I&A Automotive is highly recommended for the great service they provided with my car repair. They were able to quickly diagnose the problem, provide me with a detailed (line item) estimate, then promptly repair the issue while I waited. They offered multiple times during my visit to give me a ride home or to my office. Though I declined their shuttle offer, I appreciated their consideration in offering. Their work was completed in a few hours (they'd told me 2 1/2 to 3 hours when I approved the estimate and it was done in under 2 hours). I thought their pricing was very reasonable for the work performed. Accordingly, they're now my go to garage for any future work I need done. Took my 2014 gl450 in for flashing red AC light. The diagnostic code said the AC wasn't engaging. The receptionist told me that diagnostic code was a false positive and I needed to charge the AC. They charged the AC and I paid 450.00 for diagnostics, that supposedly read a false code, and charging the AC and then told me that I needed a new compressor!!! And the receptionist had the nerve to tell me "I don't want you to feel like we're taking advantage of you." read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! If you stay throughout this review, great. If not, I hope you can stay this far for me to tell you to NEVER do business with this place! My 2019 Kia Soul stopped accelerating, so I had it towed to this place. I waited almost a week & a half for them to tell me what was wrong. Mind you, I had to keep calling for them to even tell me. They diagnosed my Kia, and told me my engine is broken. They told me they would charge me $4k-$5k for a new engine that had 61k miles (my engine has 91k miles), so a 30,000 mile difference seemed very off to me. I told them no, I would like to get a second opinion. I had the car towed to Kia of Streetsboro, and my dealership told me the only issue was that I had no oil & I needed to replace my brakes & rotors, air filter. I had the work done at Kia, and spent $600 for all of that. My car is running great btw. Regardless, this place does not care about your time, money, and lack ethics. They tried to scam me out of $5k for an engine that DID NOT need replaced. I have also seen google reviews stating that they give free oil changes for those that leave good reviews. Two former employees (not stating names) told me that they are grimy & sneaky. Shame on you, I & A. You cannot run a good, successful business on pure lies & deception. AMAZING doesn't quite cover my experience with this company and their employees. I was waiting on the side of the road for 3 hours due to my AAA tow (that many tow company's decline pickup). They reached out to me saying how i am out of their district (miles) but she felt for my situation so full heartedly and wanted nothing but my safely and to get me off the side of the highway. Our son got his car towed here after he was ran off the road and hit a curb causing his tire to bend and braking the rod. That was on March 26th... he just picked his car up today As he was driving the car home, he heard rattling coming from the gear shift. Very noticeable rattling! How was anyone able to tell him to come pick up a car that isn't ready for pick up? No one test drove it before saying it was good to go??? First off the lady who answers the phone is unprofessional, sarcastic tone, unfriendly , and lacks good customer service skills. This "business" is a joke they don't follow up when they promise to do so. I won't beg an establishment to service me, I'll write you off and take my money elsewhere. Oh and the rating is a scam. My husband dropped off his car to have diagnostic tests run and a oil change due to his check engine light being on. When he went to pick up the car they claimed they fixed some things WITHOUT his permission and charged almost $450. The kicker is the check engine light is still on. I called back again and asked if they could repair my car because they didn't fix the water pump leakage properly. I was put on hold for about 15 to 20 mins and they hung up. I went for a free break inspection and was told I needed $548 worth of work. When I thanked them for the inspection and told them I'd like to wait a few days in order to do some price comparisons around the city, I was told that they could not and would not take my car off the lift due to inability to drive. I told them I'd take my chances so that I can again, price compare because I was sure their price was too much. I fought with the owner for over 30 minutes trying to explain that I wanted my car. He told me that something broke off my tire and he could not give me my car to drive. Again, I told him put my car together so I could leave. He finally agreed to let me get my car, IF, I paid $100 for the FREE INSPECTION. I paid the $100 and magically, they were able to put my car together for me to drive. The next day I took my car to the Honda dealership and they informed me that the same work I and A wanted to charge me $548 for would be $389. I told them I'd like to get the work done elsewhere and they simply gave me my keys. I and A does not offer dealership prices. They charge exceptionally more. I'm sitting in the waiting room for the third time within a month. I paid them $400 cash and that was after the discount. All the reviews you see on here are bought. The owner makes you write several reviews on several different sites before he tells you your total. You don't even see if your car is working. I was told it was my radiator the first time. Didn't even have my car back a week before the same problems I initially had surfaced again. I went back I was yelled at by the owner in front of his entire staff as well as the mechanic who worked on my car. I have no doubt in my mind if I hadn't fought back I was going to have to pay for them to fix my car again. That time I was told it was the actuator (today I was told they were wrong and it was the heating core.) They kept my car for a week. Get it back and again the very same problems resurface. I was on the freeway driving and I noticed my car overheating a lot I had to hurry up and pull to the side of the side of the freeway. Called the shop again they told me to come up. This time the problem.. my engine. They said it's because my car kept overheating. In the beginning. The moment I noticed my car was overheating I took it to them that same day. They would just have me sit in the waiting room while they let my car run for hours. This has been the absolute worst experience I've ever had. $400 gone and now my engine a 2006 Honda civic with 160,000 miles on it isn't good. Just save yourself the headache. read more
