I got a hold of Hyland auto group about two weeks ago we went through with the credit application they had me have my fiancé apply to be a cosigner and I gave them all his information and then never heard back from them about my options or anything, kind of disheartening because I did everything on my part and then they promised to get back to me by the end of the day with my options. It's been over a week and I still haven't heard anything from them. I had the down payment, all my things in a row and it would've been nice to know if we were denied or whatever. bought a 2012 cadillac from them gave them 8700.00 in cash and a trade in and not long after buying the car the sunroof started leaking, call them to see if they will do something about it if they warranty there car nope you are out of luck now have to pay 2500.00 to completely replace the sunroof. This dealership sells lemons via predatory in house financing. David Hyland is a scam artist preying on people with no credit or bad credit. Their vehicles will pass a test drive, and then have catastrophic failures within a year. The dealership, and by extension David Hyland, does not stand behind their product. If you end up buying from them, be prepared to spend even more money on various repairs as soon as you drive off the lot. They are not an ethical dealership. Bought a van from them, one week later went on a trip in the mountains. Spent the day hiking when we got got back to the van to leave it wouldn't start and we were out of cell phone service ( me my wife and our 4 boys all under 7 years of age) 2 days stranded finally got help. Took the van in, they said it was probably the GPS, it stops you from starting if your out of range. I said fix it they wouldn't, so I left it there. Not going to put my kids through that. I got stuck with a $4500 bill for a van I didn't have for a week and they wouldn't work with me on another vehicle. After leaving it there they turned around and put it back on the lot for sale probably didn't fix the problem. If I could, I'd go back in time and tell myself to never buy from this place. David Hyland is rude, arrogant, and treats people like crap. As far as I'm concerned, David thinks I'm an innocent young "girl" who can be molded into thinking what he wants. Hyland is the place you go to be treated like a sack of dog crap. They had the audacity to sell a car that had MULTIPLE dangerous recalls that were announced in 2010 when the car was made. I bought the car in November, and last week the cars battery died. When we jumped the car and we're on beltline desperately trying to go home, suddenly the power steering fluid started pouring out, RPMs were in red, and I lost all control to brake the car. My boyfriend and I were lucky we didn't get in a crash and die. When I explained this to David Hyland, OVER THE PHONE, he had the audacity AGAIN to say it was "the alternator". I'm sure it was, David. Then when I asked what he was going to do, he said "well first of all, I'm not going to do anything." After some time from hanging up on him ( yes I did that because I can), my authorized rep answered when David called back. David was a complete jerk and refused to speak with him. He didn't ask kindly, or go out of his way to explain anything, he was just freaking mean. After I sent my email to voluntarily repossess the car since I almost died in it, and he sold me a lemon, he wrote back complaining about how I hung up on him, instead of being a professional like he claims, and accepting my email. He demanded I write a scripted version that he chose to voluntarily repossess the car, and I refused because I do not trust him, or anything he does. I had to freeze my bank account and get a new debit card because he said I would have to pay for towing fees. Hell. No. So that's that. David Hyland is a liar, and not worth your time. I would rather drag my genitals across a mile of broken glass and needles than look and speak to him ever again. If you think of Hyland, don't. They worked with me on a payment when I was on maternity leave. My 2010 Toyota Corolla was extremely reliable, low miles and in good condition with NO issues. I am 52 years old and was hurt on the job in 2011, it took mending time but I did a bankruptcy and it was discharged and my credit score flew up to "GOOD"! So now we can purchase a vehicle. Well after going to multiple new car lots 100% of them said they will need $3000 down for a $26000 truck but we only have $2000. After a week of this we went to this Hyland place, (can't call it a car lot because 100% of what they say online and on phone is 100% false). We found a decent $11000 SUV there and informed them of what we have gone through and they stated "not us, we work with you and have in house financing" which is 100% false. They than turned around And said "not us again", we work with everybody and we also have in house financing if all else fails" which is 100% false!! They than came back to me and said we r like the rest of the car lots, we also will need $3000 down or there's nothing we can do for you. I told him, "I only have 1500 down and if I had $3000 down I would've bought a NEW F150 for $31,999 which I was approved through Wells Fargo. I explained to these liars that your not a new car lot so you can't follow in their duplicate foot steps. They do not care. That are all deceivers, liars and minipulators that have NO back bone to be even somewhat honest. FTC here I come because my father in law works for that company. "Federal Trade Commission!!! We purchased a pt cruiser from them and have had nothing but trouble with it. This time we took it in, had an 8 o' clock in the morning appointment and by 1 that afternoon we checked on it and he hadn't even so much as looked at it! It took us going back up there 3 times before he looked at it. Then while he had it in the shop it completely died on them, they couldn't figure it out so he just gave up on it and closed for the day. And as for trying to work with you on stuff, you might as well forget it. No loaner cars or nothing while yours is getting worked on. And as for them saying that they'll trade with you in 18 months of having the vehicle, that's a bunch of shit also. They don't care about the customer at all! I bought a Chevy spark from them a while back and it had some issues with the transmission took it back to them the mechanic looked at it for free but told me he couldn't work on it there but suggested where I could get it done , took it to the Chevy dealer and it got done for free I wasn't happy with the car so I took it back to them explained what was going on and Kelley helped me out by getting me into a car that I wanted with no extra money down he did a really good job had some mechanical issues with the transmission that were due to a recall on the fords no fault of anyone's got it fixed because the car was still under factory warranty the interest sucks but you kind of have to pay for it having poor credit . I'm glad that they were there to help me get a 2014 car with low miles with my garbage credit. When I got the new car it was pretty cool they bumped my interest down . Yes the price was still high but they do what they can to help and still make money. I wouldn't look this place over if you have bad credit or no options to buy a car because they get you in one pretty cheap. All in all I don't regret buying my car there and the office staff is really nice !! We always joke around when I go in to pay my car payment. I think if they got their interest down to 19 percent for all the loans they would be in good shape that still allows them to line their pockets , because let's be honest who is in business to not make money .. no one because that would be a waste but it would be low enough to not completely mess peoples banks up :) hahah like I said all in all pretty good place :) read more

Do not buy anything from Hyland Autos. These people are all dishonest scumbags just trying to line their pockets without a care in world for their customer. These low lifes fix up vehices just well enough to make it through a test drive and off their lot. They are charging way more than what their vehicles are worth (many times 50% more). Look at Kbb.com if you dont believe me. On top of that they take advantage of people with not so good credit and stick them with a 29.99%APR loan which is damn near impossible to pay off and more than likely in a month or two after your purchase your really in trouble and stuck with a vehicle that won't even run! They will straight up lie to you just to make a deal. What they do here is borderline illigal and in my eyes it's just a matter of time before the BBB starts cracking down on them. These people are thieves and oughta be ashamed of themselves to take advantage of the not so fortunate. worst place ever!!!!!!!!!!! me and my wife went in to buy a car, and 9 days after we buy it, it breaks down in the middle of no where in 95 degree heat with our 4 children, (3,6,6,7) they were baking. when we called to tell them the problem they wouldn't send anyone out to help us. they told us to make an appt. everytime we called to make an appt. they forward us to a voicemail, and no one ever got back to us this happend 4 times. and when it came time to make our first payment they still didnt fix the car. it broke down on the way to make it and they still wouldn't do anything. david hyland is the biggest con artist i have ever met, taking advantage of people who are already going through a tough time. please don't go through them save your money up, or buy a private owner vehicle. read more
