So I didn't actually get my car serviced here, but I did want to give them a shout out for being knowledgeable, honest and thorough. I originally went to a different mechanic for a diagnosis of my Prius. Original mechanic said bad hybrid battery. Original mechanic quoted 3,800 k to fix. I said no thanks and called around and found Hybrid battery solutions was highly recommended and they quoted an almost half price. Took it there instead and the mechanic took a look at my battery and said no your battery is still good. It ended up being my brake actuator and I had to take it to a third mechanic but I appreciate the guys at Hybrid Battery Solutions for being honest, giving me a free hybrid battery diagnostic. They could have just gone along with the original garage ( completely wrong) diagnostic and replaced it but they took extra time to check the battery ( original garage cleared my error codes which is suspicious) they said my battery still has a bit of life left but I fully intend on replacing it here once it goes out. read more

The team worked on my Lexus RX450h today. I opted to get my battery reconditioned as I wasn't sure I was going to keep this car long term. I have 148k miles and thought my battery would go to 200k or more. There isn't alot of places that provide multple options for fixing this issue. 1. repair, 2. new other brand, 3. OEM Lexus/Toyota. They were very fast, and work past their normal hours so that my car would be ready the next day. After the fix, the battery level seems a lot more stable then before. He wants you to get what you need, as quickly as possible, and he'll ask you smart questions about how you use your vehicle in order to help you decide. Of course, he'll describe all the options available, too. He's got a nice website, but hasn't wasted a lot of money building himself a fancy storefront, so don't be intimidated or put-off by the no-frills appearance of his workplace. He is entirely focused on giving you what you need at a great price. I drive a 2006 Prius purchased used with low mileage in 2018. I drive all day for my personal business and was prepared to spend a premium to minimize interruptions and maximize peace of mind, but Rasti explained to me very clearly why that wasn't actually necessary in my case. Before I left, he also pointed out a common type of external body wear and tear that can result in damage to hybrid batteries in old Prius's, and how to fix it. On top of all that, I had realized after he was already working on the car that I had left my subwoofer (I know, subwoofer in a Prius, who does that? I do, I guess!) in the back and connected to the car. I called him to ask if I should retrieve it and he asked me if I knew how it was wired or had the diagram. I told him I could put it back in, no problem, and he said I didn't need to come get it. When I got came to pick up the car, he had not only put it back in, but it was all connected more neatly than I had left it. Please don't *expect* that kind of thing from him! But if he can, I suspect he will go the extra mile for you. He charged exactly what he had told me he would when I first approved the work. They ran the diagnostics and I found out the problem was a loose gas cap- the hybrid battery did not need to be replaced.
