There's something for everyone: a giant pumpkin patch, gorgeous sunflower fields, a fun petting farm, and tons of great food and activities. The sunflower fields were one of my favorite part -- absolutely beautiful and perfect for photos. The petting farm was such a cute touch too (the sheep definitely stole the show). You can tell the students really put their heart into making the whole event feel welcoming and organized. We also stopped by the Farm Store on our way out and stocked up on fresh produce, wine (they grow their own grapes!), and some amazing pumpkin bread.

Got there when the event first open, crowd was too massive and was able to take some really great pictures in the Pumpkin area. The petting zoo was really fun- Goats and herds of sheep were walking around the petting area awaiting to be fed (really liked the cleaning station near the exit for easy hand washing), animals were really mellow- which created a fun environment for kids. Agreed with some reviews; the entrance fee is a bit pricey, though I did enjoy this festival

Admission was only $6 per person, and children under 2 are free, which makes it an affordable outing for families. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They answered our questions and gave us information about the farm. The barn is on the smaller side, but there were still plenty of animals to see, including ponies, goats, chickens, and sheep. Outside, we also saw a turkey, horses, cows, and a pig. We visited around 11:30 a.m. on a Friday, and at one point we had the entire barn to ourselves, which made it especially enjoyable with our little one. Storytime for little ones is offered on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:30 a.m. After visiting the animals, we explored the produce market and were impressed by the variety. They had fresh fruits and vegetables, delicious pastries, breads, jams, and lots of other tasty snacks to browse. If it's your first visit, I'd recommend going during one of their scheduled activities so you can experience the tractor ride as well. There was plenty of parking, and I appreciated that they had a changing table available for babies and toddlers, which made the visit even more family-friendly. Overall, it was a relaxing, low-key outing that's perfect for families with young children. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back to experience more of what Tanaka Farms has to offer!

Parking was free and if you get there early, you get some close parking as well. Price of admission is really good, staff was friendly and professional. Restrooms are decent but they are not permanent(rental type restrooms). Besides being a seasonal pumpkin patch/ sunflower farm, they also have a small food fair with many options for fair food and drinks and some games for kids. Definitely recommend this place for everyone during the fall! Can't wait to go back.

Prices have definitely gone up -- weekend entry is around $20 -- so if you want to avoid the chaos, I 100% recommend going Monday through Thursday. Fridays through Sundays are packed. You end up parking what feels like miles away, and then you either hike it in or hop on the free shuttle. Inside, it's basically a mini fair. They've got tons of attractions, a corn maze (but heads up -- that closes early, so get there before 5 p.m.), carnival-style games, and a whole food court with all the classic fair treats. My go-to is always the kettle corn. There are tons of cute photo ops too, but if you go on a weekend, prepare to wait in line for those -- Instagram has made this place way too famous. Closer to Halloween, the crowds get wild. All that said, it's beautiful, festive, and absolutely worth checking out. Just plan ahead, expect crowds, and be ready for higher prices.

Luckily this was a free event to enter but games and rides was $1 per ticket. And you had to park across the street at the plaza. It was busy so parking was scarce! It was on the back of the card scan the QR code and it was that simple. They had animals you could feed. Which cacey my daughter was scared but she did it and overcame her fear. The only reason I came was to see my daughter and make sure she knew her dad came like I said I would. The place was packed so I'll highly recommend to come early and save up for this one because if you coming with a family of 3 or 4 the tickets will run out fast. But I do recommend this. I give it a 4 because they need to do better at the parking giving discounts for veterans

The $45 per person covers entry, in addition to one apple cider can (a pretty large one), an apple treat (we got apple pie made at a local bakery), and a bag of apples. We got there about half an hour before opening and were one of the first ones there, which was helpful when choosing/picking apples as later on the farm got busier. The apples were a fair size--lots of damaged ones but I'm sure that means they don't use any pesticides or anything. The farm also had two cute and friendly kitties that came up to us! Overall, I would recommend this farm for a nice little getaway from LA city life. I would recommend booking a reservation and arriving early, as parking can get packed and the farm does get pretty busy.

We bought 2 bags ($25 each), which they said could hold around 6 pounds of apples each. I loved picking apples at this farm! In the past we went apple picking at one of the nearby, bigger apple farms, but we enjoyed this one a lot! It's smaller than the more popular ones nearby, but I liked how it wasn't crowded. We were able to take our time picking apples, and we were able to find lots of red, juicy apples to bring home! There was a cute, friendly cat on the farm along with a pig and 2 mini horses. The scenery nearby was so pretty, and there were plenty of trees to pick apples from. I really enjoyed my experience, and would love to come back next year!
