I was walking in the area & was initially going to a different food spot & didn't realize this was there. Im a huge fan of poke so I was happy to see it. I walked in and was kindly greeted and designed my bowl. They have plenty of toppings and all were delicious. If I could give negative stars I would. I ordered food for our office like I have multiple times. Our order today 2 of the bowls had the proteins mixed up. Not a huge life changing issue but it is a big deal when the bowls are $18-20 and people won't eat the wrong thing. Shouldn't have to. I called them and explained very nicely and calmly what happened x2 times. The guy that answered the phone was obviously very flustered and said I have to call you back. Ok. More than 20 min later I get a call from the same person. He said his manager reviewed the "camera footage" and found that everything was done correctly. So...... I responded with ok but I have the actual bowls here with me and I can provide photos video whatever to show that there was a mistake made. Now i was kind, didn't ask for a refund or them to remake them I was hoping that it would be offered. NOPE instead I got told, " right right well he reviewed the footage and that's what he said," You've gotta be flipping kidding me. I literally have video and photo graphic proof of the issue and this is what I'm being told. I even had our Doctor check to verify I wasn't loosing my mind. I acknowledged that this kid was just relating what his manager stated, he offered to have the manger call me back. It's been 20 more minutes no call and 2 of us haven't eaten on a Monday. We won't be ordering from this place again. I'm still hoping the manager calls back and makes it right but to be basically told well we watched the footage and you're lying.... Food: the food is good! The portions from the looks of it doesn't look to be much but once you open up the container it's packed with lotsa of ingredients. The fish is fresh and I like their toppings. I've been here a few times and will probably be back some more when I'm in the mood for poke. All plus I they have boba!!! Winner winner! I'm telling you, I've ordered from Mix at least 20 times since I've lived in this area. My go to is white rice, spicy tuna, krab salad, edamame, cucumber, avocado, and seaweed salad with a spicy mayo drizzle. So good every time. All of the ingredients they use taste incredibly fresh and with how many times I've ordered, it's always been consistent. Have never had a bad bowl or a complaint! As mentioned, I've only ever ordered delivery from here so I can't speak to the in-store experience. I tried to give this place a second chance and it was worse than before. When my food arrived via DoorDash , it looked like wet cat food. I ordered spicy tuna and ahi. Typically, spicy tuna is ahi chunks with oil and something spicy such as togarashi or sriracha. It smelled fishy so that told me the fish wasn't fresh. I ate a few bites and had to toss it. After months of contemplating it we finally decided to try this place out. We read a few reviews and thought, eeeh they aren't always accurate let's still give it a shot! I feel that every poke place can be different, from their style of protein to toppings etc. This place was different than other poke places we've been too but we enjoyed it! It was a bit more on the more expensive side but honestly, it's getting quite expensive everywhere now a days. We liked how you can see all the options in front of you & that you can choose all the toppings if you wish. It surprised me how they mix the sauce in with your protein and some toppings but I loved that! Really helps with not making a mess when I'm trying to mix it in the car . The protein options were good. Good sauce options as well (just wish they had eel type sauce). They had a variety of toppings & they were all good. were very pleased with the customer service! Such a disappointment for being the first Poke restaurant in Puyallup. Prices are high, portions are tiny, flavors are mediocre. We ordered the Large size which comes with three proteins... I can honestly count each single protein on one hand. The Take Out containers are all the same size despite the "serving" you buy. I would honestly drive out to Tacoma, Kent, heck even Seattle, to get the most bang out of my buck for Poke. Their menu offers many choices for me with 5 (or 6) steps, from choosing bottom layer of white or brown rice or fresh greens (I mix white rice with greens) . .Protein choices are next with ahi, salmon, spicy salmon, y'all and others. Depending on size you can get 2-? Proteins (I get regular size with 2 proteins), and many more add-ins. It's so good and tastes fresh. This is our "go-to" place to eat when we're in Puyallup (where our grandkiddos live )!!! read more

We tried this place probably 3 times before making a final decision that we wont be back. The serving size is TINY. The amount of protein is ridiculously small. The add ons cannot be doubled up, so (for example) you get a whopping 3 edamame when you ask for that. The tiny scoop they use, they dont even fill! Every item they give is like that, too small and way too expensive. On our first trip I wasnt sure what kind of sauce Id want on my bowl, asked to try 2... was made to pay for the extra sauce and choose one to go on the bowl (and just hope I liked it.) Couldnt try it while in store to be sure before putting on the bowl. No one has ever been friendly when here, they ask what they can get me, and thats that. No real customer service. read more
