We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Regency Anaheim. The rooms are a bit outdated and could use a better deep cleaning, as ours felt a little dusty. That said, the hotel is very convenient and a great option for families traveling with pets. The bunk beds were perfect for our full-size teenagers, and the suite was much more spacious than most hotel rooms we've stayed in. There was plenty of self-parking, check-out was quick and easy, and we appreciated that there were no surprise or hidden fees. read more

We often stay at this location while visiting Disneyland. They have a great shuttle that will take you back and forth to the parks for $5 per person. The property is clean and the staff kind and helpful. The restaurant has a breakfast buffet and menu available. There is also Starbucks and a Cafe with a variety of snacks available. read more

I stayed at this hotel twice: I don't recall anything from the first stay, so I can only assume everything was fine. The second stay, however, was well below average. I was only a guest for 2 days and my room's Wi-Fi did not work until 1 hour before checkout on the 2nd day. It would've been better if I had reception and could use my phone's data plan, but it was a dead spot and I could not use my phone. The hotel did not provide any updates during the repair, but I do know it was not a hotel-wide outage. The elevator situation was also a complete mess. In all my life, I had never seen a line to use an elevator at any hotel. Average wait times from the lobby to my room on the 4th floor ranged anywhere from 5-12 minutes. It was MUCH faster to take the stairs, which I did multiple times. I'm sure the high traffic had to do with the dance competition that was happening that weekend, but this was definitely a nuisance. $20 destination fee includes an F&B credit... as long as you have the secret coupon. I went to guest services a few minutes after checking in, and the kind sir retrieved a card listing the amenities and services which enhance the guest experience from the stack of cards right in front of the other kind sir--the same person who checked us in. Apparently part of the "enhanced guest experience" is a scavenger hunt. Later that night, I got beverages from the deli. The next morning I asked about the credit and was told it only works if you physically hand over the coupon at checkout. Coupon? What coupon? The card was a coupon?!? So unfortunately, that night's beverages were just a "learning experience" instead of a credit. I even tipped a dollar... so I essentially fully funded my own F&B credit. We stayed at Hyatt Regency Orange County during our midweek getaway to Disneyland from 1/7/26 to 1/9/26. I received some advice from a few friends who visit Disneyland on a frequent basis and we ended up choosing this hotel. With the both of us working and my LTP focusing on his second bachelor's degree, we haven't found the time to travel these past couple of months, and Disneyland was the perfect opportunity for us to take some time off from our respective jobs and school. This was the fourth Hyatt property I've stayed at; the first three being in Honolulu, HI, Long Beach, CA, and Denver, CO. Room stayed in: 1407, an executive king suite with a view of the lobby. We had booked a normal king room online but we got an upgrade for just $20 extra when we checked in. Pros: +Plenty of restaurant choices on hotel property if you don't feel like driving anywhere +Shuttle to Disneyland available on the :15 and the :45 every hour (no service between 10:45am-11:15am and 7:45pm-8:15pm, however) +Comfortable bed +Quick check in and check out +Starbucks downstairs (my closest coffee option) +Great shower pressure +Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash available (although I bought my own from home lol) +Vanity kit available +Free Wi-Fi +Streaming services available through your phone, laptop, or tablet +Beautiful lobby Cons: -Self parking and valet rates are expensive It was a little on the pricey side; then again, it's near Disneyland. If you are looking for an affordable hotel for your Disneyland trip with good amenities, this is your place! We visited this hotel over Thanksgiving for my mom's 70th birthday. Despite being busy, the hotel staff and accommodations were delightful and really made this a special experience. Hyatt Regency Orange County really impresses upon entry, with a stunning atrium. I was a bit nervous about the room since I had heard that half of the hotel is not yet renovated. This was a non-issue, as our room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was also amazing. Providing fresh squeezed Orange juice every morning and stocking unlimited smoked salmon in their buffet were just a couple of things that led this breakfast to far exceed our expectations. Particularly in the Disneyland area, where many hotels charge outrageous prices and have below standard amenities, this place is a breath of fresh air. Highly highly recommend. read more

This location is perfect if you're planning a day at Disneyland. They offer shuttle service to and from Disneyland for $12. The hotel had everything we needed. The staff were all friendly and pleasant to deal with. We didn't eat at any of the hotel restaurants, but they do offer a breakfast buffet at the lobby restaurant. The bar & grill is open until midnight if you're looking for a drink and bar food , appetizers, burgers, sandwiches etc. They also have an ice cream shop, deli, arcade, gift shop and Starbucks. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. hotel common areas were all well maintained, and the cleaning crew does their job well. Outside was a nice size pool , jacuzzi, pickleball courts, basketball court, fire pit and a gym. They also have movie night at 8pm at the pool with free popcorn. The fact that I even have to leave 1 star just to get this read is ridiculous. My partner and I lost our home due to a fire on Monday March 30th,2025. We went to the Hyatt searching for shelter and comfort during a time of much uncertainty. My partner and I of course were respectful to all the staff. Everyone from Justin at the front desk helping us check in and get the perfect room to Johnny helping us park our car. To Evan, the bellhop delivering the belongings we had left to our name. The next morning we went to the pool to try and relax but were met with security guards asking if we were okay. Everyone was fine, what wasn't fine was the next couple hours of my partner walking around asking "what's the problem?" While his hands were relaxed behind his back. Steve, Richard and "Jesus Christ" proceeded to intimidate my partner, ultimately leading them to push him back against an elevator door. Richard put his hands on my partner not once but twice. We left knowing we did nothing wrong, even respecting the police that were eventually called to waste more tax payers time and money. After leaving, paying our final bill of $224.82 for our one nights stay, I was charged $1000 for a "tv damage" despite never turning the television on or having it on when we arrived which allegedly that is the Hyatt protocol for all the cleaning staff to check and leave on for the next guest. First of all, staff are very responsive when you text. I reached out prior to my arrival and got helped. I checked in late at night after visiting Disneyland. This hotel is not a far drive from Disneyland. The parking lot is secured with a gate which is good because the area around it is sketchy. The hotel lobby is inviting and welcoming. The staff however aren't as welcoming. I received an upgrade before I arrived to a kids suite. The room was perfect with a full bunk on the bottom and a twin on top. The room itself looks outdated. It didn't bother me. It has many glass windows and being on the top floor the view was great except the windows need to be washed. The pool area and tennis courts look run down. Very clean, very nice hotel with tall ceilings in the lobby so you feel fancy. They're all decked out for Christmas right now. There are two pools on different sides of the hotel. Self park entrance - machine on the right - if you don't keep holding the hotel key card on the reader until the arm has risen all the way, it'll start coming back down on its own. Entrance on the back side of property for self park when hit the ADA open door button only the left door in the pair opens, the right one doesn't open, which isn't great. Lobby bathrooms are massive and clean, well maintained. Within the updated rooms, shower tub combo the tub is raised quite a bit, need to be really careful when stepping out of the tub. Really wish there were more towel hooks available for when more than one guest is using the shower. Shower curtains work decently well. Skeptical the shower mats can be cleaned well so did not use. The tub itself seems a bit cramped definitely only one person. A note to management on the toilet paper - please don't let it get any thinner. Re: the hand washing sink - The faucet where the water comes out, is too close to the back wall of the sink. Hands are constantly touching the back wall when rinsing or washing. Great lighting on the sink/canity side of bathroom, but not good in the shower area or side. Additionally, no ventilation fan (or at least needs one that's much much stronger). The Hair dryer works well though, as well as the Mini fridge - keeps things cold! AC works well for when guests are in the room, but I really dislike that it doesn't stay on once you step out. So the lobby is really impressive and the staff is nice. But it's loud. We can hear people coming and going in the halls. And little amenities are missing - like a magnet charger on the clock. Other Hyatt's have them, this one doesn't. Closet has no light. Bathroom feels a little cramped. That said it feels fancy outside the room. Restaurants are good. This was hands down one of our favorite Hyatt's to stay at. The lobby inside is designed just beautifully making it look like you are looking at the outside of hotel building inside. Lobby was spacious and had lots of different seating areas to rest, wait, or hangout. There is a large free parking lot and is about 5 minute drive to Disneyland. Hyatt also provides a cheap $7 shuttle service to and from Disneyland per day. What a steal. The staff were all helpful and always looked to be available at all hours that I could tell. The outside valet parking area has one of the best designed road/street. I forgot to take a picture of it from our room. Great size room and loved that includes a bath tub, great to have to bathe our 15 month old. They offer Pharmacopia products for shower and shampoo, conditioner- my favorite brand. We vacation in LA and couple times a year and we think this will be our go to spot from now on in this area, especially when going to Disneyland. read more

The bed in our room would literally sink as soon as we laid on it, same thing for the bunk bed in our adjacent room we could literally feel the springs in our back. It was possibly the worst sleep ever. Check in was at 4 pm so I stayed in my son's room til then and went down to the front desk and there was no line and I was offered a free upgrade to a king suite in the North Tower! That was great news as we were in the same tower as our son and his family. The suite was spacious with plenty of closet and drawer space, a living room with small sofa, bottled water at $4 a piece, bath/shower combo, towel rack, microwave and refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, ironing board and iron, extra blankets, safe, everything you need. We didn't use the bottled water as we brought empty water bottles to fill at the hotel water dispensing machines located neR the ice maker on each floor and in the lobby near the North Tower. The fitness center had towels, earphones, sanitary wipes, machines, free weights, balls, stability and bosu ball so I felt at home. All in all a comfortable stay in the hotel as the staff is friendly. read more

Let me start by saying we usually enjoy the Hyatt Regency... but this time? This time felt like the hotel woke up and chose violence. Everything started normal: valet the car (valet team still carrying the whole hotel on their backs like Olympic champions), check into the room, blah blah. Then we walk into the bathroom and surprise! The sink is literally detaching from the wall like it's trying to escape the premises. Rust everywhere. I'm shocked they didn't leave a waiver saying, "Use at your own risk. Tetanus boosters recommended." Whatever. Busy weekend. Next morning, the elevator decides it's on strike and simply refuses to stop at the 14th floor. We're stuck with everyone else waiting like we're trying to catch the attention of a cat who clearly sees us and just doesn't care. After 20 minutes, we give up and press the UP button just to hitchhike a ride to literally anywhere that isn't the 14th floor. We go to reception to change rooms and we get the classic "Oh, we've heard nothing about that," while the valet is right behind us like, "We've heard it all morning." (Shout-out again to valet the only people at this Hyatt who seem to actually exist in the real world.) We're told the other tower is suites only and more expensive fine, whatever, take my money BUT we can move later that night because all our stuff is out and we want to pack it ourselves. "No problem," they say. Plot twist: at lunch, I get a message saying they're moving our stuff right now. Amazing. Incredible. Stunning. The speed at which this hotel can do the one thing we asked them NOT to do is breathtaking. So I call and get told by a sassy, condescending guy named a**hole, I mean Justinthat actually they can't move our stuff and we need to come back immediately because they need the room. So basically: They weren't going to move our stuff, but they were going to move our stuff, but actually they weren't, and now we have to drop our entire day and drive 30 minutes back because someone couldn't keep a single brain cell focused long enough to keep the story straight. At this point all I wanted was a "Hey, sorry we messed up," but instead I got customer service energy equivalent to being told "Sucks to be you." Moral of the story: unless you're staying in the suite tower, prepare for a haunted-house elevator, a bathroom that looks like it's auditioning for a tetanus documentary, and communication so bad it should be studied by scientists. These guys didn't even finch when I asked them If I could grab my backpack when I forgot it in my car.... even their boss David was awesome and so welcoming to the feed back what a great business card to the company.... I always stay at this particular Hyatt and it's been wonderful. I don't know what's going on with this place these days as it's gone down hill in the past 6 months. It's still a beautiful hotel the rooms are still great but the shower was a nightmare...the shower head barely worked which made it seem like the water pressure was non existent. Then to boot their towels were beyond acceptable, they were literally torn, tattered, and had holes. You can see in the photos how bad their towels are. I'm not sure I'd stay here again as it seems like they don't have a clue as to how to run this place anymore. Literally no attention to details. 12/21-12/24/2024 Disney theme park goers rejoice, because this is perhaps one of the best full service hotels to stay at when visiting the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim. I myself stayed 3 nights here to experience the festive Christmas season at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. Booking: there's no rule as to where one should ultimately reserve; if you prefer Expedia, any other 3rd party, or directly with Hyatt.com - it is entirely up to you. As a hotel loyalist, I booked direct with Hyatt so that I can earn the most benefits. As this is a category 4 property, points redemption will vary by season but can range between 15K-21K for a standard room and can go as high as 30K. Cash rate will start at around $200 before taxes. Proximity: the Disneyland Resort is roughly 10-15 minutes away by car, and those brave enough to venture by foot (20-30 minutes). Thankfully, for $6 a day with unlimited rides, this property offers a shuttle (starting 45 minutes before park opening hours and running up until 1AM). Neither did my party and I have to worry about time or where to catch an Uber back to the hotel. Reception: my checkin experience was pretty spot on - the agent acknowledged my World of Hyatt status by providing a 2pm checkout on the departure date and automatically assigned connecting rooms for my reservations even though I had not requested it. Every detail of the hotel was explained during my checkin experience and I very much appreciated the agents patience as well. The room: I was provided rooms in the south tower, which includes its own pool level - the north tower also has its own pool. While I did not photograph the accommodations, the room felt fairly spacious, newly renovated with hardwood floors and connecting doors. Having both rooms open up to each other made the space feel like a suite. The only negative of the room was that the fridge was placed on the floor and not in the media console, but that it didn't hinder the stay experience. There was plenty of power outlets and bedside USB plugs along with a well sized smart television. We received daily housekeeping, which was greatly appreciated to return to a refreshed room. The outlets: we did have breakfast buffet on our last morning at Tosca, and though simple, everything was well prepared and delicious. My favorite part was the omelette station, and they were prepared to perfection. Service was overall attentive with a friendly waitress. There is also a bar, bubble tea spot, and a sundry shop. Starbucks is technically not part of the hotel outlets, but it's nice to have one directly in the hotel lobby. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to the Disneyland Resort. read more

A big reason why I booked this Hyatt was the convenience and location from Disneyland. It's less than 2 miles from the park which is a huge plus. The moment I stepped into this hotel I was in awe. It was beautiful and has a nice gift shop inside, as well as a Starbucks, mini arcade, and I believe there is also a conference room or even convention center. The pros of staying here; super close to Disneyland, they offer a shuttle service to and from Disneyland for $6 per person, children under 3 ride free. The shuttle comes by every 30 minutes. Theres a really good restaurant located inside this hotel. My daughter enjoyed the Mickey mouse shaped waffle. My husband and I shared a breakfast burrito. The restaurant also offers a breakfast buffet priced at $28 per person (not a bad deal). The rooms are nice, spacious and clean. The cons of staying here; parking is not free. Over night guests must pay $30 per night, I think valet is a little more, $38? That's probably the only bad thing I have to say about this hotel. I'm a Hyatt member, and this is one of the nicer Hyatt's I've stayed in. All of the employees are friendly and happy . I'd stay here again. read more

Our room had a window that faced into the lobby, fun for people watching but not fun for sunlight and noise. We stayed on a Saturday night after returning from the theme park. The staff member who checked us in a little after 9 p.m. was extremely nice--he acknowledged our Hyatt status and upgraded us to a queen suite. Although it was an accessible room, the space was very large and included a separate living room. Unfortunately, we could hear loud kids in the room next door around 11 p.m., which made us wonder if the walls are a bit thin. The staff also took care of our parking, which we appreciated. We didn't get a chance to use the other amenities since we left early the next morning, though we have used them during a prior stay. The room itself was spacious, very clean, and even included a microwave, which we didn't end up using. Overall, I definitely recommend this hotel. The only downside was the noise from the neighboring family. read more

Interestingly enough I have been in more Hotels in the past 5 months than in the previous 15 years. With the Garden Grove based HYATT REGENCY Orange County (GG), I've actually been here recently repeatedly for local events. So this review is focused more on what a lovely venue it is, the parking, and the food. The first event where I was here recently this past Fall I got to sample both breakfast and lunch fare. The catering staff were gracious and attentive. The coffee was good. There was a variety of tea out for us as well, and the food was good. We really cared the most about the coffee. The whole station set up was elegant with the cups and spoons. While it also offered "To-Go" cups and lids so we could take more coffee with us to fuel the much needed caffeine during the day. While the breakfast was good, the lunch and dinner offerings were even more amazing and delicious. For lunch over a few days, the always had an interesting mix of vegetables and meats out for us. The steam veggies were so good. I made a point to eat the vegetable that I couldn't just have at home. However, they did also always have a mix of salad greens out for us. My only drawback was I didn't personally love their salmon, but maybe it was just the dish wasn't my personal favorite. They had either cookies or small servings of cake for us. Seriously great. Even more amazing was over the December Holidays the catering for an evening event, the beef was so tender and flavorful! Parking: there is a paid lot. For this area which is really adjacent to Disneyland, you will always pay for parking. It was very reasonable. First of all this place is a beautiful property. Located near Disneyland and other cool places . It's like its own little town with Starbucks, restaurants in the lobby. My room window was even facing the lobby so my view was actually looking into the lobby. Kinda neat. My room had a mini fridge and Keurig coffee maker. I was concerned at first when I arrived to my room because there was a strong Clorox smell in the hall way and it was so strong that I felt that it may have been spilled. I opened my hotel room and the smell permeated into the room. I turned on the air and thankfully it dissipated very quick. Besides that issue everything was awesome. read more

Didn't do an overnight stay here, only visited as a guest since we were trying to kill time in the area. Parking is not free. They have valet and self parking. Valet is at the entrance and self parking is the giant lot behind the hotel. It's an old lot and not paved well so watch out for your tires. They offer validation up to 3 hours with receipt from their restaurants. Validate your ticket at the valet desk though! Otherwise it starts at $8 for the first half hour. Hotel itself is nice. Gives an indoor/outdoor feel. The lobby is very nice as its made of glass windows so there's a lot of natural light shining through. The hotel is relatively small. They do have amenities on the 3rd floor such as their pool and a recreational area. Overall visit here was good. Wish there was more to do, but decent hotel near Disneyland. Love the pet friendliness. There's plenty of pet relief areas throughout the hotel! read more

If you can stay at the Hyatt Place, do it. It's a much nicer experience. The staff here are so oblivious and lack in customer service. I only had 2 staffers that were nice, the rest were just there and really lacking in basic people skills. I would have rather drove home than stay here. I do a lot of hotel bookings for my company and this is a place that I have marked as a "no" should anyone ask. I rarely give bad reviews but if I'm still bothered days later, that really says A LOT. read more

Love how the lobby looks beautiful chandeliers floors there was a bar in the lobby and a very delicious gelato milkshakes ice cream, etc. you could even walk outside the building towards the back and there is an amazing sushi place With also great interior overall experience 10 out of 10 valet parking giant windows quality service and the buffet was delicious. The Hyatt in Orange made a good first impression. The hotel's ambiance was welcoming, and it maintained the Hyatt standard of cleanliness and style I've come to expect. My family always enjoys staying here. One of our go to hotels when we're in the Disneyland area. The hotel is clean with fun activities to keep my kids entertained, excellent customer service, walking distance to stores and restaurants, and a shuttle to go to Disneyland. However, the pool doesn't match the hotel size but no kid really cares and were not really picky. It's a nice hotel to stay at and we'll be back again. read more

We always stay here when visiting southern cal , the staff are wonderful and it is a warm hearted feeling when you see the same staff year after year, to mention a few but not all. Do not miss the breakfast , Natalia greets you and Laila, Sara and Melisa treat you like family, the kids just love these. Folks which makes the trip that much more awesome. This was a great hotel for a work trip. I didn't pick this hotel like I normally would when traveling. It was picked for me since the conference I attended was hosted here. They did a great job with the conference and the hotel was top-notch. Located a very quick Uber ride from the airport, this Hyatt is convenient for folks flying in. They also are close to Disneyland and the shuttle is cheap and quick. Unless you plan on a lot of driving around, I would not suggest a rental car. The room I had was a small suite. It was nice to have the additional living area as I had work to do while I was in town. The room had a view of the interior lobby but was not overly loud at night when people were at the bar. I did get to visit one of the higher-end suites and it was incredibly nice. Like I could live in it nice. Plus it had a balcony and while inside, you could see the fireworks show from Disney. If you are a baller, you may want to splurge for one of these. There is a bar on-site, a restaurant, and a Starbucks. The restaurant has weird hours so I mainly ended up eating in the bar. Bar food is good as are the drinks but both are expensive. It's CA so you should expect to drop some cash. If you want to stock up on supplies for your room, there is a Target located within walking distance. read more
