Our home in LA was for sale 6 months in 2020 and only one person came to see it! Then we decided to put it in the market again and hire Hyelee. I used Staging Ave to stage my home at the suggestion of my real estate agent, who had worked with Hyelee in the past. He said the transformation is "remarkable"... and he is right. There was careful attention to detail in each room and a very nice flow throughout the house. In a few hours Hyelee and her crew: removed my furniture and art, decluttered each room and refilled them with color and texture coordinated pieces. And while I may not love some of the temporary art as much as my own, it grew on me over time. And in fairness, I can see how it made it easier for my buyers to see their family in my home... and less personal to my tastes. My home sold quickly at over the asking price, I had multiple offers, and lots of compliments. I would use Hyelee again and recommend her to my friends. If you consider the cost of staging compared to the typical price of a home or typical holding costs, the investment becomes very small.
