Horrible, he used a used screen to fix my phone i had to return the phone twice because lines were appearing on the screen without dropping or cracking my screen when I asked for the screen to be replaced he said no because I may have damaged it even though the first time he repaired my screen it had the same issue. the NEXT day :-( the kicker is that when I took it too Apple they charged me more to fix because I used an un authorized service provider this is when they told me that the phone screen was used and cheap from China, don't waste your time or money fixing your phone TWICE here.. read more

Harris was friendly but the screen work was shoddy on my iPhone 7. They left the red plastic from the screen packaging inside the phone which could cause my phone to overheat. Screws from the inside were missing as well. The top portion of the screen stopped working and it is way out of my way to go back and have them repair it. I'm sure they would've made good on their work but I wouldn't go back. The hours were convenient and price was good but as a professional that puts high demand on my phone to be operable, this simply isn't the place to go for me. read more

I went to HEB to grab a few items and as I walked in the building I noticed a small cell phone shop to my right. I had been looking for a place to have my daughters cell phone activated with a new pre paid phone company, because I was tired of paying a high bill to a "big" company, opposed to a pre paid unlimited talk & text for $25 a month. I approached a young man working on a iPhone 5s that one of his customers left for him to repair. I told him what I needed and he seemed glad and eager to help, which made me eager to do business with him. The small space/booth is clean, neat & well organized and they also do repairs, sell accessories and take payments, I was glad I stopped. It's little places like this that start off small and end up relocating to a bigger place because of their customer service. We took my son's iPhone 8 in and the camera was working perfectly, even with the cracked screen. I had them replace the screen and unfortunately my son didn't check the camera until he got home. We took the phone back and they took the screen off and worked on the camera. They got it to partially working but the camera is flickering constantly that we cannot take pictures. The person doing the repair told us it was a software issue and they couldn't do anything. We've done everything software wise and still camera is not working properly. Would not recommend this mall kiosk business. read more

I cracked the screen on my Moto G. I went to this shop and asked if they could fix my phone. They said yes, that they needed to order the part first. I gave them my phone number and they assured me that they would call me the next day once the part arrived. Two days later I went into the shop for an update. The older gentleman told me that the younger guy I spoke with would be in at 2pm. I gave him my number and he assured me that they would call with an update. The next day, having heard nothing, I went back to the shop. The guy that I worked with originally told me that he couldn't fix the phone because he couldn't source the part locally. He said that I could go online for the part but that he would not be liable if it didn't work. WHAT? If they had just called me and told me that they couldn't fix the phone I would have been OK. I respect the fact that they can't fix my phone. What I don't think is acceptable is that I had to chase them down at every turn for an update. read more

Principles matter and with the Kempwood location, principles are practiced! I bought an iPhone 7 retina there 2 weeks ago, they said there were no problems with it. I warned them before I bought it that if there is a problem I will be back. 2 days after purchasing, I was showing my adult kids the phone, they noticed a cracked lens. You had to hold it a certian way to see it. Today I went there, Sam remembered me (although I did have the receipt in hand) and within 1 hour replaced the lens at no charge thus HONORING THEIR WORDS THAT THERE IS NO PROBLEM WITH THE PHONE. No matter who you are, principles matter and go a long way with me. They will have my repeat business. I recommend they have yours too. read more

I smashed my phone screen and after shopping around I went to Cellphonia because I live across the street. They were great. I left my phone at the shop and chilled at Starbucks for 45 minutes. It was good to go and I had a 7 day warranty. The glass looked different from the original screen but I got used to it in a few hours. Two days later i pulled my phone out of my pocket and there's a small crack around the speaker. Few hours later there's two cracks going all the way across my screen. I went back tonight and they didn't honor my warranty and kept me telling the warranty doesn't cover physical damage, which happened because I dropped my phone. My phone never touched the ground, not even carpet. Maybe they're good at what they do, but they source really cheap parts that will not stand heavy use. I'd rather pay double for a quality product that will not fall apart in less than a week. read more

I would never ever purchase from this place again. I went there at the end of April and told the guy that I want a 32gb phone because the one that I had was a 16gb and I ran out of space. He charged me $200 and I just found out after my friend showed me how to check the storage that I was sold another 16gb phone. I went there yesterday and they are only wanting to pay $130 to buy the phone back or I would have to pay $283 more on top of the $200 that I already paid to get a 32gb phone.
