Nice enough but a tad outdated. *Pet friendly Stayed here for a few days during the Thanksgiving Holiday. Check in was very easy and the employees working the front desk were helpful and quick with their work. They do have a bell man if you need assistance with your bags. Parking is $15 and they have a large structure. Honestly I don't know if they check the parking tickets. I only bought one ticket so I'm not sure if it included the two days or if I just got lucky. The room was okay however the view was lovely! It was clean but very outdated and the bedside table was broken. The shower and bathroom were big and clean, and they also put the TV remote in a sanitized bag. They also have a golf course right behind the hotel and a pool available for those brave enough to swim in off seasons. The hotel restaurant is very busy in the morning so get there early. They do also have a bar open most of the day. Decent experience and I would come back/recommend if you need to stay in the area or are heading to Magic Mountain. Overall 8/10 read more

Very disappointing. The rooms were not well kept, the toiletries were empty, and not enough towels stocked in the bathroom (only 3 towels in a 2-bed room booked for 4 people). If the rule in Real estate is location, location, location, this hotel has a lot going for it. Besides being in proximity to family venues like Six Flags Magic Mountain, it is also a short walk to the Westfield-Valencia Mall, a movie theatre, and some pretty nice eatery choices, like Lazy Dog, BJ's, and an excellent Juice Stop for high quality smoothies. The hotel itself has a very friendly staff, pleasantly spacious and clean rooms, and fulfilled one of my rare requests of other higher end hotels, to provide bath towels that are plush and absorbent, rather than the "seen-better-days" thin ones most hotels offer. We also appreciated a container of Q-tips--also a rare hotel offering. Beds and pillows are comfortable, and the housekeeping staff very accommodating for requests. There is a refrigerator in the rooms, but no coffee or microwave for in-room tea water, although there is a note in the room that some "convenience" items can be requested, from hair brushes to coffee. Our 5th floor room was quiet--even overlooking the pool and jacuzzi area. The value is comparable to other hotels of its caliber and they offer extended stay rate negotiation. read more

The Hyatt is surrounded by a beautiful area, lots of inexpensive & high end restaurants nearby. This location is in the heart of downtown Valencia 5 mins away from the mall. We didn't end up parking in the garage because it was $17 overnight so we ended up parking behind the Hyatt for free. The walk from there to front desk wasn't bad at all. I love how a key card is needed to use the elevator as well as the doors and gates on the property. My only complaint was the process trying to lock in early arrival for the room. It didn't give me an option to pay an additional when I booked. There was only a section for special requests where you could write you would like early check in. I called ahead of time, they told me it was a day of type of thing. I called two days before because I got an email stating I could pay an extra $35 for early check in so I modified the reservation and "paid" the fee. In my head this should solidly my spot. I checked do make sure my reservation was updated the day before & it wasn't. It still had the normal check in time of 12am so I called to verify. The front desk employee was not extremely nice but she basically told me it's still not guaranteed if the room becomes avaliable the charge would be pushed thru, if not the $35 would be released back to me. In conclusion despite being ready to pay to secure my spot I would still have to call morning of. This made is pretty hard to plan and I didn't expect this type of procedure from the Hyatt because I'm a Hilton member and if you pay ahead of time your spot is locked in. Therefore I was alittle disappointed because these rooms arent cheep and I made the choice to opt in for a high end luxary hotel to alleviate this type pf last minute stress. I would understand if it was a busy holiday weekend but theres no reason why they couldnt guarantee an early check in. * also house keeping came into our room while relaxing in bed, she was very apologetic but still there was no knock. read more

Beautiful room on the fifth floor. Pleasantly surprised of the golf course/pool view! I had a lovely experience at this location! Door men were super helpful and front desk was kind in being flexible with upgrading my room for the night at no extra expense. I have no complaints! Room was also incredibly spacious and clean upon entering. Love the convenience of the movie theater, shops and restaurants within walking distance. (Right across the street! Added plus+) Will definitely be coming back! Such a nice lil getaway within the madness of how crowded Valencia has gotten within the last couple years. The room was clean, and the breakfast buffet was delicious, with a tentative great server. The only reason why I'm giving them 3 stars, is due to the cold dirty water. Very easy check in. The staff was very nice and friendly. Stayed there for 4th of July and Surprisingly it was a nice quiet night. Rooms are nice and up to date. I stayed in room 340 and it was an ok view of the pool. I prefer being higher up. but rooms were sold out. So I was stuck with that one. Pool is quiet, nice and relaxing. It's a nice family environment. Good place to recharge. I think the experience would be better if they added room service again. Because this is actually a nice hotel. Doorman is friendly and remembers the regulars. Cons: Terrible water pressure in the shower, only half of the showers are equipped with a foot rest for shaving, thermostat works well some of the time, Wi-Fi is horrible and so is cell service, so really tough to work from the room. Only place in town that charges for self- parking. read more

She said the only restrooms were in the hotel rooms upstairs. I found this odd because I've eaten at the Hyatt before and used the restroom when I did. sure enough when I went around to look, I found restrooms on the first floor, open to guests. I'm not sure why the lady behind the front counter lied to me it's very offputting and offensive. I'm not going in your bathroom to cause trouble. guess I'll stay somewhere else where I'm not judged for wanting to take a shit! My husband and I booked a balcony room for one night to visit our kids in the area in hopes to relax at a higher end hotel but instead it turned out to be a horrible experience with little to no sleep due to a large church group that partied until well after 1am. We called the front desk several times before they actually picked up the phone asking them to send security to break up the crowd just to get- "sorry, we have attempted to make them leave twice now but they haven't left so we will go out and take care of this now". My husband and I were speechless! How they were allowed to carry on after 2 attempts was beyond comprehension. And now we were supposed to believe a third attempt would do it? Guess what, it didn't! They continued on for another hour or so! The worst part was when we tried to call the front desk again and again and again, they just flat out did not answer. That was just the topper but here's the rest- the room was unkept and the coffee maker was hidden in the closet. We paid for a balcony room but the balcony was dirty and I had to wipe down the lawn chairs, table, and the ledge. We ordered room service and only received two slivers of carrots and celery with our order of wings. They were about 3 inches max. For the money we paid to have a relaxing higher end experience turned out to be a disaster! We will never go back there again! read more

Quite possibly one of the best hotels in Valencia. They are dog friendly, pool/hot tub friendly, there's a conference/banquet room space, a beautiful rose/bush garden with fountains and the staff is nice. There are two shopping centers up the block with lots of stores (Nordstrom rack, TJ Maxx, Target) and other stores plus a mall across the street. I've frequented this location over 4x in the last year and each time have had a great experience. They were super supportive and comforting when we had to be in town for two family members funerals within a year. Thank you to everyone at this location for being so welcoming and kind. So this is probably the premier hotel in Santa Clarita. I can't think of a nicer one out here off the top of my head. I've stayed here several times, including on my wedding night, and I've attended several events in a few of their banquet rooms. I can't believe I haven't written a review yet. So over the years, this Hyatt has had a few renovations. The rooms are clean, nice. Standard for the Hyatt chain. Thr location is smack dab in the middle of Valencia. Its walking distance to tons of restaurants, the Westfield Town Center and lots of other things to do in the area. They have lots of different sized banquet rooms for all types of events and parties. They also have a nice, small, beautiful outdoor garden where you can also host events. The staff is always helpful, happy and accommodating. The hotel restaurant has changed several times, I've noticed, but I haven't eaten there since it was The Vines, which was a long time ago. Again, this has always been the nicest hotel in Sants Clarita, and although that's not really saying much, it still remains. If I ever had to get a hotel in SCV, I'd still get one here. read more

Although, I hat no hot water due to water heater breaking, the room had yellow water spots in the shower and towel rack fell out the wall, the 4 star rating is strictly for cleanliness, beautiful balcony terrace view of golf course and eateries within walking distance!! THIS IS AN AWESOME HOTEL! We have stayed here several times and always have a great experience. Our check in experience was amazing as always.The on -site restaurant has been remodeled and looks fantastic. The location of this hotel is incredible, as its within walking distance to the Mall, Target and several restaurants, including Olive Garden, Red Robin, BJ's, as well as a very nice movie theater. There is Valet parking available for $14.00 per night, but we park in the adjacent parking garage for FREE. The pool and jacuzzi are quite beautiful (see photo). We were given a room upgrade for being WORLD OF HYATT members (awesome program!) Which included some cool features like the time illuminated on bathroom mirror, reading lights on both sides of bed and in room refrigerator with glass door (see photos) The bed was quite comfortable too! This review is for service by Danny. My close friend was in that 100 car pile up on the grapevine. She'd fostered a beautiful dog and it wasn't working out to keep him so in tears she was driving him to his perfect new forever home when the accident occurred. On the tarp people were severely injured, a horse killed- she was mostly okay but her car was totaled. From 3pm until 10pm she tried to get to a normal area from the grapevine where she could handle things like medical care, a car rental and so on- with the sweet dog. She was turned away from two hotels. I called the Hyatt and thankfully got Danny. He said the hotel was booked but placed me on hold and found a room at 10:30 pm and was able to waive pet fee. He also was able to take an order from me to have some treats sent to her room at nearly 11 pm. He personally made sure she was settled in. She was so grateful for the Hyatt and for Danny in particular. Danny, you exemplify Customer Service, Business Acumen and Positive Management Skills. We are big fans of yours! read more

I just came back from an excellent stay at this hotel. We usually select other places in the area. In fact, I was booked for the Hampton Inn until I saw that the Hyatt Regency dropped to a lower tier for points redemption. As long as that holds, we will definitely stay here on our next trip. I checked in through the mobile app but did not arrive until late. I was able to grab my room key quickly and easily from the front desk. Thanks to my status, they let me know to ignore the $5 signs on the water bottles in the room. I also had not eaten anything since lunch. I asked about one of the $6 fruit cups in the pantry area and they told me to just grab it. On a related note, I believe this place charges for parking, but it seems like I was not charged. The lobby area was nice and had a number of people still enjoying the bar. I didn't have time to check out any of the other amenities. I had a room on the 5th floor and it was as quiet as can be. The room itself was spacious and immaculate with a nice view of the golf course just behind the pool area. I was especially pleased with the toiletries provided. They're just little things, but providing items like cotton tips and a travel tube of toothpaste add to the guest experience immensely. Though I didn't need anything else, they also provide a list of complimentary items that you can request. The only minor issues I had was that my room key didn't work when I returned for my second night and the ice machine on my floor didn't work. Otherwise, I couldn't be happier with my stay. read more

This is probably the nicest hotel in Santa Clarita. It's conveniently located close to restaurants and stores. It also has a full bar and restaurant in the hotel if your not in the mood to venture out. They are a pet friendly hotel as well, however I don't see many dogs around. Staff is always really friendly and helpful. I love the rooms and the beds are super comfortable. This hotel is pricier than some of the others in the area, but hey sometimes you get what you pay for. Rooms are nice and clean and hotel is quiet. My only complaint is the $20 dollar parking which is across in the parking structure and not even valet..... I think that's a bit ridiculous. The Hiding Regency Hotel The Hyatt Regency in Valencia California is hiding something from you (The Hiding Regency). The property should not be commanding the highest room rate in the region for several reasons. This happened to me on April 26th. I was paying a room rate of $400 a night for room 621. There was one chair, (a desk chair) two double beds, no glasses, no coffee maker, and the ice machine for the floor that didn't work. The pool area water fountains didn't work either, but there was a portable water cooler next to the water fountains, and you guessed it, it didn't work. The hotel parking garage across the street was unattended and there was no valet parking, doorman, or bell service. No restaurant to speak of, just a morning coffee bar, in what would be the breakfast serving area, without morning coffee. There wasn't even a restaurant on the property. I've never seen a hotel with such a global reputation as poorly run. All in all, the horrid experience was one I soon won't forget. You owe it to yourself to stay anywhere else before you stay at this Hyatt Regency. That's why it should change its name to The Hiding Regency. Following numerous messages for the general manager to discuss adjusting my room rate, (with no response), I'm forced to write this Yelp report to hopefully save you, your family, and friends from making the mistake I made. read more

Stayed two more times since updated review. Room 604 (King, no terrace). But set up completely identical to terrace room. Nice room but more road noise due to it being on the top floor. Next room was 249 (King w/ terrace). End of hallway. Very quiet. Great AC. Horrible water pressure. Count on a long shower if you have thick or long hair! The shower stall had a foot bar though, which is great for a shaving and/or us tall people. This is my favorite room so far. The bar downstairs is now open also. Update: I have to deduct a star. Stayed again May 31- June 2, 2021 in same room type (King with Terrace) - Room was not ready upon check-in @3:30. Christina at the front desk was very apologetic and professional, but I still had to wait a little bit. My room was 223. Right by the ice machine! As an extremely light sleeper, this was very disappointing. I also have it requested in my member profile to have a quiet room. The toilet leaked and flushed on its own every 30 minutes. I requested to change rooms but was told this was the most popular room type and they were booked. Christina said she would comp me one night parking because I had to wait for room, but looking at my bill, it never was. The next afternoon, I was told I could move to room 247 and it should be much quieter. It was, BUT, the AC wasn't working, just the fan. To say it was a miserable night of sleep is an understatement. We had dinner at the lobby restaurant, bought a bottle of wine, and we both left very disappointed in the meal this time as it was flavorless. The only thing I can say positive about this last stay was the pool and Jacuzzi, and Christina's kindness. Stayed April 2021 - so still in the Covid world of limitations. Overall the hotel and staff are very nice, and is located in an open air shopping area. Self parking is across a small street in a covered parking structure. Our truck with shell fit. No valet. The King room with terrace is an upgraded king room and it is average to small size, but the terrace is very nice and somewhat private. The countertop and shower in the bathroom is small. However, the water pressure is amazing! The coffee tray is in the closet. Which is kind of strange. But space is obviously limited. The bed was comfortable but I cannot comment on the pillows as we bring our own. The outside courtyard Jacuzzi and Pool area is small but nice. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the Jacuzzi and we appreciated that it was open. We have traveled frequently during Covid and try to only book hotels where the Jacuzzi was open. There is an on-site restaurant with a limited menu but it was surprisingly good. There is also an on-site bar but drinks are to go only right now. If you're in the area of Valencia or Santa Clarita, I highly recommend this hotel. The little bit extra in cost is worth a guaranteed clean, comfortable, all amenities, stay. read more

First review on a hotel and no photos for this one, so I'm just going to write of my experience this trip. I travel for work from time to time and usually stay at whatever hotel work will pay for. I am familiar with the Valencia area and knew this hotel was close to food, entertainment, etc. There really aren't many "bad" areas in SCV, but this hotel location is definitely not one of them. There is a full bar and restaurant inside the hotel. I did not have the opportunity to try the food, but I did sit at the bar. The selection of drinks was okay, but happy hour was pretty pricey compared to walking across the street to BJ's Brewhouse (which I did the second night). The room was decent, however I noticed little spots here and there which were not so clean. There was no hotel guide in the room. So, I had to wonder about to find the fitness room. The fitness room, was disappointing. It was tiny with a limited amount of cardio machines and weights. Okay, that all said, the staff was nice and helpful. The hotel ambiance was very nice. There was even a wedding the second night of my stay. I'm giving three stars because given the location of the hotel, I think there's definitely some room for improvement. read more

We stayed in one that had sliding glass doors that open to a veranda. Customer service was so friendly and helpful. They genuinely wanted to help, which is so rare nowadays. Quick, quiet elevator. Stayed here for two nights and checked out 8/9. Left a pair of airpods in the room and realized less than 12 hours after checking out. After calling housekeeping a first time the location of the airpods moved from the hotel to a random residency. They were stolen almost immediately after calling to notify the housekeeping department that they had been left there. Hotel staff so far appears to not care at all. read more

We had my daughter's wedding here in May 2021, I believe it was one of the first weddings once they opened up events. It was an outside wedding, with the ceremony in the small garden, the cocktail and DJ in the patio and tables and buffet in the large garden area. I must say, we were extremely pleased with the planning, food and setup‼ It turned out to be a gorgeous wedding! Sandra was so helpful and patient. She made sure everything was laid out exactly as we wanted and was there to oversee things the day of the wedding. We looked at all the venues in town and we're so pleased we went with the Hyatt.
