This is the absolute worst place to buy a truck from! I drove 2 hours to buy a truck from them and they were very responsive and were great during the the whole buying process. I left the dealership feeling like I got a great deal and had the best car buying experience I've ever had. That quickly changed as the next day my engine light came on with a code for the def tank heater. It was covered by gmc by a special extended warranty they had so that wasn't that big of a deal. Week goes by before I'm able to get it into gmc and it rained. Noticed it was leaking water in the cap in the front and back. Took it to gmc and had them do an oil change and multi point inspection check the breaks and batteries. Brakes started squeaking and I had to get jumped one day. It ended up needing over $4500 in repairs. They deemed the truck unsafe to drive and said it would have to fixed or towed in order to leave the shop. Front rotor were cracked and an oil leak was fixed by using Silicone which gmc had to take off to replace the filter. Both batteries were bad. $400 Oil leak was fixed by Silicone $950 Water leak from back of cap $930 Didn't get quote for leak in front on both sides. Windshield not sealed right. Front and back rotors and pads $1700 Oil change $110 Sensor was bad for park Assist $230 Then cost to find the issues and taxes JL auto agreed to help me out after trying multiple times and ways to contact them after they knew about all the issues. They were going to pay for the oil leak and send me new front rotors and pads. However it took twos days of going back and forth with them to get them to pay gmc I'm definitely thankful they helped me out back it was so stressful trying to deal with this whole thing. I will never buy from these people again and would strongly recommend anyone that's thinking about buying from them to go somewhere else

Nice stand up guy who stands by his word. He really did his best to help us out. I'd highly recommend doing business with JL Auto Sales.

I would avoid this dealer at all costs. I'm not going to go into details but suffice to say, the customer service sucks.

So when we moved to Oregon we really didn't know if we could have such an effortless and ideal experience. I found Oregon Roads online and read all the reviews. We decided to call them to get a feel of what their service would provide. Joy Rose was exactly what we were looking for. She was professional and understood what what we wanted. Leasing from her went smoothly. We traded in our older vehicle and we got the exact car we wanted in the color we preferred and at the price that matched our budget. Flawless and terrific customer service. We highly recommend this company.

Every experience has been so much better than any of the other places around town. While they don't have the service department or the huge lot of vehicles, the process with them is pressure-free and friendly. Also, you don't spend a whole day at the dealership if you buy from them, they know what they're doing and don't waste time going back and forth between buyer and manager or whatever it is the larger places do to drag things along. They also won't push you to buy something you don't need. Every time we've been there, they've waited awhile before approaching us, letting us look at vehicles without feeling like you're going to be accosted by a stereotypical salesperson as soon as you park on the lot. Also, if you're looking for something really specific, they do offer to do the searching for you and will get you the car you're looking for, if you can't find it here right away. I recommend Oregon Roads all the time!

SEXIST CON-ARTIST SELLING DEATH TRAPS. I purchased a…read morevehicle here on Sept.8 2022. I used in-house financing because I am in the process of starting a mortgage and couldn't put the car on my credit. I test drove the car, shared concerns about the brakes and low tread on tires. The sales person assured me he would check the brakes and the tire condition was fine. I clarified that I use the car for Uber and travel all along the western states for my other job and that the tires and brakes were very important. I was assured a second time that the tread was over 50% and that the brakes would be inspected before I picked the car up. Flash forward to two days later and 400miles from home when the brakes are grinding so loud other drives are looking when I stop. I had no choice but to drive home in that condition, very scary and dangerous. I called the owner(not the sales person) and was told the brakes were fine and I was lying or confused. Sexist. I know what bad grinding brakes mean. When I got home I took the car immediately to our trusted tire and brake shop where I was told the car could not pass inspection due to the tires being totally bare and the brakes being so bad that the rotors and pistons had to be replaced as well. When I called to discuss this with the Motor City, I was yelled at and told there would be nothing done, the brakes and tires were fine and the brake shop and I were lying. He told me to drive the car to him so he could see and I told him I would not drive it until it was repaired per the mechanic insistence it not be driven until repaired because it was very unfair to drive. I did tell him he was welcome to go inspect the brakes and tires at the shop and he refused but did call and scream at my mechanic as well. The owner of this business is unprofessional, sexist and possibly a con-artist. No offer of restitution has been made and I will not be using this dealership for the two other vehicles I was buying the fall. I highly recommend NOT using this business for any reason. I look forward to them going out of business soon, that type of service and false advertising won't fly for long around here.

Well, my experience with these guys was significantly better than the review below…read more I saw a few of their cars online that I liked. Went in and test drove them around. Jeff (owner) asked for a copy of license and phone number. I liked one of the cars but wanted to sell my current car first before purchasing. He didn't harass me with calls. After a few weeks I sold mine and went in to finish up the deal. Unfortunately the rig I was after had been reserved with deposit by another party. He did have another which was similar. I test drove it, went over it a few times, and liked it well enough. We talked on price and met at a mutually agreeable point - not a great deal, but not a bad one either. He showed me the auction invoice and paperwork (from Brasher's auction yard); something he didn't have to do. I requested that they fix of couple small items for me and swap wheels/tires with another car on the lot. They did so with no problem. We were trying to finish up and they'd pulled (and drained) the gas tank to fix the fuel gauge sending unit. They didn't have any gas on site so I had to get a gallon on my way back from the bank. A bit of a pain; I'm sure they'd have gotten it themselves if I'd wanted to wait another day or two. It's a small lot and they've only got a couple people working at any one time, so if there are other people shopping you might have to wait a bit or come back later like I did a few times. Also, they take cards, but charge a 3% fee (not unusual). I'd have liked to pay with a debit and gotten frequent-flier miles. Ah well. Regarding Darin's review below, I wonder why you went ahead with putting a deposit on the car after all the issues on the test drive. I'm the last one to defend used-car salesmen (not exactly the most reputable profession) but c'mon, caveat emptor!
