Went to Andys last night to see my friend perform along with several other artists for Noir Wednesdays. I am giving this place 4 starts because I love how they are supporting really incredible and upcoming talent. The performers were all so amazing. It was also quite the bonus to celebrate with Stevie Wonder on his birthday as he stopped through! The guests and performers were what made this place special, but otherwise nothing too notable about the venue. The bar food was just okay, the parking was tricky, and the staff was a bit standoffish. read more

No line so that was chill Showed up with three girls friends and one guy friend and it was easy to get in and there was no cover fee. Getting a drink was easy. The bartenders were super nice and very attentive. Bathrooms were really clean, just small, only two stalls in the ladies room. Dancing was limited. The live band rarely played, it was majority a playlist which was kind of upsetting. My friends made the vibes fun, but if it wasn't for them, this place is just ehh. A few entitled folks entered the building so we all left. In LA for a visit. Stopped by Andy's, had the chicken sandwich and chicken strips.Added a side of fries. Everything came out hot and fresh. Chicken was delicious with light breading. The sauce on the chicken sandwich was Fantastic. It was the best chicken sandwich I ever had. The place is a vibe and we got the full experience of the food and live music. The kitchen does close at 9:30pm. Our waitress was busy but on top of it. An experience you must try. It's small, cozy and I suggest a reservation. Loved it! read more

If you know, you know but if you don't get to Andy's. We went to Andy's after the Grove movie theater for an after party and the vibe was EVERYTHING. There's valet, but also street parking if you prefer. The staff is cool, the lighting is a whole mood, and the sections hit just right. Food and drinks on point. They have upstairs and downstairs and the dance floor stays PACKED that's where the DJs spin and the energy is crazy. Different DJs come through and do sets, so it's never the same experience twice. On the first floor they also have a live music area with drums and instruments, so you can catch live performances too. And the details? Awesome and cool!!! There's Photos of Anderson .Paak aka DJ Pee-Wee all around with celebrities, Grammy moments in the women's bathroom, a cool patio area, and a photo booth for those cute night out pics. So I went to a Lunar New Year dinner last month, and as it dispersed and I was about to hail a ride home, this guy Anderson, who I'd met at the restaurant minutes earlier, said some people were going to his bar to keep drinking and invited me along. I thought, fuck it, my kids are asleep, let's keep this Wednesday night going, and proceeded to get in this strange man's car. I learned, quite gradually, that this was Anderson .Paak, a very famous musician and the owner of Andy's in West Hollywood. He was also an excellent host to our afterparty crew, keeping us supplied with drinks from his trusty bartender. I had some unknown number of delicious spicy margaritas that match the description on the website for Mo's Malibu Marg: Cincorro Blanco tequila with yuzu and pineapple, available in a spicy version. The bar was cool and attractive, with a funky 70s aesthetic. We took over a few tables with plush seating. Andy's appears to be a restaurant during restaurant hours, and I'm guessing this was a dining area. I spent most of the night sitting down--the only way I like to party, to be honest--but hit the dance floor for a bit, which was pretty fun. There were a lot of people out on a Wednesday. The place was lively without feeling crowded. I have small kids and turned 40 in January, so this particular mom's night out was a delightful surprise. I know I had a somewhat atypical experience, but Andy's was a great spot to hang out and drink and cruise right past midnight. read more

Came here on a Friday night for my birthday celebration with the girls and everything was solid from start to finish. Shoutout Anderson Paak. We started at their bar while they were preparing our table. From the bartenders and servers to the musicians on stage, they were all lively and genuinely seemed like they enjoy their job. Our dinner reservations were before the crowd rolled in and by the time we were wrapping up, the place was packed and buzzing. The live music added such a fun energy to the night. The menu was simple and the food we ordered wasn't spectacular but it enjoyable all around. The standout for me was the hamachi crudo with asian pear! OMG, such a perfect pairing and beautifully balanced. Overall, I enjoyed all the lights, disco balls, the decor and vibe in general. Andy's is a fun spot I'd definitely return to. The place is on the more intimate side so I wouldn't suggest having a large group. Def the spot for a cute lil dinner with live music and a night out in WeHo. Stopped by Andy's West Hollywood on a Friday night around 9:30 after having dinner elsewhere. We arrived in between the solo and group acts, which worked in our favor--no line, and we were able to walk right in with no hassle. The space wasn't too crowded, so we grabbed seats at the bar facing the stage, a great choice for a relaxed view of the performances. The bartenders could've been a bit more attentive, but the drink pours were solid, so we weren't mad about it. A funk band hit the stage shortly after we settled in, and they kicked things off with great energy. We only stayed for a few songs, but the vibe was definitely fun and had the crowd engaged. Didn't try the food this time, but I'd definitely come back to see what their menu has to offer. Super cool bar that's within walking distance from all the gay bars in WeHo. Came on 4th of July around 5/6pm and it wasn't busy at all and didn't need a reservation. Drinks were amazing and the bar tender was super friendly and gave us lots of recommendations. There was food as well that we ordered, the Brussels Sprouts and Fries are a must have! Great vibe but not great service I'm a big fan of Anderson pak's music so I had high hopes for this bar. The ambience was great and the speaker music they had was great but the website and service could use some improvement. I couldn't find information about when the live music would start playing at the bar so I came early with my friends. When we showed up, at 8, the hostess told us the music wouldn't start till 10 so we walked around town before returning to the bar. After returning at 9:45 we had discovered that the live music had already began and was just ending. Really bummed to have missed the live show, we ended up staying for hours thinking that the musician might've just been taking a break and would've returned but he did not :( The sour here was pretty good and well priced Would love to come back again but please make your music schedule easier and clearer to find online! read more

Get ready to come here for all the vibes. Big Andy Paak fan here, so of course I had to come to Andy's during my trip to LA. It's suchhh a vibe. Picture disco balls, Anderson Paak and Bruno Mars wall art (sup Silk Sonic), talented live music that also turns into a DJ at night, and everyone having a good time. There's also a nice back area that's outdoors with a car photo booth. This area is great for catching a breather from all the dancing and you might as well snap some fun pics in the photo booth while you're at it. Apparently there's an upstairs too! Me and my boyfriend came here on a Saturday night and really enjoyed the ambiance of the place. The live music, the decor had a fun 70's vibe to it, and the food was very tasty! Our waiter was very nice and gave us the run down on how the place changes from a restaurant, to live music, to a club at the end of the night. Very cool! After dinner, we hung around for the live music and enjoyed the Deangelo tribute they did that night. Would definitely return and check out more food options and the live DJ. read more

About 8 o'clock on Friday night in Hollywood and wanted to go somewhere for Live music. This place was suggested so we headed on over. Since it was still fairly early, there was no line to get in. I don't think we paid a cover charge. The bar seating was full, but we got a table in the corner. There was a live band playing which was phenomenal and fun. The dance floor was packed while they were playing. There's a back patio which was super cool. Had a couple drinks and they're both excellent. I would absolutely hundred percent recommend this place and look forward to coming back. read more

We were up in Hollywood and I remember my son talking about this place before (he is a drummer and musician and admires Anderson Paak). Since we were in the area we thought we would stop by to grab a bite and a drink and surprise Jameson. Andy's is a really cool place, great vibes, excellent food and amazing staff. Located right next door to the iconic Troubadour too (Jameson played there as they were beginning to build Andy's). My favorite were the mushrooms, so flavorful and just the right amount to share and snack. Jameson got the pastrami bao and really liked them as well. My husband got the Tokyo fried chicken tenders, he said they were some of the best he has had. My old fashioned was good but I think next visit I will try a martini or one of their specialty drinks. The staff was fabulous, always checking in on us and making sure all was good. We also got to enjoy some live music during our visit which is always awesome. Seating was plentiful and comfy, nice big bar area pretty much in the middle and parking is not bad either. There is an option for valet, or plenty of street parking within a short walk. Think we will take Jameson up for his 21st in December, this way he can get the full musical experience (since he would not have to leave before 10pm). But hoping to get up there again sooner for sure! read more

It has an old school vibe and the chairs/couches are really comfy. They do serve food so I would go back and try it, but we only had drinks. I will the cocktails are not worth the price. Went on a Friday night with my girlfriend. Overall, the food was mid and subpar at best. Everything we ordered fell short of expectations: the chicken tenders, spicy rigatoni, and Thai calamari. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good. But for the prices we're paying, I'm expecting it to be good at least. Relative to the pricing, the food isn't good and not worth the money. We went looking for r&b, soul and jazz--as that's how it was marketed and promoted. And the first act was good, but the band didn't feel like the energy or vibe we thought Andy's was supposed to be. That being said, the band was still great and talented! We were just looking for more soul, blues and jazz is all. We were hoping the music and it being Black-owned would bring a more diverse crowd, but it was heavily lacking in diversity. It's a predominantly white crowd. The restroom is tiny with a restroom attendant that can't even fit into the bathroom. She was awkwardly standing half outside and inside, but there's no room for her to even stand. Drinks were strong, but also didn't taste that great--especially for the price they charge. The drinks in terms of glass, presentation, and taste were quite surprising. It's something I would have expected at a dive bar or concert venue--not at a nice restaurant. Honestly, my girlfriend and I were both disappointed in the overall experience. We felt like it was overhyped with not a lot of redeeming qualities. Might be better if you just come for just the live music. But avoid the food and drinks. I'm giving Andys 5 stars, but I was expecting a little more. It's more of a bar vibe than a lounge vibe. Lounge vibe meaning more seating. My husband and I had reservations at 7:30pm, so we had a table. I came hungry so was a little disappointed to see it was appetizers, tapas style, as opposed to entrees. Luckily, the food was great. We ordered the cucumber and seaweed salad, Korean spare ribs, chicken tenders, and fries. For dessert, we shared the chocolate cake. We ordered cocktails: Suede and Marg. Both were really good. When our 90 minutes were up, we tried to find a somewhere to stand. Andys is a small space and the bar takes up most of the space so there isn't much standing room. By 9:30p, the place is crowded. A pianist plays around 7:30pm-9:00pm and the band comes on around 10pm. As far as parking, you have to find parking on the street or you can valet ($25). Please note that valet isn't for Andys. It's for the place next door. And they only take cash. No Apple Pay. No credit card. No Zelle. read more

This review is strictly to explain my experiencing going: My two (girl) friends never had a table (we were standing the entire time, will explain why this matters later). Second, when I asked to close out my tab at the end of the night I was told "Someone closed out your tab for you" which is a really bad excuse for saying "I or another bartender closed out this tab for you". I had no idea what was charged on my card, I was NOT shown my total at all nor was I given anything to sign to signify my consent and add a tip myself. I asked for my receipt, and i see that i was charged as a large party (there was 3 of us) with a 20% gratuity added AND a $55.83 tip was added without my permission. It was not realistic nor feasible to argue about this matter on Saturday night with loud music playing and bartenders attending to multiple people at once, so i sent an email a few days later with an initial response saying "Thank you for sharing this. I have forwarded this to our accounting department for review and will follow up with you in coming days. We appreciate you joining us and for your patience while we investigate further." However, after that I was completely ghosted. I have attempted to make several follow ups but I knew that they were not going to resolve this issue, so sadly I am now here to inform the public since they did not want to solve this internally. read more

This was my first time attending a night here. Upon arrival I valet my car on the back ( valet is 25 us ) and I was escorted to the front desk for my reservation check in. We were promptly seated and the waitress was nice and pleasant. We ordered everything on the menu , they do have a very limited menu, so please do not come extra hungry as the menu is small bites like an upscale bar, not a full on dinner menu. Everything tasted delicious and I recommend the crudo and the fried chicken tenders. Drinks are about 20 us and very good as well. I had the Illegal mezcal. Besides the restaurant / bar this place offer live music ,live entertainment started about 10 pm and went on until 2:00 am. Excellent friendly hosts and servers. The vibe is that slow jams 70s cool. We loved that. The band was great and not so loud you couldn't talk. The food however is just cheap and superficial. It's like a menu made by a 20 yr old for 20 yr olds. Chicken tenders that are bland along with typical frozen fries from a bag. The bao didn't have much flavor either. The menu is designed to just soak up the alcohol that they hope you are buying lots of. Our 2 cocktails were just meh. Even their bar stock is cheap. Don Julio's and Bullet? Really? This is a place you should come with your friends for some drinks and to listen to the band. No need to worry about the food unless you're trying to sober up. Who wants to go have a drink, good eats and listen to some live music? ... me! We checked out Anderson Paak's new spot and it had such a cool and fun, loungy vibe. Perfect for a pre- party meet up or a nice after work happy-hour experience. The menu is rather light so if you are super hungry I suggest you eat before you come otherwise you would need to order a few items off the menu. Minnie was our waitress and she was so personable and even suggested the two dishes we ended up eating. The Tokyo fried chicken tenders were so fresh and delicious. I'll be honest, I didn't expect them to be as amazing as they were. They were crispy and juicy all at the same time. Minnie also suggested the crudo yuzu and that was so refreshing and it was a reasonable serving. We also tried the Mo's malibu margarita and the Yes Lawd! (which was vodka based.) I preferred the Yes Lawd! The music was so good. There were a few musicians who sang some jazzy covers the whole night. After a certain time it turns into a club type of vibe with a DJ. I think it's around 12pm but don't quote me. The spot isn't very big so keep that in mind as it gets pretty packed early into the night. We valet parked because the area doesn't have much parking at the time we went, around 9pm. I am a sucker for live music so you will see me there again. Pretty cool bar/lounge with an art deco retro vibe. My husband and I were celebrating our 1 year anniversary and decided to pop in for some drinks. We didn't have reservations but they were able to seat us at the bar which was nice. Drinks were pretty good. We ordered an old fashioned and lemon drop martini and then espresso martinis 8/10. Menu is limited but we decided to try the chicken tenders and fries 8/10, chicken was a little over cooked but still tasty and served with different sauces. Service was good and it got pretty lively for a Sunday night, we enjoyed the live music. My only dilemma is this, they had our card on file and charged us before showing us the breakdown of our receipt. Once the card was charged, we tipped and it texted us our receipt. We noticed they had already charged a $30 gratuity. We were very surprised by this and wish we had known they automatically charge gratuity for a table as little as 2. So just be aware of this as you're dining, there is also an entertainment fee. read more

Contrary to popular belief, West Hollywood does have nightlife gems in it that are inviting and worth your visit. However, Andy's is certainly not one of them. Andy's lives up to the worst of WeHo stereotypes: the wait staff is bratty, the food is nothing special, and everything is overpriced. I'll also add that their back patio is uncomfortable and unsightly. It's the perfect place for a night out with your closest friends who you secretly hate. They had no desserts available. They said they ran out the day before for the Valentine's holiday and apparently didn't restock. It was my birthday, and we had no desserts to celebrate. They were also out of an appetizer and pasta, so there were no vegetarian options. The waitress was running back and forth and had little help. The hostess was rude and after we spent 800 dollars, she said we had to order bottle service to continue sitting? There were no more people coming in for dinner and she was just impolite as some of us were still finishing eating. It is a cute place but there's a lot of areas to improve on. Vibesssss. Came last night on a date and had an absolute blast. The spot had only been open for two days and it was their first weekend but things went perfectly. Small venue (used to be the Doheny Room), and now that the cat's out of the bag, it will probably be impossible to get a reservation anytime soon (I tried making another one to take some NY friends, and they are booked out through the end of November). Tables are tiny so you'll have to do some gymnastics to get all your food set down and to be comfy in the chairs. Limited menu but you're really not here to just sit down and eat (though the food was actually good). Different bands and DJs so quality could vary but the one we had last night was so good (Midnight something). Will definitely make this a new go-to spot! read more

The DJ had his speakers blasting right near the bar and the female bartender did not have a very good demeanor and was just not pleasant, I ordered a glass of cabernet and so did my roommate and to add insult to injury, when I asked to close out, this rude bartender gave me a check for $60.00. I said this glass of wine is $30.00 a glass? And she just smirked. This was way too much for a glass of cabernet and just complete bullshit! My advise is to stay away from Andy's bar!!! read more
