They seem very nice at the office, but when it comes time for the employees to do the job, it's consistently not so good. I've for a few years now asked them to do certain things, and they say they certainly will at the office, but it just doesn't get done. Major communication breakdown between the owners and the employees. Also, If you ask them to use different employees, they will say, 'no.' I've tried several times to work it out and speak with the manager. The employees just don't care about your yard. Full stop.

They also did quite a bit of cement work and built a patio cover. We recently had our slope cleaned up and everything was trimmed and fertilized. The 2 landscapers who did this work completed what we requested to perfection. Eddie did most of the trimming and another gentleman did most of the cleaning up. Unfortunately I didn't get his name. At the end of the day they completed our requests without hesitation and at a very competitive cost considering the terrain they had to traverse. I think this is all you can ask for. Grove Lawn Services worked in our yard several times a month for the last 5 months. They generally…read moredid a good job with lawn and garden care, and were knowledgeable. Their work was excellent, and the yard looked great! The value seemed reasonable. They have a website where you can post special requests, see receipts and future dates to work, and the payments are taken out automatically. They did several extra projects for us, such as planting new flowers and plants. Good suggestions were made to us. Originally we rated them with a score of 5. But there were several issues recently which were upsetting. There were several instances when we were told in person or in an e-mail that a specific project would be done on the next visit, and we would prepare the materials, then were told when they arrived that the project could not be completed, and that we would need to schedule a separate day for it (at an additional cost). We thought it was just a communication problem and starting posting a request on the website each time there was a special project, in case it needed to be completed on a different day. On our original walk through, we asked that everything be left as it is, and just trimmed. Several months ago, one bush which had always been round was formed so that it is now a square shape. We sent a text about it, and also mentioned it in person. No response. Then later, we gave Alex a picture of what it originally looked like and wrote a note asking that the bush be trimmed so that it looked round again. The response was that we did not tell him right after it was cut (which we did), and that we had not specifically specified that it be cut round on our original walk through (we had said not to change anything, as there were many different plants and bushes in the yard, and we could not specify that each needed to be kept as it was), and that the workers would always ask before changing anything (they did not ask). We were told that a specialist would need to be brought in to fix the problem. No apology was given, and it almost seemed as if we were being blamed, when the workers were the ones who had cut it into a square shape and had not asked us about the shape before cutting it. This would have been a minor issue, but instead turned into a big upsetting problem. Also we had been told that there would be a one hour arrival time window. They did send several reminders of the one hour arrival window, and a text saying when they were about an hour away. After several months of arriving within the one hour window, then for the next few months, the actual arrival time was always after the one hour window. Then we asked if the arrival time window could be changed to accurately reflect the actual arrival time, and were told that there was actually a four hour time frame, and that workers would sometimes run later than other days, and the time frame was not changed. We had never heard that this company had a four hour time window before, and would not have hired them if we had known. This also was a minor issue which could have been resolved easily. All of these issue could have been easily solved, but became larger issues because the responses and lack of apology. We decided to go with another company after these issues. We do not recommend Grove Lawn Services.

So I live on the border of spring Valley to San Diego in the Paradise Hills area and I had a…read morelandscaper coming to trim down my overgrown weeds in my yard when these people came I wanted them to clean up the backyard as well and after talking to this gentleman for a bit I found out they do a lot of other services..... The front yard was cleaned very well everything was picked up and taken away without any extra cost or anything I decided to contract with this company to have pour some concrete and landscaping work done in my backyard My backyard's not real big but my biggest problem was the unlevel ground due to a high amount of gopher holes.... They were able to put concrete in my backyard and along the side of my house up to a gate for such a reasonable price... So I also had some bricked in gardening beds that they were able to clean those out and put new dirt in them everything looks fantastic I can't even give If I could give more than a five review I would Anyways the backyard came out spectacular it's fabulous.... About 2 weeks after my backyard was done I decided to get some more work and I had part of my house reroofed because I do have some water leaks into my room edition..... They were able to modify the exterior roof so that it created a slope so rain would run off into a new galvanized drain pipe along the side of the house. They were even able to match my tiles for my roof to the right color.... again they were fast efficient took all the trash.... And then a couple weeks after this I decided to do the front yard as well I can't tell you my house looks 100% better on the outside probably 120% better I'm sure my neighbors are so happy lol.... I just can't say enough good things though these guys were very professional very efficient very quick great communication and very reasonable prices..... I definitely am going to give them a top review I will be using them again down the road because they actually do interior painting as well and that's going to be next my next job after the rainy season...... You really should try them out I was afraid at first and I'm so glad I took the leap like I said I just cannot even give them enough praises!!!
