It's more in the line of light snacks than an actual meal, mostly cold, but they were more interesting than the standard charcuterie plate offered by similar venues, and I liked that they listed the country or state of origin of everything. For dessert, how about a slice of cheesecake from Chill's of Warren, RI - or a flight of 3 for $21! Beer lovers, don't fear Coastal Bubbles. Menu listed five, all of which I've never heard of, from Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, and Portugal, sure to interest the connoisseur. The menu that day included 25 wines by the glass. Their high-tech "Coravin System" keeps the open bottles fresh, and my Croation Matsuško was flawless in that respect. Port lovers might try the "100 Years Of Port Flight": the 10, 20, 30, and 40 year vintages of Van Zellers. I'll be doing that next time, with the cheesecake.

They said I could rebook for the new rates, almost triple of what the price was. Travelocity tried to get them to honor the reservation, they would not. We did get rebooked at a different property and Travelocity covered the difference in cost, Beware of low prices from this place.. they will cancel on you. I'm glad we didn't get stranded for our trip. We really wanted to stay and probably would of booked more trips as my son and his family are local and have my only grandbaby. They missed out. She helped us book all of our rentals (tent, flatware, plates, tables, etc) and she was always there for advice and to offer suggestions based on her experience. She met with us at PEAK to pick out our tableware, she gave us great suggestions for anything else we needed to rent, coordinated all the setup both on Friday and our actual wedding day, and was so prompt in her replies via email or phone. We could not have pulled it off without her expertise! We would have ended up spending a lot more money overall if we didn't have her guidance. And of course the food was amazing. I loved the fact that it was all local and in-season! Sustainability was very important when picking our vendors, so I appreciated the attention to detail, the composting, and support of local farmers and growers. Plus we got to take home the leftovers! Win/win/win. Lastly, the whole team truly cares about the process. They don't just throw food in pans on the table, but craft such gorgeous tablescapes that look like they fit in perfectly with the rest of the event. The water room was closed but it honestly wasn't missed since there were so many other rooms. Real highlight is the indoor space playground, though my daughter personally liked the doctor room. There's some outside play. Unlike PCM, it doesn't seem to be much learning besides some signs on the walls about the planets, more play based but it was exactly what we were looking for and it wiped my daughter out for a 3 hr naps!
