The kids had the best time but scramble employees were no where to be found! There was no one monitoring kids. My kid got hurt a few times by slightly older kids and it was quite chaotic. The staff were not cleaning at all. You have to remove your shoes before entering the play area but the toilets are located inside the play designated area which means you have to go into the bathroom with socks on which is very gross. They should allow shoes in the bathroom area. Also the soap dispensers were empty and the lady that cleans the bathroom just hung out in the bathroom not really cleaning or filling the soap. The cafe - there are food options for kids and adults. We did try the kids pizza and French fries. The pizza was fine( cheese) but the fries were not good. It tasted like they fried it in very old oil. They do have coffee but I did not try it as the didn't have an option for skim milk. They do not allow outside food or drink but no one seems to really monitor that. Security - ok so this is non-existent. There is a door that divides outside area with inside play area but kids can easily open the door and leave the premises. The lady that stands by the door doesn't monitor kids matches with their guardians. She just opens and closes the door and often she is not there at all. They do not give wristbands at all or any form of security feature. So watch your kids closely while you are there as once they go into that massive play area it's difficult to locate them. The kids seemed to enjoy it as they don't worry about germs , dirt or food. I mean it's fine for an hour or so but honestly it was the last resort when deciding on a place to take the kids too. They also charge the adults an entry fee!!! ‍ I mean it's not like we are playing in the kids areas . I think we paid $55 for entry (2 kids and 2 adults). Would I go back? Not by choice but if the kids asked then I would consider it for an hour or two. ( definitely not on a weekend though).

We waited at the front desk for quite a long time with no staff present. Eventually, a staff member named Annaia saw us but appeared to be walking away until I called her over. When she finally assisted us, her attitude was very rude and impatient. Her manner was abrupt and unprofessional. When I mentioned that we had been waiting for a long time, she simply responded that they were "very busy," in a dismissive tone, without any apology or acknowledgment. I understand that things can get busy, but basic courtesy and respect toward customers should always be maintained. This was the first time I've encountered such poor service here, and it was quite disappointing given my past experiences. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving customer service to prevent this from happening again.

My biggest concern was cleanliness and maintenance. For a place centered around young children touching, climbing, splashing, and exploring everything, cleanliness should be a major priority. The outdoor water-play areas, including the water table and mud kitchen, had water that looked old and dirty. We didn't even arrive particularly late in the day, so I was surprised they were already in that condition. I didn't feel comfortable letting my toddler really play with them, which was disappointing considering those are some of the main outdoor activities. The outdoor area in general did not feel especially well maintained. There were also a lot of bees around while we were there. I completely understand that bees are part of being outdoors and aren't always something a business can control, but combined with the dirty water-play areas and the overall condition of the space, it added to the feeling that I needed to constantly watch where my child was stepping and touching rather than being able to relax and let her explore. Safety was another concern for me. The building is an older house, and it honestly feels like an old house that has been converted into a children's play space rather than a space intentionally designed for small children. The stairs made me especially nervous with a young toddler and felt like a fall waiting to happen. I also noticed exposed/open outlets and visible cords or cables in areas accessible to children. When you're bringing a walking toddler somewhere specifically designed for play, you really shouldn't have to spend the entire visit scanning the environment for potential hazards. The space itself is also much smaller than I expected. There are essentially only about four main play areas, and even though there were very few people there during our visit, it still felt limited. I honestly can't imagine how crowded it would feel if several families were there at the same time. I also don't think this is particularly well suited for children under 3. A somewhat older child might enjoy the pretend-play or DIY-style activities more, but for a younger toddler there simply wasn't enough to do to justify the admission price. A lot of the installations also felt inexpensive, homemade, or worn rather than like the quality I would expect from a paid children's attraction. The staff checked us in, but beyond that there wasn't much interaction, and the overall experience wasn't particularly warm or welcoming. I know every family values different things, and another child may have a completely different experience. But for us, between the cleanliness concerns, safety concerns, very limited number of activities, small space, outdoor water areas that did not feel sanitary, and the total cost after parking, I just cannot recommend it, especially for toddlers. There are so many wonderful parks, play spaces, classes, museums, and children's activities in the Loudoun area. This year, our picnic was planned for the hottest day of the summer so far. We have a big set up of games and inflatables with Ed Boak and Fun Services and a full menu with Bob Egan and High Point Catering. The building is air conditioned which makes it a great place to set up the food, cold drinks and some eating tables. The outside is so beautifully maintained with lots of shade. A smaller 2-5 play set, a nice feature and a very rarely seen Whirl A Round that my kids love. While the playgrounds are more or less standard the shade, the size and the whirl a round put this playground up a couple notches for your average elementary school playground. There is also a small older building that hosts farmers markets in the winter and a few pavilions that are nice for get togethers. Overall a great local spot.
