I will never ever go back here again! I got my nails done last Friday and a nail broke on Sunday from just vacuuming my car. Contacted the owner and she stated that she would fix it when they reopened on Tuesday. Upon entering, I stated to the owner and the nail tech that I needed more acrylic on them to make them harder. Completely ignored my request and so-called fixed the original broken nail. Well the repair looks so unprofessionally done and ugly. But I was like okay...I'll just go somewhere else in two weeks. As if that wasn't enough two days later another nail broke. This is so unacceptable! I've wasted so much time and money with this nail shop. I don't have money to be wasting like that. I asked for nail design from a pic and after numerous tries its not even close plus my gel polish on my toes has bubbles all in it

I went against my better instincts after seeing the bad reviews and went to this shop. I was in Columbus visiting family and it was close to where we were staying. MISTAKE! I asked for a fill with gel polish, and a pedicure, also with gel polish. The young lady who did my pedicure took over 2 hours! Not a typo...2 hours. The water was luke warm when she started and cold by the time she finished. I'm pretty sure she wasn't licensed. She did a terrible job. She asked me 4 times which pedicure I wanted. I picked the one for $35. A different woman did my fill. When I asked the other lady if she would be doing my fill, she said she was still working on doing nails! WTH! I didn't ask for someone in training. When I asked the second lady how long she'd been doing nails, her reply was... for a minute now. What does that mean? I asked for square round shape. They are square and I could cut bread with them they are so sharp. They are also paper thin. She broke one of my nails in the process and instead of putting on a new tip, she glued it. The acrylic is so thin the gel on the nail was the only thing holding it together. It broke that evening. I went in at 1:30pm and left when they closed at 5pm. I gave up when she couldn't get the shape right. She never touched my cuticles. At this point I'd been at the shop for over 3 hours and I just wanted it to end. When she told me it was $105 I was shocked! I called and spoke to the owner, Kim. She informed me that gel is $20 dollars extra. I pay $7 extra for gel in my home state. So basically I paid $40 just for the polish. How is this place even still open. NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN! I'm disappointed to have to give this place 1 star!! read more

The final product was beautiful but staff were not friendly and I felt like i was being a bother simply because i had a specific idea of what i wanted. I was told things like "you didn't make an appointment?" "Do you have a cupon this is going to be expensive!" "Are you always this picky when it comes to nails?" Simply because i wanted a specific design i found online. I would have rather been told no than being told yes only to then receive grumpy costumer service. I had an expired gift card. I asked the young lady before starting my nails if I could use it. (I would have gone to a different store otherwise. I've discovered in the past that the young girls that work there are very inexperienced.) The young lady about to do my nails said I could use it. As I went to pay, she charged me full price. I asked about the gift card. She went to the owner to fix the error and the owner told me I couldn't use it. So, I ended up paying full price for nails that are not the quality I wanted. (Very chunky acrylic with acrylic still left on the underside of the nail) Overall a very disheartening experience. I will not be going back there and do not recommend going there for quality work. Although the owner is very good at doing nails. I disagree with her business practice. If an employee acknowledged to accept the gift card, it should have been accepted. read more

Deducting one star automatically because I called to make an appointment for Saturday and was told they don't take appointments on weekends. So I went and waited for OVER AN HOUR when they kept saying they were 'almost done'. The shop was clean. Prices are decent. The nail tech did ok. I got a gel manicure, which I have been getting for 2 years now and they have always lasted at least a week before any chipping. This one lasted 24 hours before my thumb started to peel and by 48 hours it had torn off. They do have a 3 day guarantee on their work but I couldn't get another babysitter to go get it fixed. My friend and I made plans to get our nails done and she has been going to this place because she loves the way the owner does her achrilic nails, so I agreed to go there and she made us an APPOINTMENT FOR 3:45 TUESDAY, AUGUST 6th! I had been looking very much forward to it because I'm a stay at home mom and I RARELY get "ME" Time for pampering myself and my 10 Year anniversary trip is this week. We show up on time at 3:30 pm and sign in. We sat and waited patiently for a few minutes and my friend gets called to start her nails. I sit next to her while she's getting her nails done by the owner and I patiently waited wishing that we could both be getting our nails done at the SAME time like we planned. Well 30 minutes go by and finally a heavy set woman walks up to me and asks me what I need done and I tell her a gel manicure and a gel pedicure. She was very unenthused and said that she couldn't do gel on my toes because she had somewhere to be at 5:00. I was literally mind blown that I asked for a service and was being told no because "she had somewhere to be!" My mood instantly went down hill because this was already not an enjoyable experience! I went to the nail station (all the way across the room from my friend getting her nails done.) and we awkwardly get started. I asked for a manicure (because my cuticles & hands are DRY And I really wanted the pampering) and she literally looked at me and told me I didn't need one and I just needed to moisturize my cuticles... ummmm I ASKED FOR A MANICURE JUST GIVE ME A MANICURE! She was in a hurry and it was VERY obvious. So she puts the gel polish on my nails and after she finishes my nails I go to the pedicure station. By then my friend is done with her nails and she's sitting next to me in the chairs and we are carrying on a good conversation. I look down and the lady is painting my nails with regular polish WHEN I ASKED SEVERAL TIMES FOR **GEL POLISH!!!** I told her I wanted GEL, and again she looked at me and tells me she doesn't have time. I didn't even get a pedicure! I am mind blown at the Customer service of this place and I will not be going back. I didn't get anything I asked for and that's the first time I've ever gone to a nail salon and been DENIED services when I AM A PAYING CUSTOMER! That is unprofessional and very rude. I am still in disbelief that I was treated the way this woman treated me... I felt like I didn't matter! Don't waste your time here because it is not relaxing and you will be disappointed! I'm doing two separate reviews because my experience was different with the different services. I went on Saturday April 25th,2020 and I got a pedicure and an overlay. The young woman who did my overlay was very polite but I was not satisfied. I asked her to file my nails down and I was given a look and she barely refiled my right thumb nail. I had already at for a long time(not they're fault) and I'm non confrontational especially when has to do with services for me so I let it be. My nails are thick and uneven after specifying that I wanted a natural overlay. The young women asked if I wanted regular acrylic or solar acrylic(which would last longer and cost extra) and I said I would stick with regular. I then asked my sister why I paid $75 for my complete total and she was told by the tech that I was charged for the natural acrylic. I didn't not drive myself so I could not turn around but I would not recommend going to that tech. I have attached pictures of my nails. The red is from some hair dye. read more

Rude! Nasty! Confrontational owner! I had been there before & the owner Kim was nice enough. She did my nails and did a great job. So, I scheduled my nails to be maintained for two weeks out. i had a last minute business trip & realized that I would not be back in time for the appointment. I called and reschedule specifically for the Friday afternoon. Instead of the girl on the other end of the phone explaining only walkins I was told they moved my appointment to Friday at 2. When I got off the plane the day before I called again to confirm the appointment and time. I was told 2 pm. Perfect! Or so I thought. Again the girl on the other end of the phone did not notify me of walki only for Friday and Saturdays!! I arrived early at the salon, signed in when a young girl showed me the sign in sheet, explained I had an appointmen, signed the sheet, put Kim's name down, and wrote 2pm appointment. Again! No one informed me there were zero appointments made for Friday and Saturdays!! I sit there while Kim finishes with her client. There we're three other girls in the salon sitting around waiting for clients to walk-in. So four nail techs with one client waiting and one client being taken care of. After about 25 minutes Kim comes over, picks the sign in sheet up, looks at me and says we don't do appointments on Fridays! I said ok, but I called and rescheduled for today & then called again to confirm my time. She went over and looked at her appointment book (like I was lying, even though I had pulled up both calls to their number from my call log). So she sat back down and nothing else was said. I figured she just had a new girl who maybe gave me incorrect info. No biggie! Boy was I wrong! So the first client was finished. Kim came over and said what nails would you like? Looked at mine & said I don't remember which type you did last time. I said Solar. She asked color? I said yes. She pointed at a basket and said those are the colors. Ok! Great! So I pick a color out. I show her when she asks & she went to look for it. She then came back and let me know that was an old color and they didn't carry it, then helped me pick a different color. Great! Well not great! She all of a sudden started in on me! Confrontational! Telling me that I had an attitude and asking me questions about my appointment. Telling me no one there rescheduled me. The more confrontational she was the more I really didn't want her to do my nails. I said why are we still revisiting the appointment mishap & she was still stuck on me trying to show her where I had called. After a few minutes of listening to her talk down to me and be rude I just stated there was no reason to stay I was just going elsewhere! Then the salon has zero customers! Then after reading more reviews I see I am not the only customer she's done that too! Whew! read more

Can I please give them six stars? I had a great experience at this salon. I arrived at lunchtime on a weekday. They said it would be about five minutes and it was really only about two minutes. I got a regular manicure (no gel). The tech used a fresh set of tools and the salon was very well-maintained. The manager was constantly picking up used towels and replacing them with fresh ones, wiping down surfaces with disinfectant, etc. My tech really took his time to give me a great manicure. He really focused on the details. The price was fair for the area and the service I received. My nails are very pretty, and I'll definitely be going back. read more

I went to I heart nails after getting referred from the Facebook group for Fort Benning Spouses. I went on a friday, fairly early - 11ish. I got right in, no problem. I had a younger man as my tech. He wrapped my nails and disappeared for 30 or so minuets, when he returned he started to remove my gel. No issues. I normally get a gel manicure with french. I explained to him multiple times that I like the white tip thicker than normal. Unfortunately because of the language barrier, he had difficulty understanding what I meant. He asked for help from another tech and then continued on. In the end, my nails did not come out how I expected. The white tip bubbled due to the multiple layers of white he applied. I went ahead and wrote a review on their FB page about my experience and the owner, Kim addressed it. Kim asked that I come back in to fix the issue and have my nails re-done. I traveled the 40 minuets the very next day, on Saturday to get my nails re-done. Kim sat me right down and began the process of removing the gel from my nails. We discussed my review and she asked me multiple times to remove my review. I assured her I would remove my review after she was done with my nails. Throughout the entire process she was kind and fixed my nails. Prior to leaving she asked again for me to remove the review on FB. I kindly removed the review, however I wanted to make sure other nail goers are aware of my visit and experience. I will visit again, but, unfortunately I will be upset about my first AND second experience. I wish Kim luck in her business. read more

Terrible experience at this nail salon, Kim is extremely rude and think her way of doing nails is the only way, this is bad when your spending your money. She did a horrible job on my nails I had to take them off. I do not recommend this nail salon and will not go back. I went here a few days ago, it's right near my house, prices were reasonable, but the service was very slow, I had a gel manicure on my nails and they took 45 minutes To file the old gel polish off, they didn't let it soak off in foil like normal, at one hour and 20 minutes into my new gel manicure that I originally wanted I finally got up and said I i need to leave, I was not about to wait another hour for her to paint my nails, I'm not sure if the tech was new or what was going on, but it was the slowest manicure of my Life. I had a 4:00 appointment at the nail salon. I arrived about ten minutes before my appointment time. When I walked in, there were clients already waiting. As the nail tech I usually finished up a client she instructed me to sit at her the table. The very RUDE owner nastily said "they were here before you". I let her know that I made an appointment for 4pm. She then stated the client going in front of me was a child and she was "only getting polish". That's besides the point! If I took my time to make an appointment for a specific time, I should be seen at the time of my appointment. You just don't put someone in someone else place without ASKING them. Extremely unprofessional. I love the girls there, but Kim is rude and inconsiderate of the client's time. At the end of my service I expressed my concerns to Kim and she stated "when you go to a doctor's office are you seen at your appointment time"? This is a nail salon so that question was irrelevant. They do an amazing job and do not rush, they have experience where as alot of the other places I've been it seemed they were new and had little to no experience in a nail salon. I rarely post but with such a big expectation based off reviews I felt obligated to share my experience. I went to I Heart Nails on Saturday, May 1st. The website stated they opened at 10 am but the techs come in any time after 10 am...so, I was the 4th person in the door at 10 am. After 1 hour and 30 mins wait...I was told to sit at pedicure chair. FYI: I was only there for gel nail and toe polish change....15 mins later the Asian lady at station number one was done with her client and called two women after me to get serviced next. Ok, so one lady went to a nail table where she just finished, and one maybe had a wax service in the back. It is walk in only on Saturday's, so I am still confused why I was still waiting for the next available tech. Anyway, I left (no-one apologized or asked why I was leaving after 1 1/2 hour wait) and I did not receive any service at all. Maybe it was because I wasn't spending over $100 on my service but I was still just as important. I really loved the photos I saw online, and this business was close to my house. My nail broke and I was trying to get my nail fixed before I went to my first day at a new job. I ended up going to Golden nails and I was in and out in less than 1 hour. I did not get the look I was searching for like I Heart Nails but at least I was treated professionally and important. I will try again...maybe. read more

Not satisfied at all. I got a gelish manicure and normal pedicure done. I came earlier to my appointment but was ok to wait. As soon as the lady takes care of me she tells me rudely that next time if their is customers who have an appointment before me I will wait. Then she's asking me about my origins. I came here after a very very disappointing mani with Posh down the street. The owner was so incredibly nice to me, very easy to talk to and so good at what she does! I got a gel manicure along with a exfoliation for my hand and arm for an extra $5. I paid less than $35 for a gel mani and the exfoliation. They have a huge selection of gel nails and Kim would recommend a different brand on natural nails or acrylic nails, she's a pro! Will be back :) read more

HORRIBLE DISRESPECTFUL COMPANY. I was getting my nails done there. I asked for an overlay which is no tip but acrylic over my natural nail. The technician was not doing my nail right so i had my friend show an example of how I wanted my nail to be was an acrylic over my nail with the shortest extension of the acrylic to which the owner turns around and says she doesn't do that there and her worker which is an African American that was working with another client says "y'all should've went to star nails" which is a predominantly African America nail shop. Great service! I have a problem with my ankle that is painful to touch. I always explain when I get a pedi that my right ankle hurts so please be gentle. I will start off with the positives first. The salon is set up beautifully and was very clean. The staff immediately welcomed me and was friendly. The nail technician that did my pedicure was quiet but friendly. She really took her time to give the best manicure she was able to give. But from the beginning I noticed that she was struggling. After asking I find out she has 2 weeks of experience being a nail technician with no schooling, this salon has been supposedly training her. Throughout the pedicure you could tell she was unsure of how to handle the foot to get to the toe needed. How much pressure was needed to really scrub the callous off. My toenails were cut somewhat uneven and were not filed right. While painting the nails she got nail polish all over my skin and had to clean them up with acetone. I will admit my nails are tiny, but I have never seen such struggle painting them. Sometimes she would need to put more polish on because she cleaned some off the nail as well. The polish is bumpy in areas because she had to keep coming back and adding polish. What should have been an 1 hour pedicure became 2 hours. This partially negative review is not toward the nail technician at all but toward the salon who is suppose to be training her. During my pedicure all of the staff was in the back room or playing on the phone not paying attention to how she was doing. So how is this training? This nail technician really did try her best and deserved the tip I gave her. But I feel that if she wants to become really good at doing this she needs to get better training that I do not think she will receive at this salon. Also it would have been nice to be told initially that she was still in the training phase, pedicures are not cheap even when you are given 10% off. And the pedicure I received that day was not worth what I paid. Normally pedicures last 2 months for me but this one will probably get redone in a couple weeks because I do not like the un smooth look of the polish.
