AVOID THIS HOTEL. THEY WILL CANCEL YOUR ROOM WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT TO GET MORE MONEY FROM ANOTHER BOOKING. Back story: Our reservation was canceled on us last minute even though the front desk told us we could check in the next day and our booking would stay active. We weren't even asking for any refund for the first night. After driving 5 hours, we were told we were marked as a "no show" so there was no room, and they refused to give us proof (because we booked through a 3rd party) until we argued for almost an hour. Carlos even called the cops on us just for asking for written confirmation. Management (Nick and Lad Sam) offered no help and had already rented out our room for the next night, then tried to charge us more for the current night. They cost less than the other hotels for a reason. Trust the other bad reviews because this is not the first time they cancel guests last minute.

The only "proof" they provided to us after an hour of fighting for it because they canceled our room without our consent.

Affordable hotel for a quick trip to Disneyland. Pros: quiet, convenient location with local stores and restaurants, free parking, free WiFi, 20 minute walk to Disneyland. Cons: moldy shower and old shower head, cockroaches, itchy sensation throughout the night, dirty carpet, broken iron board. Thankfully, we didn't spend much time here because we spent our days at Disneyland. However, I do not believe we will be coming back to this hotel.

Located about 10 minutes north from Disneyland, this hotel is on the edge of the resort corridor. In fact, I would wager it is the edge, because any further down Harbor is kind of dark. The signage out front makes it easy to find and unlike anything directly around the resort, there's a ton of parking! We checked in easily and there are basics available to purchase in the lobby until 11PM. There's also a liquor store up the street, but we did not head that way. If you're into old school pizza, Shakey's pizza is a little walk south. Yum. The rooms are comfortable and seem recently redone. Bedding was all new, the amenities seemed refreshed. It was a comfortable room for the 12 hours we were there. They do have a pool, and guest laundry. I would say the only thing that was a negative was the fireworks from Disney are so loud it sounds like a war zone. The way our room was situated made everything echo so every boom echoed and was overly exaggerated. My husband has PTSD from serving overseas and that was unexpectedly loud and disconcerting for him. A warning would have been appreciated, along with the time at check-in, or maybe posted in the room. Aside from that, this is a decent property for the price we paid through Expedia.

Wow! Loved this place! Got there and place is clean and organized. My room was outstandingly clean compared to these other reviews I've read. Service was amazing. Carlos was very friendly and accommodated us with a complementary upgrade. Will totally be coming back to this place.

Stayed for non-consecutive nights at the end of same week. Two different rooms. Very clean. Look newly renovated. Ample free parking. Room 209 had very noise AC. Small pool, depending on time of day, shaded. About 20-minute walk to Disneyland. Microwave, small fridge, full size ironing board. No safe. Quick check-in and check-out. Notice for out-of-town guests, pamphlets for places to visit in the lobby aren't necessarily close to Anaheim, some are hours away. Would stay again.

Great location. 5 min drive to downtown Disney and if you're up for it you can walk there as well! Overall great hotel. Very clean and you can tell the rooms are maintained and are monitored! I would definitely book here again and if you do check out Priceline. That's where I booked and got a deal on 2 nights! Ideal for Disney trips!

Severe allergic reaction to their sheets

If you get anything out of this review, I hope it's that they don't care about you, only your money. Me and my friend booked a trip 10-11/10-18. At first everything was fine. A few stains on the sheets and walls but for the great location near Disney at a low price, we weren't complaining. However, when I slept I felt itchy the entire night. When I woke up I was completely covered in hives. At first it was small, not noticeable much, and looked like I just had a bad breakout. That night I went to bed super itchy again and when I woke up, I was completely worse, and had to go to urgent care. Before I left the hotel, I asked the front desk what detergent they use for their sheets, if they have hypoallergenic sheets, etc. The front desk lady said she has no clue. I told her I was having a severe allergic reaction. She said "I'll ask housekeeping". Me and my friend go to urgent care, but hey have to give me steroids for my severe allergic reaction that I now have to take for two weeks, and when I went back I asked to speak to a manager for a refund. When I explained the situation the manager started to gaslight me saying "in my years of working here nobodies ever had anything happen to them because of the sheets". I said nobody is the same person. Take a look at my skin. I didn't eat, drink, or use anything different. The doctor comforted it was a contact allergic reaction and I've used not a single thing that I haven't used many times before. I asked for a refund and he said "I'll have to think about that". So I asked what can you do for me. He said "nobodies had this reaction before. Sleep in the bed and in the morning we'll go from there." The manager lacks common sense because why would I sleep in the same bed that causes me an allergic reaction. So we called Expedia for a refund and they called him. He told them that if we left he would refund us the nights we didn't stay. So we booked a hotel, went down to the lobby, and he told us and I quote "you will not be getting a refund for tonight since it's past checkout time". I was in urgent care during check out time. There's no sympathy or any care for my well being. We now wasted almost $150 on a night we didn't stay in under the precaution it would be refunded back. So, if you stayed to read this, DONT ever spend your money on them.

Our room was incredibly spacious, clean and thoughtfully designed for families. The bunk beds were perfect for our two older girls and they even brought up a crib for our littlest. We had a booth like table which was perfect for when the kids were eating! Also having two separate bathrooms/showers was an absolute game changer! One included a shower/tub combination, which made bath time with kids so much easier. We also loved our private balcony with high, secure railings for kids, where we had an amazing view of Disneyland park, including the nighttime fireworks! The water park was another huge highlight. We appreciated that access was limited to guests with wristbands, making it feel safe and exclusive. There were lifeguards everywhere, which gave us so much peace of mind while the kids played. The older kids even went back down for round two while the littles took their afternoon nap! The lobby restaurant and bar had delicious food, and the TVs throughout the lobby playing Disney shows kept the kids entertained while we relaxed and enjoyed our food. Every single staff member we encountered--from the valet team and bell service to the front desk and water park staff--was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Their hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. The location truly couldn't be better. Being able to simply walk across the street to Disneyland made our trip so convenient and stress-free. The valet/bell service even held all our luggage after we checked out and went to the park. Everything was so organized with a ticket/bell service tag number. We had such an amazing experience from start to finish and would recommend this hotel to any family visiting Disneyland. It truly made our trip even more magical!

From the moment you pull into the driveway, you know you're somewhere special. I chose valet parking, which is about $60 a night. They also offer self-parking at a lower rate if you'd rather save a little money. As soon as you walk through the doors, you're greeted with the most amazing signature scent. It honestly reminds me of walking into an upscale Las Vegas resort. The lobby is elegant, there's a beautiful bar, a well-equipped fitness center, and a gorgeous pool area. We spent some time at the heated pool and jacuzzi, and it was the perfect way to unwind after a long day. The jacuzzi even has water features flowing into it, making it feel like a true luxury resort. The rooms are just as impressive. They're modern, elegant, and incredibly comfortable. The carpet was so soft, the bathroom was beautiful, and the entire room felt clean, relaxing, and upscale. Now, here's the decision I had to make. I could have booked a theme park view room where you can see Disney California Adventure and the fireworks from your balcony. But instead, I chose a resort-view room because I really wanted to experience the hotel's rooftop restaurant, Rise. And I'm so glad I did. When we checked in, they were able to get us a reservation for 8:30 p.m. The restaurant is reservation-only, so I definitely recommend planning ahead if you can. We arrived just before sunset, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The rooftop has glass panels all around, so you have an unobstructed view of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure while you're enjoying dinner. Then, at 9:30, the fireworks started. Watching the sunset fade into the Disney fireworks while enjoying dinner on the rooftop was honestly one of the most magical experiences of the trip. It was worth every penny. So if you're celebrating something special, planning a romantic getaway, or just want to treat yourself to a luxury Disneyland experience, The Westin Anaheim is an incredible choice. It's definitely a splurge--but if you're looking to feel a little bougie, relax in luxury, and create an unforgettable Disney memory, you won't regret staying here.

The hotel is relatively modern and has been maintained extremely well. Rooms have consistently been very clean, and there are a surprising number of configurations designed for larger families. Depending on the room, you'll find bunk beds, separate sleeping areas, and layouts that give mom and dad at least some separation from the kids at the end of the day. That's harder to find around Disneyland than it should be, particularly within the Hilton portfolio. The lobby is large, bright, and airy, with plenty of seating, a good snack/market area, and Disney+ seemingly always playing for the kids. The complimentary breakfast is the typical Homewood Suites buffet, but the breakfast area itself is enormous. It gets very busy in the morning--as you'd expect at a Disneyland hotel--but we've generally been able to find somewhere to sit even during the rush. The pool is OK. Nothing particularly special, but perfectly adequate for letting the kids burn off whatever energy Disneyland somehow failed to extract from them. Service has consistently been friendly and helpful. The property is also surprisingly easy to get in and out of for a hotel this busy. Two elevators keep things moving reasonably well, and multiple exits provide quick access to different parts of the parking lot. Parking is gated and does carry an additional fee, which is worth factoring into the room rate. Disneyland is walkable from the hotel, although I'd put an asterisk next to "walkable." With school-age kids it's very manageable; with toddlers or younger children, the distance becomes considerably less appealing--particularly at the end of a long park day. The location also works well for travelers who aren't visiting Disneyland, as the Anaheim Convention Center is very close. For families, especially loyal Hilton members, this is an outstanding option. There are hotels closer to the parks and certainly hotels with better pools or more upscale amenities, but very few combine the room configurations, cleanliness, breakfast setup, location, and family-friendly common areas as well as this one. While we are moving out of the stage of life where this may be the case, for our previous trips with kids ranging from 2-8, it's served our family, extremely well. -AC

Like the previous Homewood suite we stayed at, the dishwasher was very old and rusted, bathroom area could have used some cosmetic repairs. Pull out bed was very soft and thin, could feel all of the springs. The room was overall spacious and clean. The bunk beds were perfect for the kids . Best breakfast selection out of any hotel that I've stayed at. 3 working waffle makers. -$46 a day to park your car -1 mile walk to Disneyland

I had the correct date online when I purchased, but when it saved I don't know if I hit refresh or what, but it changed the date to that same night as I was making the booking-not several weeks in the future when the game was. I explained the situation to the front desk and the manager working and they wouldn't refund or change the dates since it was day of, so I had to pay for 2 nights when nobody checked in and used the rooms plus two rooms at an even higher costs the night we actually checked in and used them. It was pretty frustrating and being a single teacher from Arizona-the worst paying teacher salaries in the nation-money is kind of tight and this trip was a treat and a birthday gift for my friend and her family. It ended up costing a lot more than I had planned, which definitely put a damper on things. But I didn't argue and paid the four room bills, although only 2 were used and not even a future voucher for two rooms was offered instead of a refund on the two unused rooms. Not very good customer service, and not a hotel I will ever use again after that experience.
