I took my VW Tiguan for a transmission issue and the parts were on back order and he had to wait for over 2 to 3 month after paying out of pocket for my transmission and couldn't do anything about he made sure that I was taking care of. Similar to Chris L who wrote a review in 2015, I was hesitant to write this one now. I am an honest person and my initial dealing with Anvher was ok. I only went to the shop because it was the nearest I could tow my car to that accepted my TWG warranty. While the warranty group definitely does not want to pay one penny over what they deem is necessary, this time around, Anvher seemed to try and "play" with my intelligence and "play" on my unfortunate situation of being without a car. When the work was finally done (on a Saturday when TWG is closed) he told me I owed $538 and the warranty company $300....wait that seems backward?! He says no. I waited until Monday and learned he did work for the amount he requested as opposed to what was authorized. The company handled it and authorized the amount of $495 for an alternator (without labor!?) and I now have my car back. I truly feel he attempted to rip me off and accuse me of being unclear and unsure , he said, remember you were all crazy...... Give me a break!! My car stopped on a Sunday before Thanksgiving Break, I was leaving to LA and wanted to try to get a rental car. I mentioned this to him so he could hurry the contract with TWG and I get a rental car. If anything he should have tried to be friendly to me. Instead he flipped it on me when I went back to finally pay for and pick up the car. Long story short, I may have a good warranty plan but would NEVER agree to $835 for a new alternator labor and diagnosis without it and a $300 deductible.......That's absurd. He could of worked a deal with me to get all he could out of the warranty company, they are the ones with the money. Horrible service, my Toyota van overheated on the freeway, took the van to JC Auto when they opened Saturday morning. They called me Monday and told me, there's nothing wrong with the van. They kept my Toyota for another day, Tuesday and told me they test drove it. The van had the same odometer reading, when I left it. They charged me $75 for my van, that never tried to diagnose the problem. They're are the Cheech & Chong of auto repair and yes, they're still smokin. read more

I called J C Auto repair talked to owner and explained my car alternator belt is snapped due to accented and my car run by battery only. Battery is also depleted. Battery has enough charge to take my car 3 miles down the hills to your shop from home. I like you to take look and fix it. If it was not fixable, either please lets junk it or charge my battery that I can take it back home. He accepted my condition and I explained I am in a very desperate condition.He said no worries and come down. 1- First of all he decided to sell a car to me : -O what. I want my car fixed. I thanked him and said I can not afford any car at this time. 2- my car stopped literately 500 ft from his shop and he refused to help me. A Korean car stopped in heavy rain to help. An older Angelo lady came off her car to help to push my car. Fortunately my wife arrived and we pushed the car to his auto-shop. Owner was laughed at me and mocked me, free good work out people pay to get work out. I did not say anything in heavy rain. 3- JC Auto shop owner looked at my car and called me back and said it has more problem, I said OK lets junk it and He accepted it. when I was giving him pink slip of my car title, I thanked him and asked him polity please give me an id that I gave my car to you to junk it and as a release of document. I have to report back to my Insurance, and DMW and also Junk yard has to my wife as owner to junk my car and document it. J C Auto shop refused to give me any ID. He mentioned in frequent, car is not for his use. I understand but I have to have a release of reliability no matter how much I trust you for paper work. DMV and insurance and Junk tow company needs that. 4- He asked me to leave his shop and I said ok and asked him politely out of dispersion would you please charge my car. J C Auto-shop said no get out. His technician even said wait lets his car battery gets charged. He said no it is charge enough to get out of my shop. and he gave me a series of insult example: - here everybody is for himself.that is why people takes selfie - that is why insurance and credit card is for. -.... insult after insult about how people in America are I needed to post this review that people read and judge for themselves. 1- I used my insurance and credit card but I have to keep a car somewhere to wait. I end up across the street near fire water hook :- ( 2- I am from IRAN and I am living in this country and now my country for 17 years In New Mexico, in AZ and in CA. I traveled by car across USA from New Jersey through OH, through Nebraska, through TX through NM through CA, through ... My car has exploded tires, mechanical problem, people of race and ethnic helped me dearly independence of where i am . I've held out for more that a week before writing this review. I want to be as fair as possible so let me give you some of the back story. I have a 1996 Honda Civic that has 311,000 miles. I drive the car 16 miles a day strictly to get me to work and back. It has a variety of issues that I am well aware of but do not keep it from running reliably. My car began having an intermittent problem turning over so I decided to take it to JC Auto Repair. I've dealt with Avhner before and believed that I was dealing with a auto professional. He quoted me $85.00 for the diagnostic (that he waived when he decided to not work on my car) so I dropped it off hoping that he had a full understanding that I just wanted the issue at hand fixed. Four hours or so passed and I get a call with a quote of $850, I was flabbergasted. He told me that I needed a major tune up and the ignition relay possibly needed to be replaced. Possibly? I began asking pointed questions but could not get a definitive answer. What was wrong with my car? Avhner, really didn't know but attempted to hose me out of more money than I wanted to spend for repairs that I did not want or need immediately. I had my ignition switch changed for significantly less than what JC Auto tried to charge me and my car is back on the road running as smooth as ever. Customer beware, the things that we wanted to fix on my car do need to be addressed but had nothing to do with why I brought the car to him. read more

These guys were so wonderful today! I got a flat on 580 and this was the first place I found to use an air compressor. Well, my tire didn't re-inflate, so (unfortunately) I needed a new tire. These guys ordered me one and had it delivered and put on my car in about an hour from when I limped in. The shop isn't much to look at, but when you need someplace prompt, polite, and super helpful, I highly recommend them!! Thanks! read more

I had my car break down and towed to the nearest repair facility which happened to be this place! I was a little nervous as I didn't have a choice in my car being taken here, but Anvher walked me through everything, explained exactly what each part and action was going to cost and showed me the broken parts to make sure I knew why they were replacing each thing. Ive found the owner of JC Auto Repair to be of questionable ethics. I've taken my car in several time only to be charged their diagnostics fee then given a very high repair cost. Once I question the repair cost it is always evident that the cost can be brought down without all of the bells and whistles. I would never recommend this place to a woman or any person not familiar enough with cars to ask pointed questions. I did find their tire prices a good deal. read more

JC Auto Repair is the most honest auto repair business I have ever experienced. They services all of my needs for my BMW and my Mercedes. The prices are unbelievably reasonable when you compare the cost of getting anything repaired at a BMW dealership or a Mercedes dealership. Avner is always very patient in explaining whatever the problem is with my car. Even when I needed to drop my car off and return home or to work, Avnar or his assistant Carlos, happily drives me to wherever I need to go, and they will return later to pick me up.
