We had scheduled with e&g moveing to load a uhaul for us, and this was scheduled 10 days in advance. They were supposed to arrive by 10 am. A little after 10 am on the day they were supposed to arrive, they texted me saying they were having car trouble, and were waiting on roadside assist. We offered to go and pick them up, since we needed the help, since Im disabled. They said they would check, and have never heard back since. If I could give negative stars, I would. This company is so strange. I have worked with them in the past and the move went great. The guys are fast and careful with everything. I looked to hire them again for another project and had a date confirmed with Eduardo. On the day of the move, I wait and wait and wait but no one shows up. I make multiple calls to the only number listed, leave voicemails but get no response! I message on Yelp that it's fine if they're going to cancel but to just let me know so I can start looking for another company. Still nothing back. I'm left scrambling at the end of the month looking for another moving company and pretty much everyone else is booked. Really put me in a hard position. And if they just would have told me that they couldn't make the time that would have been fine but the fact that I didn't get a response from them after multiple times calling them is what's making me leave this review. read more

I wonder if E&G stands for Excellent and Graceful? That's what these guys are! I had them move some things from one end of a house to another, from the basement to the ground level, and swap all the furniture in the rooms. Two strong dudes show up from E&G, and they successfully identify the best way to do it, brought all their own tools and equipment, and even wrapped all the furniture in saran wrap so it didn't get damaged. They were careful, polite, and courteous about things. They really did a fantastic job, and busted out their work quickly and efficiently. Not once did I hear them bash a cabinet in the wall, or drop a credenza! They handled each piece of furniture like it was their own. I like the fact that E&G has a bible verse on their shirts and truck, something from Leviticus. They take credit cards too! read more

I've never wrote a bad review but this company warranted us to warn others to avoid them. We made arrangements to move a few weeks in advance. Day of the move, all our things are boxed and packed, they never showed up. We called and were never answered and were unable to leave a message due to the mailbox was full. No contact whatsoever with us to say the move was canceled. Please avoid if you can, we didn't realize others were having similar issues. Luckily we found another group to take us. I really wanted to leave a positive review, however, I couldn't in good conscious. Overall, the job was done. There was some changes in time, which actually worked out decently well for me, but the professionalism, time frame, and condition of my items were not great. - It took less than an hour to load all of my belongings, but over two hours to unload - I was promised a TV box, which was not provided. I have not been able to determine if I was charged for it - A few unprofessional instances occurred. I would rather discuss this with the company before posting the details on an online forum - I may update this further at a later time - Multiple items were damaged (I have six bookshelves, four of which were damaged to a point that I'm attempting to fix them, and a file cabinet that was completely destroyed) - A few items were missing (a tabletop, a holiday tree, and a few shelves) I have reached out to the company a few weeks ago, but did not hear back from them at all. read more

The moving team was wonderful. They were fast, professional and hard working. However, the office was terrible. I called them to confirm and have a few questions answered. No one answered or called me back. Then the team was 2 1/2 hours late. The office never bothered to call me. I had to call them multiple times for someone to answer. Then he said he could call me back, but an hour later I still hadn't heard, while I sat waiting in the sun at the appointed time. I hope the guys doing the heavy lifting move to a company with better management. They deserve better. Update: E and G contacted us to rectify the situation. We very much appreciated that. I don't give 5 stars unless it's well warranted. If I could give E&G Moving 10 stars, I would. They are that GOOD! I hired them to move 3 pieces of heavy duty gym equipment into my home gym. The movers, RJ and Emilio were AWESOME! They arrived on time and ready to work. RJ quickly assessed the situation and went into action. Emilio worked equally as hard. They had everything loaded into the truck within 30 minutes. Let me tell that this stuff was extremely HEAVY! I wasn't sure how they were going to get everything into the garage, but RJ had me move all the vehicles out of the driveway. Then, he backed in right at the garage door. They asked me exactly where I wanted everything placed and had it unloaded in under 30 minutes. These guys are knowledgeable and handled my equipment with care. Eduardo, the manager kept in constant contact from beginning to end. His price quote was beyond fair. I would definitely recommend these guys to all my family and friends. From the looks of the most recent reviews their customer service has been going down hill. If I could get them less than a star I would...... scheduled move and they never showed, didn't respond to phone calls or text and really left me in a bind. Scheduled a week in advance for a 27 ft truck and 3 movers @ 9am -10am They showed up at 10:40am with 3 movers and a 10 ft truck . So from the jump I was pissed , but bring that we're moving into our first house and had spend all week packing we had to move it anyways. Surprisingly these guys make our entire 2bed room 2bath apartment fit in that 10ft truck in 2 hours . And unloaded everything in our new home in 45mins with nothing damaged . The driver called at 3 (after I messaged the co) saying his truck battery was acting up he'd be here at 4. No show. I called at 5 he answered with loud music blasting in the background and said battery was "just now" fixed and would arrive in 20 min. 45 minutes later still no movers. The most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. We set an agreed time of 9:00am-10:00am. The movers did not show up until 11:00am and that was after I called them and woke them up. That was the beginning of the nightmare. Besides the lack of communication the truck came huffing and puffing down the street with a different logo on it and barely running. When they opened the truck it was half full with a full size couch and loveseat that belonged to someone else inside it. We said you better be able to fit all of our stuff in there. We don't want you to make two trips. So unprofessional. Then my worst nightmare came true. My $2,000 bed was damaged and they only offered $40 as compensation. Then later I found a broken and busted full length mirror I paid $300 for that they did nothing about even though I called and asked to be compensated. They say you get what you pay for. Please pay a little more or you will be sorry and crying like I am. What a dreadful horrible company. The worst thing about this company is it's manager Eduardo (Ed). Honestly the WORST moving company. The manager is completely heartless and unprofessional. He left my stranded on my move day and did not care to take blame. I had to push back my move time with him multiple times because he kept having a new excuse. I would NOT recommend anyone use this company because they are completely unreliable. The manager does not answer phone calls and does not keep you updated on your move. His emails are always misspelled and he refuses to answer phone calls unless it's in his convenience.
