I was pretty nervous coming here as I don't know much about cars and have had some interesting experiences with auto shops in the past. I was pleasantly surprised with my experience however. I brought it in first thing in the morning and they called with an update only a few hours later. They got straight to the point and told me exactly what needed to be fixed, how much it would be, and how long it would take. They gave me constant updates throughout the day and I was even able to pick it up the same day. I especially appreciated how they didn't try and scare me into fixing a dozen other things like other auto places have. I have an older Lexus and I need to have service I trust - I don't use random franchises with inexperienced staff for my oil changes, and I trust that using a regular mechanic shop with records of what services my car has received will make for a longer life for my car. I was concerned about a noise I heard and had it checked with a road test when I also had my oil change. It turned out that it was probably road noise and I didn't need to worry further about this at this time. I also will be getting my Nissan Leaf serviced here as the dealership staff quoted me for a radiator flush - no radiator in a Leaf. My check engine light came on, and I had been told by Jiffy Lube that my transmission was going to fall apart immediately due to not having a transmission fluid changed, so I decided to give Euro-Asian Automotive a try to check my light and take care of the fluid change. They exceeded my expectations. I called on a Monday, got an appointment for Tuesday morning. They were friendly, courteous, and just had incredibly customer service - they even took my car keys off the ring AND put it back on for me, a small gesture, but much appreciated all the same. Not only did they do the two simple services I requested, but they also gave my car a free inspection and let me know about some issues they found that they thought I should fix at a later date. I was impressed with their honest and integrity. They did not try to upsale me on fixes my car didn't need immediately even though they could have easily made my issues sound more dire than they were like many other companies do. Last week I took my car into this establishment for repair. The repair would take approximately half a day. With that in mind a loaner car was offered, which I accepted. I get in the loaner car to discover that it is running in empty. I put $10 of gas in the car so I get get to my meeting and home to wait for my car to be done. When I returned to pick up my car, presented my gas receipt and paid the $759 for the repair. At no time did they even offer to reimburse me for the gas I put in their loaner, though they benefited from the purchase. I was brushed off with the remark that generally the car isn't returned with gas in it. Really, unacceptable. The other issue I had was my request to clear the Service B light on my car. Before leaving that morning I discussed this with the mechanic, was assured he would check it out and call me with what needed to be replaced. I received no call but did receive a charge of $220 for the Service B. For these reasons I will not use nor recommend their auto repair services in the future. read more

This place is amazing! We recently purchased a used Smart Car, about two months ago. The car wouldn't start and I was stranded at the mall. We had recently heard that EuroAsian actually works on Smart Cars. The only other places I know of are Mercedes-Benz of Portland and Medford. Mercedes-Benz of Eugene doesn't even service them. Anyway, we gave Ryan a call (who is awesome, by the way); he had a tow truck to us in less than an hour. A loaner car was waiting for me when we arrived at the shop. In a couple of hours, we found out it was the fuel pump. Part ordered, replaced, all covered under my 90 day warranty (thank the good Lord) and my car was done within the exact time frame originally estimated. Let me first say that I think this place does an excellent job. However, you're going to pay much more for services here. So my advice is (and I know quite a bit about cars), if you have a repair that is very technical go ahead and take your car here and pay extra. The job will be done right and you'll be happy. However, if you have a job that isn't that difficult (i.e. brakes) I would definitely shop around because you can find a place that is much cheaper that does a great job too. read more

Have been going to Euroasian since 2007, trusting them with my non-profit salary to provide me with the best car diagnostic work rooted in truth and consciousness. My experience with them has been positive till now. I have still nothing but positive things to say about the employees there and the person running the joint, but my issue is with the actual owner, which is extra disappointing. I brought my car there after it began to loose power on the highway. It was like the gas pedal stopped working and would fail to accelerate for about 20 seconds. The guy called to tell me to fix a whole bunch of small, old car maintenance issues, which I fixed a portion of just to humor them, hoping it would fix the problem and go figure, it did not. I called to challenge them on this and ask if they had checked the fuel pump pressure and the guys working in the car transferred me to the owner. The owner then proceeded to talk down to me and give me this awful, sassy reply regarding my challenge stating, "When you go to the doctor for a headache they don't do an MRI right away blah blah.... *Insert condescending tone* instead of admitting they didn't know what the heck was wrong with my car, they immediately went to general fix it stuff and got pissed when I asked questions and challenged why they didn't check certain things. THEN, because I stopped him in his sentence and told him he was being condescending to me and I felt I wasn't being taken seriously because I'm a woman, they made me go in to sign a contract before they would finish fixing anything. This, to a client who has been going there since 2007? Wow, as a customer I have every right to learn about my car, ask questions and challenge why they do certain things. This is called being an INFORMED CLIENT. Hoping the owner was having an off day and this isn't how he treats other clients like me who want to learn and be informed. Since then I took my car to another awesome place, where they admitted they didn't know what was up, researched different possibilities, communicated with me, and offered to let me watch them work in the car. read more

I love cars. Unfortunately, while in law school, I do not have the opportunity to do alot a work on my car myself. In such case, I would Iike to take my car in a mechanic who I can trust not to rip me off and do the job right in a timely manner with a smile on his/her face. I had such a mechanic for my car when I lived back in Los Angeles. It took me a while to find such a mech here in Eugene, but now that I have found it, I feel like I have hit the jackpot. I first visited this place when I owned my Acura to get a oil change. Now, with cars, I am a little snobbish, so I like to put in my own oil and own filters. In the past, I have run into some shops who will not change my oil for me if I request to use my own oil and filter. Not at EuroAsian. Not only did they comply with my request, they did it with a smile, fast, and at a fair price. I appreciated this and I remembered this. On my second visit, I brought my other car, a BMW to the shop to get the thermostat replaced. BMWs are generally expensive to maintain, and being a law student, I like to do my best to cut cost with driving this car, while at the same time treat this car with the respect she deserves. EuroAsian replaced my thermostat without any hassle or hustle. They informed me of another issue with the car they notice, but that was it; they informed me and did not try to push me into getting the work done. In fact, they informed me that I would be good for a while with the problem but that it would be wise to get it fixed soon. Because of this frankness and professional work they did with the thermostat, I returned to the shop and had the subsequent work done on my car. When I compare price points of the type of work I had done, I certainly got fair and even somewhat discounted deals. Considering how particular BMW work can be, I was certainly appreciative of the fast and honest approach of Euro Asian. The shop is certainly my place to go for my automotive needs for my duration here in Eugene. read more

He called at four and they had finished, arranged someone to pick me up and I was on my way. A wonderful shop with honest, good people. Chad and Ryan are both very helpful and took good care of me. I'm glad I took my Jetta here instead of going somewhere else. It had 4 check engine codes and instead of throwing parts at my car they recommended the correct oil and were able to fix all the problems for just the cost of an oil change. The car runs better than ever now, and it turns out I've been using the wrong oil for ten years. The shops that don't specialize in European cars constantly use the wrong oil and may have charged thousands which wouldn't fix the problem. They also saved my life by pointing out that my brakes were at 5% which I'd have never known had they not gone out of their way to check safety components.
