Nearly perfect under the previous ownership, it's now a small shop with not much knowledge about car repairs. Your phone calls are not returned, and neither are the website inquiries. When my car stalled at a red light, this shop couldn't diagnose a bad Mass Air Flow sensor.... enough said. These are the basics! Free emissions test is about the only good thing about this shop. Pre arranged appointment for suspension work on my auto. Per owner, ordered parts and brought parts when I dropped off the car on the day the owner suggested. Advised owner I was not in a real hurry to have the work completed, within reason of course. I called a couple times for a status report. Five days later I was told the primary work(suspension) was not completed as 1 part did not fit. Upon delivery, I was given what could be called a song and dance story: "Try out the ride and let us know if the tire change(all new tires) helps in the ride quality". Consequently, I was able to return all the parts I ordered to the vendors. Bottom line, my opinion of the business is: They are capable of tasks like tire change/rotation & oil change. Other jobs that are more detailed, Let the customer beware! Listening to customers concerns is one thing, the skills to complete the task is another. read more

I brought my car in for a general checkup before a long road trip. I was really impressed with Danielle and the team. Within a few hours they gave my car a once over, told me I didn't need an oil change yet (aka didn't provide unnecessary services) and even filled up the air in my spare tire, which I didn't think to ask about. Great service, family friendly, and efficient! Came here Friday 2/14/14 after I blew out my tire on a freezing day with my two young daughters right at lunch time Tom took care of us within the day with new tires and a realignment all by 4pm! This was invaluable for a mom with small kids! If you live close they can drive you home and pick you up! Recently I found a nail in my tire. I could still drive on it, but I knew that I had to get it fixed. I asked two different garages to fix it and both said, "No way, you need to buy a new tire." Convinced I needed a new tire, I call the place where I purchased by current tires (Center Heights Service) and asked them for a quote. They said they could fix my issue, bring the car in. I told them they that is highly unlikely since two other places said it is not repairable. They insisted I bring it in, so I did. Sure enough, they fixed it. No new tire required. The service was prompt and friendly. I would definitely go back for any type of car repair, especially tires! read more

Yelp guided me here and it was a great decision. I came for a leak in one my tires. I called 30 min before and near the end of the day and the gentleman I spoke with (I think he's the owner) was super nice and was able to see me. They checked out the tire, sealed it, and checked out and did something (i forgot) to all my tires. The whole thing probably took less than 30 min and under $30! Customer service is fantastic here! It's rare that I have such a pleasant experience at an auto shop that would motivate me to write a review but this place deserves it. I am new to Cleveland and had been a little anxious about finding an honest mechanic. This is the kind of place that makes a customer for life in less than 5 minutes. I came here for a second opinion due to a recommendation by a friend of a friend. The first repair shop quoted $450. The staff immediately makes you feel like family. The place is comfortable, well decorated, and has a free coffee bar for you to sit back and relax while your ride is repaired. Adding to that, my repair quote was more than half off my first quote. ($215). I seriously feel like I'm the guy who found the secret oasis on the beach that no one else knows about. Great people and service... Great service! Tom and his team have been great at identifying and fixing the issues with my Pontiac Vibe (Toyota Marrix). He made sure I could take advantage of any rebates on tires, took care of an exhaust issue, recently fixed the heater. All done within a few days and at very reasonable costs. First time visitor to this place 10/31/18. Showed up at 7:30 opening time to see about having a simple wheel bearing replacement done. I explain to the lady at the counter that I already have the part and just need it installed. She says they can probably fit me in, and puts my vehicle information into the computer. Then quotes me a ridiculous price of $175 to do it. Now this is a job anyone can do. It's not difficult at all (and if you lack the specific tools required, Advance Auto will loan them to you for FREE). I've done it myself on this vehicle twice in the last 5 years. It took an hour to complete the job, and I don't have a lift or any pneumatic equipment to assist me. So when I questioned her why so much for a simple job that shouldn't take more than an hour she got snotty with me and told me in a rude tone that the computer says it will take an hour and a half. I mentioned that I can do this myself in an hour, and she doubles-down by even more rudely replying "well, I guess you can go do it yourself." That is an exact quote. So here are my first-impression takeaways of this repair shop: Almost $90/hr (more, if you factor in taxes on the final bill) is not exactly what I'd call "low cost," and padding the time to do a job is not what I'd call a reputable practice. Combine those two items with the unbelievable rude lady at the counter (possibly one of the owners?), and I will NEVER, EVER consider using this shop again. My office is just a mile away, so I thought it would be a great place to take my vehicle for repairs while I'm working. Forget it. These reviews gushing over low cost and friendly service are misleading at best. One star from me is only because I can't give less. read more

My car was making an awful "clanking" noise and I knew it was going to e expensive when I found Center Heights Service I called and Tom the owner, was very friendly and said bring it in!!! When he took me back to show me it was tie-rods on both sides.. I held my breath thinking this is going to break me!! Much to my surprise it was 3 times cheaper then I had been given in the past!
