We needed to have rain gutters installed but we also had a patio cover with a slatted top that was attached to the back of our house. So much water drained off of our roof that the covers on our outdoor furniture were being damaged by the standing water on them. A different guy (Kenneth) took over the business since I used Rob years ago (I was very happy then, why I called them for this job.) New guy is not good with communication and unreliable. Workers (not owner) showed up many hours late to install, brought wrong profile (after several emails correcting his quote/arrangements to the right one and him confirming) so was lucky I caught them just in time before install. Then not a single call or message (not even sorry we'll come back) until couple weeks later randomly got message they'd completed it. I was already getting other quotes since Hydro Flow had disappeared from the job. The 1 main detail about a gate hitting it was not correct. Couple weeks & several requests later he fixed it by tweaking the end up a bit. Once again, going on the property totally unannounced. He said it looked fine, but it actually looks tweaked. Took me several weeks to decide to just pay him and leave it as he had done it, and I did hear from him about the invoice. So he had 3 or 4 chances to please an easy customer, and failed every time. read more

We had them install rain gutters 7/3/20. After the first rain, the grade of the gutters had one rain barrel full, the other side about 1/4 full. I called and voiced my concern, Rob told me to wait for the next rain. Being a retired pipefitter, I know about grade. I had installed the old gutters with grade that was about even so that the rain barrels filled evenly.I have called ,left messages.....No return calls....I dont think they take grade into consideration , for more than 1 down spout...Disappointed read more

The house we bought had no gutters. We hired HydroFlow to design and install the gutters. Great communication working with them adjusting the design. Also they were the only company, out of three we quoted, who offered a very elegant and functional connection from a higher gutter to a lower gutter avoiding installing a spout right next to the front door and digging a pipe underground for the rain water. I called a few Rain Gutter companies in San Diego the middle of October and was astounded to learn that, although we live in a fairly "dry" climate, they were mostly too busy to estimate under a week or I just got Voice Mails. I was surprised when the owner, Rob, of HydroFlow called back and left a message... and then called again the next day to ensure he spoke directly to me... and Hydroflow was able to come by fairly quickly for a review of the work needed. He set the appointment to our schedule, in the next 2 days. The estimate took into consideration the unique style of the house and he worked hard to match the colors, even transitioning colors in certain areas, and all designed to blend in with our unique paint color. Additionally, he pointed out that placing the downspouts in other areas would open the design up in front, lessen the impact of downspout appearance and steamline our intended landscape design. He gave us several options, from a basic price upward and provided all details for each enhancement, why it cost more. He did not push the higher costing styles as he truly felt that they were not needed in compliment to our home design. Now, that's being honest! He scheduled the 3 hour installation to match my work schedule and the crew was prompt in showing up. They were all polite, professional and focused on their job. Thy worked to straighten some of our existing metal fascia and soon the new gutter was up and looked crisp, blending perfectly. The crew left no trace of their job site and we were left with exactly what we wanted at a very, very reasonable price. Fast, courteous and professional... Hydroflow provides a great product. I will in fairness mention that one other company did set an appointment to coincide with Hydroflow and were fair in their pricing but their 2 week out or more installation availability was not convenient for us and Hydroflow beat the price slightly with the exact same product. Outstanding Service and Top Quality Raingutters Recently we completed a remodel/addition to our home in Point Loma. To finish we wanted to install gutters that would blend with the new house. I called three well known and respected businesses in San Diego to get bids. Rob, the owner of Hydro Flow himself, was the first of all three to come out. The other two businesses sent sales reps. All three bids were for the standard colonial style gutters. Hydro Flow offered the lowest bid. After noticing an impressive flat faced gutter system on another house in the neighborhood; my wife and I decided to call all three businesses back to get a bid on the flat faced style.
