I took my friends here after they wrecked their car. Their selection is about average for a used car dealership and about the price of used cars. They do have a few nice trucks. My friends fell in love with a GMC truck that rides great! Of course it takes forever for the paperwork (not the dealerships fault at all) but they seemed extremely happy with the deal and the owner of the dealership. Though I personally wasn't directly involved with the deal, just hung around until it was guaranteed they got the truck, I personally was very impressed with the customer service. When I'm in the market for a new (used) trucked, I will keep JL Auto on top of my list! read more

What I thought would be the best place for my husband, turned out to be the worst... for starters drove myself and my husband, two hours for my husband and to look at a truck, it was unlocked and the gauges inside of the truck were going crazy, no keys which is fine clearly they were closed when we left my husband was nice and tried to lock the doors they wouldn't lock, but we left a voicemail to them letting them know that the vehicle was unlocked. drove two hours home... Two days later my husband and myself both left work early, we got there after a long two-hour drive, my husband wanted it and he knew that for sure, the owner said he didn't know anything about it and supposedly paid "top dollar" for the truck we were looking at, So we were okay with the asking price for the vehicle, he explained the clutch problems but it was just the type of clutch and my husband works on them all day long so we didn't have any issues. They were about to close so we told them we would go do paperwork at home and they could call us when we got approved, however we did get approve a few days prior for the amount, but they still needed us to do the application which was whatever, and we did it anyways. The owner said one of his friends wanted it, and he was going to come by, and test drive it the next day so he would have first hit on it, which was weird, but it was a family friend is what the owner said. The guy didn't end up buying it, awesome cool for us. Two days later still nothing so we called they answered and said they would go everything, so we could do everything that was left to finalize the truck so we could drive two hours again and get it. We didn't hear from him or either of the two Ladys who worked in the lobby my husband shot them a call, guess what no answer, waited a few hours, tried again, nothing. I had one of the girl's personal emails. Sent an email to at least get a checkup to see if everything was done because we had proof, we got approved for the vehicle loan. Now here brings us to today, November 7th, I called them 1030 or so no answer I left them a voicemail because they were open. At this point my husband and myself are extremely disappointed and frustrated. My husband called at 150 Ish straight to voicemail, pathetic. My husband is extremely upset and frustrated at this point we know we got approved by the bank and dealership and we were ready to go get it at this point, we were going to get off early to go back down their and do it all in person because we had no hope of the two girls in the office they weren't doing very well and being quick classy. My husband made one last call before deciding to go down there and one of the girls decided okay well answer now at 3:45, before we decided to say fuck these employees, they are being trash well just go in. The girl who spoke to us said that someone had just came in to the lot, to test drive the truck we wanted knowing we already had approval, anyways the person who came in liked it and wanted it and put a deposit on it to hold it after we already had multiple approvals. So they sold it out from under us, that's cool. way classy JL Auto. I have always had my eye on this lot because they have some beautiful vehicles, and my husband thought he found the truck. but they clearly didn't care because we weren't in store?! Oh well I'm extremely disappointed in this place, because of multiple approvals and they lacked to tell us anything? We want people to be aware of what they may potentially do to you, even though looking and speaking with the people who had bought vehicles from them we decided to try to give them the one up to try to prove themselves, definitely should've listened to everybody else. I had a lease I had to return, and my needs in vehicles have changed since we moved to a home that needs some remodeling, as well as playing in a few bands that require me to bring a lot of equipment to shows. So I had decided I needed a truck, but wanted something at the price point I could afford without increasing my monthly budget to cover a vehicle. We found JL online and saw a lot of nice trucks for reasonable prices on their website. After a few visits, looking at and trying out a few different trucks, we found one that we really liked. JL put new tires on it, changed the oil, fixed a few small items, and gassed it up for us on purchase. I was able to finalize the loan over the phone and just had to sign a few DMV and insurance papers before being done. The whole process of buying took just a few minutes. JL didn't pressure me to do anything and I had a fantastic experience with them. Next time I am in the market for a truck, I will definitely look to them first! read more

This place is a joke. They sell products that they have no idea what they cover. Such as LTV, the amount it cost for the product and what it covers. They also called it GAP insurance and unfortunately it is not. It covers essential what insurance MAY NOT pay on the balance of their loan. They are a dealership and act as if they are underwriters or loan officers. Every time we have gone to their establishment I have had to call to have someone come out to assist me. read more

This is the absolute worst place to buy a truck from! I drove 2 hours to buy a truck from them and they were very responsive and were great during the the whole buying process. I left the dealership feeling like I got a great deal and had the best car buying experience I've ever had. That quickly changed as the next day my engine light came on with a code for the def tank heater. It was covered by gmc by a special extended warranty they had so that wasn't that big of a deal. Week goes by before I'm able to get it into gmc and it rained. Noticed it was leaking water in the cap in the front and back. Took it to gmc and had them do an oil change and multi point inspection check the breaks and batteries. Brakes started squeaking and I had to get jumped one day. It ended up needing over $4500 in repairs. They deemed the truck unsafe to drive and said it would have to fixed or towed in order to leave the shop. Front rotor were cracked and an oil leak was fixed by using Silicone which gmc had to take off to replace the filter. Both batteries were bad. $400 Oil leak was fixed by Silicone $950 Water leak from back of cap $930 Didn't get quote for leak in front on both sides. Windshield not sealed right. Front and back rotors and pads $1700 Oil change $110 Sensor was bad for park Assist $230 Then cost to find the issues and taxes JL auto agreed to help me out after trying multiple times and ways to contact them after they knew about all the issues. They were going to pay for the oil leak and send me new front rotors and pads. However it took twos days of going back and forth with them to get them to pay gmc I'm definitely thankful they helped me out back it was so stressful trying to deal with this whole thing. I will never buy from these people again and would strongly recommend anyone that's thinking about buying from them to go somewhere else read more

Beware my truck came from Canada. The winters are very hard on vehicles and the use salt on the roads. My truck had multiple problems and they took care of a couple but I was told the rest was on me. Get a Carfax report. They are great guys but after paying 35K I expected more. read more

Bought a Diesel from these guys last November and within the first two weeks of driving it I encountered nothing but problems. Rear/front main seals were bad, ball joints were bad, clutch burnt up in no time, the batteries were shot. The warranty they sold me refused to do any of the work they said they would do. My husband and I bought a truck from JL Auto Sales and had a great buying experience! There was a part not working in the truck after we got home, and they were quick to get it into the shop and paid for it to be fixed. When we bought the truck we also bought a warranty for $3500.00. Upon taking the truck to our mechanic, we were told multiple things that needed fixed on the truck; a lot of it being covered under this warranty. When our mechanic called the warranty company to file the claim they said they had not been paid yet. We called JL Auto and they assured us they would get a check sent over that day. A few days later our mechanic again called to file a claim...the warranty still hadn't been paid! So two months after purchase we are still getting the run around, no calls returned, and still need our truck serviced. We called a different number, from a different number, and reached another sales person who assured us the original sales person would return our call when he got off the phone....then changed his answer in the same conversation saying that original sales person would return our call when he was back in the office. We did get a text soon after from the original sales person stating he had just paid the warranty...but wasn't it paid over a month ago?...and would that number be a good number to text a receipt to. We said yes. Still, nothing has been received. The next day our mechanic attempted a claim again and it still hadn't been paid. My husband called JL Auto and we still have not received a call, a text, or an email. I'm reading reviews and it seems a lot of issues have occurred after the sale of the vehicle. I would not recommend this company to anyone! I've left out names respectfully, but this is some of the worst customer service I have ever received. Are they screening their calls? Are they hoping no one tries to use the warranty before it expires? Anyone else with similar stories? read more

Drove two hours to pick up a 2015 Jeep Wrangler that was priced great. I was very pleased that they stayed open to accommodate us....guess they really wanted to dump the jeep and now I know why. I took it to my dealer and wow, did I get screwed. Thousands and thousands of dollars later, I am back up to full price and am very frustrated that I trusted a small dealer and didn't go with a big dealer that I already knew and trusted and had mechanics on site that actually looked at the car. They assured me their "guy" looked at it and it was great! From the frayed windshield wipers, to the metal on metal back brakes, to the rear differential replacement with broken gears and metal shavings in the fluid, to the stereo that didn't work for bluetooth due to issues with the unit itself and on and on. Oh, and the tire sensors were showing low pressure on the dash...but they had just put on new wheels/tires so they "knew" the tires were good yet they didn't notice there were no sensors on the tires? Really? how do you miss that? at @$100 per tire, no wonder they left those off. Guess I was the sucker of the month! read more

If I could I would put ZERO STARS!! This is the worst dealership ever! What a joke the first day I got my 07 diesel Dodge Ram right after I brought it home the problems began. The front axle joint and hub was broken which JL fixed THANKS! They also promised to fix the exhaust that wasn't on the truck when I bought it but all they did was buy the wrong replacement part I tried to explain this to them but they just said they were only covering the part but the exhaust they got was for a 5.9 motor and mine is a 6.7 so you can imagine things wouldn't line up. On top of that the truck is FULL OF RUST underneath the truck which they tried to cover up. I also have replaced the steering arm, the alternator and I replaced two turbos this week because it keeps blowing them up. On top of all of that the brakes and ball joints are completely shot. I have dumped so much money into this truck. I just wanted a big enough truck for my family to fit in and be able to tow stuff but I'm just screwed in a truck I don't trust. read more
