Almost immediately after my display had a white spot, front camera was blurry and typing was not cohesive.I got home and called him and he said he would fix it and put on a better screen. I was confused as to why he wouldn't ha done that in the first place.He would change it no extra charge to the screen that was "supposed" to be on there. I also asked about changing my battery also because the battery life had diminished because I use it for work. He said he would order the battery and replace my screen again. My husband wanted to get his battery replaced also. We went the next day and got the screen replaced and batteries changed. Once walking out I realized my phone could no longer read my Face ID. I went back in and he changed it again. It's been a week and it's been soooo frustrating. My phone constantly overheats, my display barely recognizes taps, my battery won't stay charged at all and this phone is pretty much worthless. I was greeted immediately on both visits with a pleasant professional demeanor. I came into Kintech to get my dad's iPhone 5's battery fixed. The battery kept dying within minutes of being charged. Even after it was charged to100%. I took the iPhone to Kintech because of a recommendation and I got excellent service. Unfortunately the phone was worse this time. However, I took the phone back and they replaced the battery free of any additional cost and gave great customer service. If it wasn't for my friend, I wouldn't have ever known about Kintech. It might be a little out of the way for people that are not from that part of town but it's really a cool shop. It's great for cell phone repair with good service which is really hard to come by. The top right edge of the screen didn't seem properly aligned but everything was working fine (and I made the mistake of saying I didn't need my receipt) so I left it as is. Over the past months the screen has just come undone from the phone entirely. The camera is fuzzy, Face ID no longer works, and the screen will often stop responding to touch. If you have the money for it get your screen replaced by apple directly, it might cost a bit more but at least you can be certain the screen works and you will be able to trade your phone in at a later time for a discount. Apple won't take any old phones unless it has a "certified apple" screen.

This is a lovely little cell phone store right next to my gym, which offers very cheap service and pretty decent prices on repairs and accessories and whatnot. It's definitely cheaper than the likes of a Verizon store or not. I think they offered Cricket last time I checked, but in general it's a good little store for a low-income area and exactly what the area needs. And the fact that it's 30 seconds walk from the door of my gym makes it even better.
