I love the woman who always helps me her name is Tzariah I am sure I misspelled her name but, she is so kind and I enjoy our conversations. Ooh, baby, I like it raw. Yeah, baby, I like it raw. I'm go glad there is a good Poke shop in the area! When i worked in Renton/Kent, there was only one Poke place that I would visit. Then I started working from home (Federal Way) I didn't have a place to go to. Then we moved to Lakewood, and I'm ecstatic I'm less than 12 minutes away from IC Poke. The owners and staff are phenomenal! The ambiance is delightful and so chill. I heard that the ownership changed about 3 years ago, for those who thinks it's still owned by the same lady: things have definitely changed for the better. I can't comprehend why people are complaining about the portions, because I've been here multiple times since August 2024, and my bowl is always FULL. They always measure out the proteins - so it's always consistent to the Size you're ordering. But the rest: it's all freehand. Want a bigger bowl? Add mor of the free e sides and mix-ins! If you're a picky eater, and don't like any of the sides to fill up your bowl - it's not really their fault, is it? hahah. I always get the same ingredients, just in different sizes and sauces. Half-rice-half-greens. Tuna and Shrimp. Pineapple, Jalapeno, Corn, and cilantro. Seaweed and Crab Salad. Ginger. Crispy Onion. Yesterday, I asked the owner, Rayza to make me her favorite bowl. I'm not picky, and I wanted her to just work her magic. The Rayza Special: Half Mixed Greens & Half Rice base. I started coming here about a year and a half ago and have never had a bad bowl. This is the best poke bowl I've ever had. The portions are good size. Love how you can get half rice and half greens to cut down on the carbs. The sauces are soooo good! So fresh and it's pretty quick to order. Really good make it yourself poke place. Food quality was definitely fresh and very tasty. Lots of choice to choose from with pre-made poke as well. Fish did not have a fishy/oily aftertaste meaning some definite care was put into getting it ready. The lavender boba was also perfect with the right amount of sweetness with the right texture tapioca balls as well. Meh. I love poke and frequent a lot of places. Their portions are smaller than most. Example: I always get to spring mix, no rice. At Poke Pop, you get a ton of salad. So full the lid barely closes. Same with toppings. Poke Pop gives way more toppings. IC Poke does have more choices of toppings though. I do not like how they shred their spicy salmon. It turns into a gross paste. Should be cubed. All in all, not bad... but Poke Pop is 10x better. read more

Food here is great. If I was reviewing food only it would be 10 out of 10 stars. However there is only ever one person working the counter so it always takes a long time to get through the line. I fully understand people are keeping overhead lean, but this place always has a line and waiting 30+ min for your turn to order each time is a bit much. I don't know why this place has a lot of negative reviews... I've been to worse. Maybe it depends on who their employees/cooks are that day. I decided to give this a place a try for myself despite their ratings. And I wasn't disappointed! Went back twice now. The rice was cooked perfectly every time we've been. They have many options for sauces/marinades and even toppings. Their serving size was decently portioned. We even tried their sushi burrito, and it was yummy.. you can even pick what to put inside. The only downside for this place is that the price can be steep. Ordered 2 bowls + 1 sushi burrito and it was easily $60 after taxes. It's not the BEST poke place or most authentic, and I definitely won't purposefully go here out of my way... but it will satisfy a craving once in awhile when I'm in the area. read more

I wanted to like IC Poke so badly! I love Poke and got hooked on it during the 2 years we were stationed in Hawai'i. The idea of building my own bowl was very appealing so I decided to give it a try. The store front is appealing and clean, as the inside is also. A great indicator, generally speaking. The service itself was great. I walked in soon after opening and the solo employee was kind and service was quick! The presentation left something to be desired, but I was excited to try the poke bowl I had ordered so I took it to my car and settled in to enjoy. Unfortunately, what it came down in the end to was the overly fishy taste of the seafood (indicting it's lack of freshness) and the very high price-to-quality ratio. After a few bites, I couldn't finish my meal and was left disappointed. Having discovered other local spots that offer a much more fulfilling poke experience for the same price, we decided that this wasn't the spot for us. I may try again at some point to see if this was a one-off experience but unlikely with other alternatives available. read more

Customer service was horrible from the moment we stepped in. I ordered two kids bowls (and my husband ordered food too) and asked for poke sauce (which ultimately was my mistake - at the other two local poke places, it's a sweeter sauce, or a soy sauce but definitely not a spicy sauce). We sit down and both my kids complain that the bowl is too spicy to eat after one bite - I tried it and sure enough, it was definitely too spicy. I go up to ask if there's a different sauce or something that can make these less spicy and both the older lady and the younger kid were so incredibly rude about the whole thing. I end up just purchasing an entire new bowl and said 'maybe let people know if the sauce is spicy if it's for kids bowls' and the younger kid said 'how are we supposed to know you don't give your kids flavor?' I can't believe I spent $60+ at this place for them to be so rude when they could've simply apologized or worked with me to find a less spicy sauce, literally anything. Not looking for free anything, just a simple sorry would've gone a long way. read more

We were jonesing for some Poke later in the evening when many places were closed for the night. We lucked out that I C Poke was open and we put pedal to the metal to get to Lakewood about 40 minutes to closing. The young lady that assisted in the order was super nice, really pleasant to talk to, and she was patient. Both my partner and I really enjoyed the conversation while working through our orders. I didn't have many questions just because we eat a lot of Poke and feel like experts on the process. I was super excited to see that they had unique toppings in comparison to some of our regular spots that we frequent. They offered pickled radish which I have never seen, they also dice up their cucumbers, both are a huge thumbs up for me. I was very pleased with their sauce options and in my opinion the price for a large (3 proteins) was fair in comparison to the portion sizes. I highly recommend giving their house sauce a go as it was super good and don't be afraid to try the pickled radish as a topping, you won't be disappointed. I will definitely be back in the future. This is much closer to us than some of our other favorite poke spots so I was very excited that I had such a good experience. Happy that there are more Poke places popping up in the Lakewood/Tacoma area! My cousin and I wanted something yummy and fresh after a nice walk at Chambers Bay. She also remembered she had a coupon for a buy 1 get 1 free offer. I phoned in for an order for 2 bowls. At first it was a little hard getting my order through the phone, I don't think the person on the other line understood me very well. We ordered 2 bowls of salmon/tuna (salad/half rice) with the maximum toppings allowed. The only other place I eat Poke at is PokePop which I really love. The fish quality was "okay" it wasn't the best cut pieces but it was good for what we got. The servings sizes also seemed a little smaller than usual. The flavors and all of the toppings made the Poke taste delicious and even better for getting one for free! read more

I hate that I have to leave this review... This poke place used to be a favorite of my mom and mine. Depending on who is working you get good portions and a neat bowl. But tonight we left without purchasing food. As we walked in we noticed it was the same girl working who used her hands last time to scoop toppings. During that last visit we asked her to please use the tongs, so we were in hopes she continued to do so from then on. But nope! We were wrong. She scooped the raw salmon with a gloved hand then used the same hand to scoop our toppings. I explained that it was cross contamination & she didn't seem to care. Her reply was just "okay". We then decided that it's really not worth it to buy food from there so we left and went next door to L&L. I hope this establishment does this well because I do not want to pay $20 or more for hweduhpbahp (korean raw fish bowl). The medium is two proteins and large is 3. Also, toppings and add ons are all complimentary and unlimited, most poke places allow you to pick 3 or 4. But ic poke let me put all of the add ons! Minus avocado it is a $1 extra. The raw fish was very fresh, and they were cut in perfect squares. We had gotten ahi tuna and salmon. For our base we did a split between salad and brown rice. The other choice is noodles. For toppings, I put everything on it. The sauce we used was ponzu sauce. Very delicious, I'm glad this store opened as there are not many poke places in the south sound, unlike seattle. This place is so cute! We came in around 630/7p for dinner and the place was nice and empty. We prefer going somewhere a little quieter after being at work and driving thru traffic for an hour haha. It was very clean and welcoming. And we'd been craving something light and full of protein. We were attracted to this place for the vast amount of options and proteins available. And the prices are pretty great, as well! We've been a little jaded being in Alaska and dealing with prices there. We both ordered the large bowl that comes with 3 proteins! Amazing! I chose the salmon, ahi tuna and chicken, and my husband had the salmon, spicy tuna, and ahi tuna. We both chose white rice but the brown rice and noodle options looked good, too! I dressed mine with the traditional poke sauce and my husband chose the hot oil and teriyaki. I added seaweed salad, crab salad, masago, sweet and green onion. My husband added sweet onion, seaweed salad, edamame, cucumber, and avocado ($1 extra but the portion was worth it!). I don't understand why this place doesn't have higher reviews. The service was great and she was super friendly. The fish was really tender, fresh and tasty! This place is also at times racist to black customers, when the Asian woman with kid is working. Food is OK, but WAY overpriced. Not worth $15. They take employee tips, if you tip electronically. The customer service can be ok, good, or HORRIBLE if you get the young angry Asian woman behind the counter. She is super rude and puts almost no sauce on the food. You get half the food with her. She ignores you and will walk away without acknowledging you, if you're black. She has a kid with no mask running around the place during COVID. Pretty disgusting. Cross contamination takes place here. Usually, I eat at a place a couple times before I write a review but I doubt I'll be back anytime soon. I was the 4th person in line and there was one employee working while the other (almost positive it was the owner) was watering plants. It took 20 minutes before I was up to place my order. So, I watched everyone in front of me place and pay for orders and noticed the employee never changed the one glove she was wearing on her left hand even after touching EVERYTHING including people's credit cards. I figured, it wasn't so bad bc she was just touching utensils, table tops, peoples cards etc but was NOT directly touching the food. As, she gets to the very last item on my bowl, the avocado, she flips it from the wax paper onto her gloved left hand that had literally touched everything and placed the avocado on my bowl with said hand. ‍ I ended up removing the avocado from my bowl. since the wait itself took up dang near my entire lunch break, I didn't have time to go anywhere else. I ordered the I C poke bowl. I had heard that this place gives poor portions but mine were decent. I asked to remove the seaweed salad and replace it with edamame and avocado. It was okay. I was informed that ic poke is under new management, I gave it a try, so good, place is very clean.

I ordered takeout from here, and I was pleasantly surprised how fast and efficient they were! I ordered a large poke bowl with extra ginger and edamame, as well as a miso soup. Sadly, the miso spilled on the way home, which was a bummer, but what I *did* get to eat of it was delicious! I thought the menu said spicy though, and it definitely wasn't - not that that's a bad thing. The poke bowl had great flavor, and the portion was pretty generous - as was the avocado, which is a plus bc it's a dollar extra. You can taste the freshness, and that's obviously good with poke ;) We'll definitely go back and probably dine in next time - but we'll probably avoid miso to go. read more

they have new boba flavors! i went to pick up some poke for my sister's birthday and she got to try the new boba flavors :) she said the flavors were astronomically good. i think she got a new flavor called purple panda which is ube with chocolate and oreo. i saw that they had one with rose syrup i think? i know this is going to sound fishy because i have a new account and my photos are taken with a dslr, but i swear i don't work for them! i dont even know how to use yelp as a customer -- i literally only added photos and forgot to leave a review the first time around. i'm just a social media manager and i understand how much customer feedback helps :) these people are very sweet and the interior is very clean and aesthetically pleasing aaanddd the food was so good read more
