I decided to do the battery replacement. Well, during the battery replacement (at NO FAULT OF SAM'S), something happened with my phone, but my Face ID stopped working. He tried to do a few troubleshoots but couldn't fix that (we think it was from damage previously, but who knows...I never had issues with it, and I am NOT FAULTING SAM!). So, I decided to trade it in for the quote he gave me and got a new (used) iPhone. Sam is beyond professional. He was warm, welcoming, and very engaging. He made me feel like I was an old friend. Now there's new people there, and wants to charge me for diagnostics on the phone even after telling them about the situation. They never asked my name nor do they even want to look up the info. I've lost all my interest in cell phone repair stores... especially this one. I was happy to see that they were open on Saturday when other shops weren't, especially with an impending ice storm approaching. I really needed my phone repaired ASAP. Sure enough, I was greeted with excellent customer service from the moment I walked through the door. Freddie assisted me with my phone. He was very knowledgeable & said that he would be right back in about 5 minutes. I couldn't believe that in roughly about that time, I was paying for my repaired iPhone. Initially I couldn't remember my password to get back into my iCloud account. He offered options to help restore it. Thankfully, I remembered once I got home. It was under water for a few minutes before we were able to get it out. You could literally see water under the screen, in the camera lenses in the back, and water was trapped inside. We tried to dry it out hoping it was salvageable, but it was turning off and back on constantly. I ended up having to do an early upgrade on my plan because I'm a Realtor and can't work without a phone. I was in shock when I realized my new phone didn't have my contacts on it... My contacts were somehow saved under an email account I had back in 2014. The email was no longer active and I was in freak out mode. I called 9 other shops looking for help, and none of them felt like they could help me. Thank God I Googled iPhone repair shops and these guys came up! I called and they were super confident that they could help get my phone working enough for me to get my contacts transferred to my new phone. They did even better than that.... They got my contacts transferred over AND got my phone back working 100%. Y'all, they literally saved my real estate business. I was in a bind not having contact info for clients, vendors, and other agents... I'm super thankful these guys took the time to get this done for me.
