    The Hyde

Thank you to Christian who removed the bad taste this other manager in the picture left for us. He facilitated my birthday weekend , checked on us, and ensured all went well at our table . If it was not for him or Coach the security I am not sure Hyde would have had the nice ambiance it did on 2/3!

    The DJ killed it

Fun atmosphere, lackluster food. Will be fun if you are throwing a birthday party with loud vibes and cocktails like the champagne train. But for the pricing, the food just doesn't cut the mustard. Had the Hyde burger: stale tasting bun, under-seasoned patty, sauce was was too vinegary, and it overall was way too greasy. The fries were nice. Will give a shoutout to the waitstaff and the performers/entertainers. Good service

    Fried chicken sliders so good

Apparently people come here for dinner so that they can easily get into here when it gets crowded late at night. However, my friends and I came here around 7pm for a birthday celebration. VALET PARKING. Not sure how much it cost - I was super lucky and got street parking right by the restaurant (towing zone started at 10pm). Tapas style, so be prepared to spend $$$$ for small plates. We ordered quite a few items, but my favorite was the Fried Chicken sliders and the bone marrow. The sliders were served with bisquits rather than regular burger buns, which I loved! We ordered the brussel sprouts twice, so although I didn't eat any, it was a favorite among the group. Dessert and drinks were really good. We got some sort of chocolate cake and it was chocolate-y and moist. The atmosphere was very elegant. It was pretty empty around 7pm and started getting busy by the time we finished eating around 9:30pm.

This place is getting worse and worse. I already had a bad experience but I'm definitely not going back this time around. Very unorganized and selective. They randomly let some people in and randomly reject people based on their looks. We went to Hyde on 9/15 and upon approaching the security, we were immediately rejected and was told that "only people who have bottle service are allowed in" In summary, I do not recommend this place.

The biscuits were probably the best things we ordered

3.75 stars. Came here to meet out-of-town friends two weeks ago. 7pm on a Tuesday night was pretty tame - we were probably one of three tables, although by the time we left at around 9:30pm, there were about a dozen or so tables occupied. Good: - nice, loungey space. The fire pit area was a hit with my NY friends. - decent wines by the glass (great that they have Barolo by the glass - though it costs $32) - nice people-watching - our server was really nice - the photo booth near the bathrooms are super fun Bad: - I knew going in the food wouldn't be great so just be warned. It wasn't awful but you really shouldn't come here for the food. - a little pricey for the quality food you get.

The music volume was tolerable as well as the selection of choice. Felt like I was on vacation for a min. A great spot to have drinks. A great to spot to meet up or even come for a date. The Melrose Mule was cool. Very refreshing like the bartender mentioned. It was different than the usual mules I get. And the Improved Whiskey was like having an Old Fashion and Whiskey Sour together. It did not disappoint. I also had an attentive bartender who had a good attitude. Didn't take long for him to make my drinks nor put in an order for a smash burger. The smash burger was acceptable. It was good, however, I was expecting something a little bit bigger in size. I like the presentation with it being wrapped in foil. It was cooked perfectly, it was hot and flavorful. No complaints other than the size. I wouldn't mind pulling back up for another happy hour when I'm back in the area. They have some more drinks I would love to try.

We already have a solid pub/microbrewery but this is a great bar with a different vibe. A bar has been in this location for years but we really love this new incarnation.
