Its the lack of the speed of putting things up and making lots of small talk, adding up time. Im not made of money and paying 400$ because your movers wanna spend 30+ mins talking in between furniture and somehow get lost and take longer to get to the destination. Its unacceptable. Your movers need to be more efficient in speed, also how they carry stuff cause i now have to pay damages to my apartment that had nothing in it, let alone in the way for them. Its two of them, team work, no other excuse. Lastly, i understand getting lost on the road and driving cautiously to the place is a 5/5 but taking 20 min to get there when its 10 mins away is odd.

My wife and I have been having LOTS of trouble getting it replaced. We are on the 6th week right now and still don't have a replacement tv. Eddie Arroyo (the owner) last provided us an update on June 18th saying he would get us the documents we needed within 2 days. It's been over two weeks and I can't seem to get any updates from anyone. I have kept track of all the email threads for evidence as well as when we called and left voicemails. First couple weeks they said they were "extremely overwhelmed with new moves, the claim would be processes the ASAP" .. now I'm getting "Eddie has been out of town all week". I would highly recommend going elsewhere, it's worth paying a more expensive company to handle your move as I'm sure they would do a better job handling your insurance claim. We were very pleased with their work. We were disappointed with the miscommunication we had with Adam around pricing. We gave our location, items purchased, and that items were to be situated on the ground floor and received a quote of $150-$250. We were told pricing was $75/hour and upon paying, were told three people is $100/hour. The movers said it was because of how many items we had that they needed an extra person, but we gave them that info to get the quote. With their experience, I feel like quotes should be closer to the actual price. Our total was $59-$159 over. When asked about the gap in pricing, Adam explained that, when we asked about precautions for damage, it might take a little extra time to wrap and ensure protection. I'm not sure how that increased our price that significantly or why that wouldn't have been done in the first place. They also said we could pay by cash or card and were charged a surcharge for using a card, which was not disclosed beforehand. We would have had cash on hand. All in all, the work done was great and worth the pricing, but it never feels good to pay more than expected or feel like there are undisclosed/not discussed costs. Better communication would have earned them the 5th star.

I specifically requested 2 floor dollies for the hospital bed as this was imperative to transport the bed on its side. Adam (the owner) and 2 other men showed up. The crew repeatedly ignored clear instructions, including my request to bring two floor dollies for a specialty hospital bed. Instead, they attempted to use a bulky cart resembling a luggage cart that didn't fit the hallway turn, resulting in broken drywall in multiple areas and damaged door trim. This method was largely unsuccessful, and the hospital bed had to be handled differently. More troubling, Adam tampered with the hospital bed's electrical components, removed the battery, and attempted to operate the bed while it was on its side -- something I specifically warned against. This caused visible strain on the central hydraulic arm and risked permanent damage to a medical device. My laminate floor was gouged when Adam purposely dropped the metal electrical panel cover, stating "I am just going to remove this", as he attempted to restore power to the bed because the battery died while he was operating the bed on its side and under strain. Adam disconnected the Washer improperly, leaving the valve partially open, which when discovered the next day had caused water to leak and damage both the laminate flooring and drywall. Despite my request to remove the washer & dryer pedestals before moving the machines, they twisted and forced the units down the stairs, leaving the pedestals dented and warped. Although Adam acknowledged the wall damage, the overall lack of care, failure to follow instructions, and unsafe handling of equipment make it impossible for me to recommend this provider. I reported the damages to Adam & I am yet to get a call back to settle the damages incurred for the drywall, gouged flooring, twisted washer/dryer pedestal, water damaged flooring. He refused to furnish his liability insurance. This says a lot.

They've always showed up on time with 3 movers who are all very polite and respectful. They come prepared with everything you need to move. Our last move was over 80 miles away and I was so grateful when they said they would accept our out of town move. All the other quotes from other moving company's were outrageous. The crews were amazing and they ran almost the entire time. I have used them for apartment and house moves. They are now under new ownership and it shows. They showed up and got started but don't have the right tools to break down the single bed. I had to provide tools, but they they still stripped out the screws on the bed frame and I had to finish, so it didn't get any worse. The same thing happened for the table, they didn't have the right tools and stripped the screws. I had asked them to wrap the furniture and tvs as this was all going into a storage. They had wrap but ran out after wrapping 2 pieces as they only brought a single roll that was almost out. Everything was boxed and ready aside from the furniture, This was a 1 bedroom apt that was 700+ sq feet. They took 6 hours and $900 to move a 1 bedroom apartment. I had a 2 story 2800 sq foot house moved by the previous crews in 5 hrs and paid significantly less. They did a really poor job of unloading into the storage. I have boxes that are being crushed and have already had to rent another unit to unpack and repack correctly. The last part of these transaction was a problem also. As i was paying with a credit card i was told that there is a 3% additional fee. I was advised I should have been told when i booked that cc had an additional fee. Seeing as my checks were packed I got stuck with the fee. After a much longer than normal move, much higher cost, and unprepared movers I would definitely not recommend anyone using them again.

He fell and dropped several of our boxes marked clearly as "fragile". They claimed they were able to take apart and put our sleep number bed together. They took it apart but were not able to put it back together. I called several times to get help for the money I paid to fix the bed and the broken items and they refused to call me back.
