Outside, we also saw a turkey, horses, cows, and a pig. We visited around 11:30 a.m. on a Friday, and at one point we had the entire barn to ourselves, which made it especially enjoyable with our little one. Storytime for little ones is offered on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:30 a.m. After visiting the animals, we explored the produce market and were impressed by the variety. They had fresh fruits and vegetables, delicious pastries, breads, jams, and lots of other tasty snacks to browse. If it's your first visit, I'd recommend going during one of their scheduled activities so you can experience the tractor ride as well. Prices have definitely gone up -- weekend entry is around $20 -- so if you want to avoid the chaos, I 100% recommend going Monday through Thursday. Fridays through Sundays are packed. You end up parking what feels like miles away, and then you either hike it in or hop on the free shuttle. Inside, it's basically a mini fair. They've got tons of attractions, a corn maze (but heads up -- that closes early, so get there before 5 p.m.), carnival-style games, and a whole food court with all the classic fair treats. My go-to is always the kettle corn. There are tons of cute photo ops too, but if you go on a weekend, prepare to wait in line for those -- Instagram has made this place way too famous. MY NEW FAVORITE PLANT NURSRY!!!!!…read more I used to go to those commercialized stores to buy small indoor plants, but I have noticed those stores don't carry a lot of different varieties and tend to limit their supply only for some of the popular ones we usually see in the neighbor's front yard. However, since becoming a plant person in 2020, I decided to turn my little office space into a garden and better feng shui as well. So I was SURPRISED to find this hidden gem in Claremont on our lazy Saturday afternoon stroll in the neighborhood. Once I stepped inside of the nursery, I was so excited that I explored every single corner of the nursery to make sure I did not miss anything they have to offer!!! I showed the owner a plant I have been searching everywhere for and she was like, oh yeah, its right here! this little one. I was then mesmerized... or tunnel visioned ... narrowed in on the plant itself. It was truly a happy moment for me. I can't wait to bring her home and be her best plant parent!
