful big walls of glass to let all that light in. Just perfect. MISC: nice pool (didn't use) and roomy fitness room. Had conference rooms avail. For $157/nite not including the $20 parking, I think pricing spot on for what we got. Incredible experience. Bar avail with food menu up to 10p. Ive stayed at this hotel many times. Every visit the staff is inviting and friendly but ever changing. The hotel also shows sign of wear and tear. The linens looks very worn and the common areas are not kept clean; sticky garbage cans, lint and crumb filled hallways and terribly stained elevator carpets. I feel like the team cannot handle the daily upkeep required of a hotel. I don't believe they sanitize the in room sofas or carpets either. So if cleanliness is your thing I don't recommend it. read more

This could become our go-to hotel on our frequent trips to Pittsburgh. I was unfamiliar with the Hyatt sub-brand but Hyatt House is an extended stay hotel similar to Residence by Marriott. The hotel is a bit of a distance from the universities and downtown, but Pittsburgh isn't that big and it doesn't take long to drive to center city. It was a good value considering that we had a large suite with full kitchen at a price other more central hotel chains would charge for a room. One highlight was the included breakfast which every day features made to order omelettes, which were delicious, along with the Hyatt breakfast which I think is better than that of competing chains. Also a happy surprise: free copies of the Wall Street Journal and the Sunday New York Times. Parking was $20. read more

Do not stay here if you are looking for a good hotel. I travel for work a lot and it was my misfortune to stay at this dump for one night. Beds are terrible, sheets old, carpets are old and dated. Food is awful. Customer service is a foreign concept to the staff and management. If you plan on checking out earlier than your reservation plan on getting charged for the entire stay of the reservation unless you notify them 48 hours in advance. Which was impossible in my case since I only made a reservation for two nights and didn't know how crappy they were until I stayed one night. Ignore my review at your own peril. read more

The first was a corner king suite which was beyond spacious and very comfortably appointed. The second was a dual-queen suite, which was akin to a large-ish one-bedroom apartment in NYC, replete with a living room entirely separate from the bedroom, two TVs (one in the bedroom and one in the living room), and a nice kitchen with an island counter. Very clean. No signs of damage or wear. Lobby was a great place to do work and served an A-OK breakfast until 10. Late checkout request was accepted without question. Great, central location. My husband and I stayed here for a night, as a small getaway without the kids. The Pros: The room was big enough and the bed was incredibly soft and comfy, but not for people who like firm mattresses. The shower was very big, plenty of room for two people. The hotel has a 2-shade system in the window. You can use a privacy shade that lets light in, but can't be seen through clearly, and a blackout shade. You can use them separately or together. They have a nice breakfast available in the morning, which is included with your stay. They offer an omelet station, in addition to typical breakfast items (hot and cold cereal, potatoes, sausage, scrambled eggs, and fruit...) There is a bar that has a few small plate items available. The rooms offer a small refrigerator, a small coffee maker, and a full-sized microwave. A decent-sized flat screen tv was in the room. All of the staff we encountered was very friendly. The Cons: The shower head was covered in lime-scale, so much so that the water would not flow correctly. The bathroom door was a sliding door. Trendy, yes, but not practical. You couldn't really close it tightly, and there was no lock. The omelet station had one chef, and two burners. While it smelled good, there was a long line each time we attempted to get one. The bar is in the hotel lobby. There are tables throughout, some separated by half-walls. I can see it being very noisy, if people were having one too many. The refrigerator was kept out of sight in a lower cabinet. There was no light in it, and even with the room lights on, it was dim inside. It also opened opposite of the cabinet itself, so it was hard to maneuver the room if someone had it open. We asked for cutlery on our way up to the room with some leftovers from dinner. We were told there was some in the room, but there wasn't any. We had 5 packs of coffee stirrers though, which were made into chopsticks. The deadbolt featured on the room door did not work. My husband and I both tried multiple times, and couldn't get it to work. The remote was sticky and greasy when we picked it up the for first time. All in all, I would stay here again. The stay was pleasant enough that the pros outweighed the cons. read more

Do not stay here. Asked for a quiet room and got put on the third floor facing Baum. The place is made out of paper - you hear the cars driving by, the people next door, the people above, anyone in the hallway... The windows are not sealed: we woke up to the windows and window ledge pooled with water and ice on the inside. There was no safe in the room, no clean room each day until after 330 in the afternoon, $20 a day to park!! No information about ways to get to airport other than $70 car service. Just all around bad, bad place. read more

We booked a suite here months ago for a bachelorette party. The confirmation clearly states that check-in is 3:00. As of 4:30 we are still waiting for our room, which means that we need to cancel our dinner reservations and are unable to find another restaurant to accommodate us due to the furry convention. All of that would be bad enough, but the hostess Melissa was so incredibly rude to us. At no point were we difficult or argumentative- we were simply trying to identify a plan B so we knew how to proceed with our plans for the evening. She was rolling her eyes and raising her voice at us, telling us she would "try" to "accommodate our requests"... We had no requests, other than the fulfillment of the reservation we made months ago! If nothing else, we needed direction on how to anticipate the rest of the evening. Never have I ever been treated so rudely by someone in the service industry. (Update at bottom) (ASTHMA PEOPLE BEWARE AND TAKE NOTE) Sigh. I looooooove Hyatt house. I really do. Why 3 stars then?? Read on.... We come in from Indiana every other month and stay in the south side Hyatt house. Last time and this time however, they were charging an INSANE amount for a 1 bdrm ($249 + daily parking) so we stayed here instead. Last time we stayed at shady side inn and suites. This time wanting the same but they were booked. My normal stomping ground of South side Hyatt house was booked too, so they told us about this one here in shady side ((5 min from west penn hospital and upmc) This one had A 1bdrm with 2 queen beds for $179+ $15 daily parking). Eek! Cheap and new how exciting! Only difference they seemed to have was that this location has: ***NO VALET LIKE SOUTHSIDE WHICH I LIKE. GATED DEDICATED PARKING LOT INSTEAD Figured we'd try it. excited we'd found a cheaper and better! Very new. Opened this past June 2015. Decorator did amazing job. Carpet in halls smells new. Nice people at front desk. Same amenities as southside with full kitchen etc. (In 1bdrm) Walking distance to Aldis, panera, and string of restaurants. Whole foods and district market a mile or so down road. Why three stars?.... Stayed in room 308. Noticed a nice outdoor fire pit directly below our room on ground level for visitors to enjoy. And oh how the smokers of the Hyatt house loved on that spot! Puff puff puff!! Thought nothing of it....until that night I smelled faint and constant cigarette smell in our bdrm. It woke me all night. Being a non smoker with two little boys and a very delicate "sniffer" I was annoyed. My parents used to smoke and that smell turns my stomach as many non smokers agree. Spoke to staff figuring it was pulled in from "the smokers pit" outside via the vents. They of course, very surprised, stated smoke could "never be pulled in to the heating duct to room" and "your the first to complain"....uh. Riiiiight! Front staff was however,VERY accommodating. Said could bring air purifier to room or switch rooms. With 90 rooms to clean that day they busted their butts to get us a new room! Awesome!! So we got Moved to 302 on other side of building facing back lot (instead of front lot) Yum smelled great UNTIL the heat came on. You've. Got. To. Be. Kidding.!!!!!! Apparently same ductwork for the whole floor?. Who in the hell thought to put a smokers pit where it can be pulled in to the rooms heating and cooling vents? And Why the hell wasn't I bright enough to ask to be placed on a higher floor is BEYOND ME. So tonight we sleep in our constant ashtray smelling room for $200 a night. All the while thinking of the potential clean air at the $69 a night hotel down the road every time the heat would kick on. We turned temp down but then ac kicks on with same problem. Turned hvac off and room got freezing. Grrrrr. Slept in a cold room next few nights with heat off Bc I didn't want the constant noise of a loud air purifier. Honestly I would've rathered a discount or something. Hyatt I will be returning to you and fork over my inheritance to stay there time and again so I don't have this issue--but not This location. I will stay at my tried and true south side location where I don't have this issue. Just a tip-u might want to consider moving the smokers to a different area or putting charcoal filters in the hvac in order to avoid losing customers! I'm glad they take the time to read these reviews and comment. Wish they rectified things to keep customers. A hotel is only as good as the rooms and service provided....Move the smokers. Generally nice hotel, but gets some of the basics wrong. Pros: Hotel was very modern, nice looking especially on the outside. Solid breakfast w/ omelette bar New rooms, modern styling, free wifi Cons: Paper thin walls, paper thin doors. You can basically hear everything going on in the hotel, and especially the hallway. Even relatively quiet sounds like people walking down the hallway you can hear with the door closed. Chemical cleaning smell - whatever products they're using to clean the room and hallways is VERY strong and leaves a bad odor in the room and hall. Enough to make it unpleasant while staying there. I'd give this 3 stars if it weren't for the chemical smell, but between that and the thin walls, this place looks nice but gets the basics of a hotel wrong sadly. read more
