Honestly one of the best cones I've ever had and it completely elevated the ice cream. So of course I had to visit and get some of the best ice cream ever!!! I lived in Youngstown Ohio, and Handel's was a local staple! Anytime I visit my family in Youngstown, We always visit Handel's too, maybe two or three times. A traditional Handel's location only has walk up window ordering available. But to my surprise, This location on Anderson Mill had an indoor ordering option. My son and I ordered. He got a scoop of chocolate and then I got the sampler bowl that comes with four small scoops. The sampler Bowl is such a great deal. I ordered the pistachio, horchata, butter pecan, and chocoholic. And it did not disappoint. There is something very special about this ice cream and I am just so excited to have found them here. I talked to the owner while I was there and he told me the story on how they came to open this location about 3 years ago. He also mentioned that he is opening his second location further north very soon. That makes my heart so happy!!! And my belly Anywho, Even though this location is almost 40 minutes from my home, It is worth the drive until they open the location closer to me.
