Broken wheel for kids to use. Sad

Today was my 3rd time here with my son. Such a cool idea to have this indoor play area and so much fun, however, today was a different experience. We got there at 9am, their opening time...no one was there. Doors locked. No employees and lights off. Another mom was there with her kids also and she called them and talked to management I think? 15 mins later an employee speeds into the parking lot. Happy they were open, but not very professional. I was hoping that going right at 9am when they opened that it would be the cleanest. I don't think they've cleaned in a while. Gum on the floor, tons of hair and crumbs, dust, ripped equipment....It's really gone down hill since I've been here last. Not sure when I'll be back with my son again. I hope it's cleaner next time!

No. No. NO! I came here for a child's two year birthday and brought my daughter to celebrate and have fun. I must hate unorganized entertainment because this was short of pure chaos. 1. We got there early to help set up the room for the party, and they informed the hostess that her room wasn't ready yet even though her reservation started in 15min. So we waited for them to kick the other people out and clean everything up. We got access to the room 30min later (so now the party started 15min late), and they were cleaning up and setting up in a speedy way (no, this isn't good). Crumbs and wet spots were on the floor. Tables didn't match the same sizes for you to place your items on. The tables were basically some card tables, which served its purpose, but they could have been the same sizes for uniformity. 2. As for the environment: People bring their kids in for just a fun day, but also for parties. It has the cool idea, but once again...unorganized. They split up the sections for bigger kids, small kids (above 2yrs), and a section for 2yrs and younger (my daughters level). You would think they would have some sort of This place was just bad. All bad. What makes it worse is that it has potential, but some things need to be changed in order for both sides to benefit.

We were in town and found this place. It's perfect for a rainy day. Prices are online and it's all day access. Which is nice bc a lot of kids gyms have a 2 hour or so limit. We were able to actually leave and have lunch, then come back. We stayed 4-5 hours. My kids loved it. There's a ton for them to do and they didn't get bored. I really liked how adults were allowed on most of the attractions too. The staff is extremely friendly and despite these previous reviews, I thought they kept the facility very clean. Yes, some things are not the prettiest but it's a kid gym where parents let their kids do what they want. The employees can only take care of equipment to an extent. I wish this place was closer to us because we def want to return.

amazing location and great for little kids . looks just like candy land inside and was so clean . staff was very friendly and helpful i'll definitely be returning when i come back in town

Hyperkidz has gone downhill pretty quickly. Multiple sections are broken or in disrepair and have been so for the past several months. 1. The dolphin carousel: kids are pretty rough on this so guess what happened - it fell out of alignment and now must rely on someone to push it manually. 2. The suction tubes in the ball pit area: these have been in need of repair for over a year. It used to be that you could use your hands to cover up the hole so the balls get sucked up. There are two and neither works even doing that. That renders the whole pulley and maze/path unusable. 3. The ball blasters: one works but there are 7 that don't. All these balls go missing too and even the broken ones are stuffed with ball pit balls that clearly are too big to be shoved in there. 4. The ball hover thing: real technical, but this is the thing that should shoot out air and if you put a ball on top the ball rises. I'm not sure this has ever worked. 5. Balloon "room": not so much broken but there's no balloons. I know this is meant for balloons due to the big fans and the same exact setup at Jolly Yolly Kids, which does contain balloons. 6. Glow sticks/ice cream truck : missing all but 6-8 glow sticks and no play food in the truck. 7. Block area-this is where my son loves to play most but these are so gross! Every block has been bitten many times. They do have a new feature but only for older kids. It's a tall mountain climb with a rope and at the top is a slide, but instead of building new things, the should repair the many features in desperate need of TLC. Hyperkidz used to be over favorite spot and worth the 50 minute drive but there is no way to justify the drive and the price, which has increased despite the quality of the facility going so downhill.

It was amazing to be a Sunday it wasn't that full. And it was clean staff was cleaning around. They let parents go in most of the ride with the kids, and even go with your kids in the slide.

This place gets five stars for the amount of fun it provides kids. However, waivers, birthday organization, and security is lacking. For example, any kid that plays here should have a waiver. No one even asked us if we had signed one or even mention it for that matter. We advised we were there for a birthday and they didn't even ask which one and just handed us wristbands. I understand this could be a staffing issue, but with the amount of money this place takes in per kid they need to hire more help if they can't handle weekend crowds. We paid for one of our kids who wasn't part of the birthday party but they didn't even bother to ask - I'm sure they lose money from people all the time that take advantage of them being overwhelmed. Security is another concern here because there are several exits and no alarms on the secondary doors. They don't even check in parties to know which kids belong to which adult - this is as simple as stamps like Chuck-E-Cheese does. So while it's a great place for the kids and they have a blast, there is definite room for improvement here.

    Inside, spacious...

BLUF: Don't waste your money, run-down, lots of safety concerns. Soooo y'all ain't missing anything... this HyperKidz is rundown, not well maintained, things are broken everywhere, some safety hazards (see photos) and NO security/monitors in or out (nor wristbands you're used to seeing at other indoor playgrounds). Not worth the hefty normal price tag or even the cheap one.

My son kept repeating the phrase on the wall "the first playground where I never have to say sorry" or something to that effect. He had a huge smile on his face the whole time and it was so amazing to watch him have fun in a sensory safe, calm environment. For most of the visit, it was just me and my two kids so not too noisy which can be a barrier at indoor playgrounds at times for us. He did not want to leave to go home and that's rare for him! Open play is $22/child with $20/ additional siblings for two hour time slots that can easily be reserved online. Typical open play is Sunday 10am-6pm and Friday-Saturday 10am-7pm. Memberships are also available. The gym includes suspended equipment with various types of swings, crash mats and pillows, a zip slider, a trampoline, a small Mario-themed climbing wall, monkey bars, a climbing mountain, a rope bridge, a hammock swing, and a rolling bar slide. Outside of the equipment, there are imagination stations-a vet, a doctor, construction, a kitchen, and a Target store playset. Also a train set and an exercise bike. Lots of various balls scattered about and a separate area for infants and toddlers with lots of toys and a small slide. There is also a separate arts and crafts area and a book nook. In a separate room-the teen room-is a basketball game and air hockey plus lots of puzzles and games and additional sensory squares. Many indoor playgrounds become overwhelming for one of my kiddos and a unique feature here is a calming room with soft lights, weighted blankets, and large pillow chairs. The staff was so kind and helpful too. They were cleaning regularly and offered treats to the kids when they were upset our two hours were up. I wish there was a closer location but this is an amazing resource and we will visit again soon (as in tomorrow)!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a stunning welcome sign and balloons, which immediately made us feel both taken care of and truly celebrated. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making the day not only stress-free but genuinely special for everyone. As a working mom juggling a side business, I cannot express how much I appreciated the simplicity and ease the team provided. Our guests were thrilled, especially since we were able to enjoy both indoor and outdoor playtime. It was fantastic watching the kids explore, laugh, and make memories in a space so well designed for fun and connection. We regularly visit Wonder for playdates with our littles, and it never fails to deliver a delightful experience. The staff is always warm and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages families to truly unplug and reconnect. If anyone is searching for a spot to bond with their kids and take a break from the distractions of daily life, Wonder is the place to be. We paid around $23 for one child and two adults, plus more than $10 for parking, so we were already over $30 for the visit. At that price point, I expected a clean, thoughtfully maintained, safe-feeling children's space with enough activities to make the outing worthwhile. That was not our experience. My biggest concern was cleanliness and maintenance. For a place centered around young children touching, climbing, splashing, and exploring everything, cleanliness should be a major priority. The outdoor water-play areas, including the water table and mud kitchen, had water that looked old and dirty. We didn't even arrive particularly late in the day, so I was surprised they were already in that condition. I didn't feel comfortable letting my toddler really play with them, which was disappointing considering those are some of the main outdoor activities. The outdoor area in general did not feel especially well maintained. There were also a lot of bees around while we were there. I completely understand that bees are part of being outdoors and aren't always something a business can control, but combined with the dirty water-play areas and the overall condition of the space, it added to the feeling that I needed to constantly watch where my child was stepping and touching rather than being able to relax and let her explore. Safety was another concern for me. The building is an older house, and it honestly feels like an old house that has been converted into a children's play space rather than a space intentionally designed for small children. The stairs made me especially nervous with a young toddler and felt like a fall waiting to happen. I also noticed exposed/open outlets and visible cords or cables in areas accessible to children. When you're bringing a walking toddler somewhere specifically designed for play, you really shouldn't have to spend the entire visit scanning the environment for potential hazards. The space itself is also much smaller than I expected. There are essentially only about four main play areas, and even though there were very few people there during our visit, it still felt limited. I honestly can't imagine how crowded it would feel if several families were there at the same time. I also don't think this is particularly well suited for children under 3. A somewhat older child might enjoy the pretend-play or DIY-style activities more, but for a younger toddler there simply wasn't enough to do to justify the admission price. A lot of the installations also felt inexpensive, homemade, or worn rather than like the quality I would expect from a paid children's attraction. The staff checked us in, but beyond that there wasn't much interaction, and the overall experience wasn't particularly warm or welcoming. I know every family values different things, and another child may have a completely different experience. But for us, between the cleanliness concerns, safety concerns, very limited number of activities, small space, outdoor water areas that did not feel sanitary, and the total cost after parking, I just cannot recommend it, especially for toddlers. There are so many wonderful parks, play spaces, classes, museums, and children's activities in the Loudoun area. Compared with what else you can do locally for the same amount of money, or even for free, this just did not feel worth it at all. Unfortunately, we definitely would not return

What's great is that you just select a theme from the pictures they have they send you a digital invite to send out and as you get close to the party date, they'll confirm the theme and give you an idea of what the schedule is. That's it that's literally all you have to do. Honestly, if you were to just walk in the door without anything in hand other than a child, your 90 minute birthday party would go off without a hitch. They had the cupcakes, the utensils, the balloons, the beautiful room set up and they had the goodie bags. Honestly, a lot of the parents gave us a compliment on organizing the party and how much fun they had and I felt weird taking any credit for it. We had an assigned party planner that was very invested in making sure everything was running on time and that the room was set up perfectly to our needs. And at the end of the party, they packed everything up for you. What's wild is they actually packed everything back in the original containers organized and ready to go. And then these poor people had to re-organize all the toys that our party had demolished and dragged a different corners of the room all within 30 minutes. I hate planning, and hosting events gives me a lot of anxiety, so to have a party go off successfully with my minimal involvement is amazing.
