I slammed on my brakes, and went in to check it out. Holy guacamole! Their hanging baskets are regularly $14.99 each, or $12.99 each when you buy 3, so 50% off made them $7.50 or $6.50 each! No joke. I ended up spending $90 and almost couldn't fit all the plants in my car. I thought I had plenty, then I was driving up Ryan 3 days ago, July 8, and saw a sign for 75% off. You have got to be kidding me?! Screetch!!!!! Pulling over again. This time I only spent $60, and again had a time getting it all into my car. This place is awesome!!!!!!!!!

Our landscape firm recommended that we go to Telly's to select a special red maple for an area on…read moreour property that is outside where our landscaper's work. We found a beautiful specimen, bought it and contracted to Telly's to plant it. This was in September of 2025. Now seven months later, the specimen is dead. We took pictures to the store and I spoke to the person who sold me the tree originally. He told me he needed to consult an "expert". I was introduced to another man who looked at my pictures and fairly immediately diagnosed that there was something wrong with our soil and that is what killed the tree. He indicated that their warranty did not cover disease. He showed me the treatment for the soil and explained how to do it. We spent $90 on this treatment. After consulting with our landscaper, there were several things that were suggested, but here's the most important one. The tree dying so quickly would suggest that the disease may have been in the potted plant's soil WHEN it was planted. The landscaper found it unusual that if the disease were newly introduced to the plant from our soil that it would have died so quickly. At any rate, we will never buy another specimen tree like this from Telly's. This experience really felt like a "setup" between the two employees. We had to speak to the guy who knows how to "sell" this whole soil disease excuse. As consumers, we were in no position to argue. We'd suggest that you be very careful buying an expensive specimen from Telly's and risking having your money go up in smoke in just a few months time!

The prices vary from the other local farmers nearby, but I can say that Ray Wiegand's nursery Guarantees their selection of flowers, plants, trees, shrubs and all items sold. Their plants are grown healthy and colorful as well as the hanging baskets and already grown in pots. The staff of family or friends who are working in many areas of the greenhouse or outside are always helpful and knowledgeable and ready to assist your questions about buying and planting plus offer guidance to problem plants that may be an issue with growing. The store also sells many statues, gardening supplies, outdoor furniture with monthly seasonal decorations for your home! I have been also very pleased with the quality and style made when purchasing in November a Memorial Christmas grave blanket for the cemetery. They had a wide selection of hanging baskets are varying price levels. I love how they have signage with helpful information such as the pricing for the baskets based on color of the tag or warning us not to plant outside too soon as frost is still an option. I was surprised how large this place was as when you see it off of 23 mile road it doesn't look that big. There were several different rooms all stacked with gorgeous flowers, plants or vegetables to plant. I also noticed this place is spick and span clean. There were plenty of carts/baskets to roll through and put your flowers in. I ended up buying one potted flower, a hanging basket, a potted assortment for the porch and a bag of some basic garden soil. My bill came to $100 (I bought the big combo flower arrangements) ; I was able to use a $10 off coupon bringing my total to an easy $90.00 I will be back.

Coming here's a pleasure because their not a huge facility like Bordine's or Lowe's. Parking's tight but doable you just have to be careful when backing out since it's literally on Auburn Road, which is super busy and the speed limit's 50 MPH. They have a great selection of items to choose from, and prices are competitive and fair. What keeps me coming back is the staff. Their super friendly and are extremely knowledgeable. They also have regular sales and keep up with seasonal stuff like pumpkins, Christmas décor and other stuff as well. They also stand behind their products so if you buy a tree or plant, I think they will credit you if it does die. Don't quote me on that, but these guys really do stand behind what their selling. Overall a fabulous little nursery in a world of big box stores, we love coming here for just about anything!
