Not super impressed overall. I found this company on wedding wire and booked them due to their high rating and the fact that they travel. While both makeup/hair artists were very polite and nice, they used drug store makeup. For the amount of money it cost me to have them do hair and makeup for 8 people, ( over $1000) they should at least be using quality products. Many of the girls wiped their faces clean after and reapplied their own makeup because it was so poorly done, in my opinion mostly due to the low quality product. The hair on the other hand was perfect. Everyone loved their up-dos, and that is the reason I rated up from 2 stars to 3. My other issue is that I was not offered a trial for my hair or makeup because they have no salon, so it was a little hectic on the day of the wedding not having already done it once. I hired and paid for services only for her to give me someone who wasn't a license cosmetologist to do hair and make up. She has assigned a lady who was a nail tech in training at a local school. Nails techs may not perform hair services When Contacted the owner about it instead of sending someone who is Licensed to do hair in the state of Maine. Said she had no one to send and then said she would refund my money only to send a couple hundred back. State has been contacted as you may not pay for hair services in the state of maine without a license to do so. Please use caution and make sure you ask for stylist info so you can make sure they are licensed to perform services other wise you will be scammed out of your money! read more

DO NOT HIRE!! I would give 0 stars If I could. From the moment I paid my deposit, working with her became increasingly difficult. She had multiple artists back out or cancel, which I completely understood and accommodated each time. However, she consistently blamed these issues on my wedding location--a semi-remote part of New England that she was fully aware of when she accepted my booking. After months of these problems, she ultimately cancelled our contract entirely due to yet another scheduling conflict. Despite providing no actual services beyond her own failed scheduling attempts, she has kept my deposit. I understand that vendors face legitimate challenges, and I made every effort to be flexible and understanding. But the pattern of deflecting responsibility, the repeated inability to fulfill her commitment, and keeping payment for services never rendered raises serious concerns about her reliability and business practices. If you're considering this vendor, particularly for a wedding outside a major city, I'd carefully weigh whether she can actually deliver on her promises. read more

They did an amazing job for my wedding this weekend!!! All my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup. Our wedding party had mixed ages and each look matched them perfectly!! None of us had any pictures to go by but she knew just what to do to make us look beautiful. She arrived right on time and finished early! High end quality products were used and hair and makeup lasted all night! I could not be any happier with their service! Ive delayed in writing a review because I have such trauma from I Do Spas & they honestly took away from my wedding day. We had a terrible trial, Jessica, just really unable to work with extensions, curl my hair, and made me feel bad for her spending extra time. She spent 5 mins on my makeup and didn't do anything to my eyes. I emailed Jody to try another stylist or to find another time when I was in Maine and she ignored my questions. I ended up going with my gut and found a new hair and makeup artist 3 weeks before my wedding (stressful & nearly impossible to book someone that late but worth it). On my wedding day- many of my bridesmaids had to redo their hair by themselves. They used very cheap makeup from the discount rack. They were upset that I chose someone else and they FOLLOWED MY SISTER INTO HER HOTEL ROOM to talk. I paid them to stay for extra time for touch ups and they LEFT because they were mad I didn't choose them. I also didn't get ready with my bridesmaid bc there was only 3 seats in the getting ready room so i had my new hairstylist and makeup artist come to my hotel room. Which makes me so sad to think about. They hassled my Mom and me and came to the door of my hotel room to talk about why I didn't choose them. I was getting pictures taken with my mom when Jody called me, I told her it was very unprofessional and I wouldn't talk to her about the situation on my wedding day while taking pics. They never refunded the hundreds of dollars I spend for that extra touch up time. They had such a bad attitude while doing my bridesmaids hair-it was so sad that they acted that way on my wedding day. Honestly if I could get it less than 1 star I would. The lady Jody is so extremely rude and unprofessional. When starting the booking process, she was unwilling to answer questions I had about the contract. Jody told me to "read the 2 emails she happened to already send me" rather than answering any question or be helpful. After reading the very strict contract and dealing with how unwilling she was to answer questions. I decided not to book with her. A month later she calls me and asks where my contract was. I simply told her we decided not to go with her services. THEN she sends me a nasty email telling me I wasted her time and that her artist held my date for my wedding. If you want to pay a big bucks for cheap makeup application and be disappointed at the way you look on your wedding day look no further! I do spas charged me $140 per person for 5 people total, when the girl that Jody Newman (the owner) sent to me and my girls hair and makeup on my wedding day, Bianca (do not request her) she laid out some cheap makeup using Elf as her foundation! Sure nothing wrong with people using them but not when they are paying a good sum of money and it's their wedding day! So I can attest to what Katimae the reviewer before me states about this company using cheap drugstore makeup that does not match the quality of service and products you expect to be done and used. Two of my girls also did what Katimae girls did, which was wiped of the makeup Bianca had applied and used their own makeup. Bianca didn't even get to do one of my girls makeup which we paid for. When she got to me I asked her to make sure she covered my freckles because I am able to do so with my makeup, after she applied her cheap foundation on me I looked in the mirror at disgust and I quickly went to put my own foundation and concealer on. She was so surprised as how I was able to do it, it was only freckles it's not like I had acne or something harder to cover up. That right there confirmed to me that this girl was incompetent. By the time she was done I was already about 15 minutes late for my own ceremony, I didn't even have time to fix up my blush or my eye makeup that I was not happy with. I looked at some pictures of what people took from their phones of me and I looked like a worn down bride! Such an awful experience not only did I lose out on paying $140 per person but also I am dreading on seeing my photos and videos that I spent a ton of money on because of Bianca's poor skills! When I emailed the owner about me and my girls experience and requesting money back for the makeup service she did not fulfill on one of my girls, the owner Jody the owner replies defending Bianca and trying to put the blame on me and my girls, she tells me that Bianca states my girls were hungover and I caused a lot of stress and my girls were talking behind my back and she was not going to give me a refund!
