I originally was calling around to get quotes on phone repairs for an iPhone screen but no other store answered (keep in mind.. this is days after the hurricane). Isidor called me back within seconds. I asked for a quote on getting a screen replaced that was previously replaced elsewhere . He asked if he could talk me through a couple steps (clicking and holding a few buttons) and my phone powered back on! This business has one remote technician named Ezequiel Campos, who I believe is also the owner. He took $180 from me through Cash App but was unable to fix my phone. When I asked for a refund, he blocked me on Facebook and WhatsApp. He is a complete scammer. Never, ever do business with this guy. The owner of this shop is top notch. Ran into a communication issue with the repair, where the price and scope of work were not initially clear. Left the issue unresolved with one of the employees over the phone as it was closing time, with full intent to follow up the next morning with the owner directly. Was pretty anxious having left my device there overnight. Well, didn't even need to call the next day. Isidor the owner called me almost as soon as they opened, had already dealt with the issue, and actually apologized for the miscommunication. He honored the original quoted price for a battery replacement, even as they also had to replace the screen during the battery replacement (apparently a common issue with old iPads). The staff was nice. Took my phone to replace a part. Agreed to pick up my phone on Monday, instead I waited another day and arrived on Tuesday. When I arrived my phone wasn't ready I had to cancel my next appointment and sit to wait for the part to be delivered. Done. When I got to my next destination I realized he didn't put my lens back on. Cell phone owners beware! I brought my Samsung Galaxy S8+ in to be repaired earlier this year. I do not believe the tech/owner is certified to work on Samsung phones, but I could be wrong. Also, unbeknownst to me, I do not believe he used Samsung certified parts for this repair. I paid him about $200 for the repair (I forget the actual price). He also sold me a clear cell phone case where the back kept coming off and is basically trash now. My cell worked for a couple of months at which point my cell stopped connecting to my cell network (wifi still worked) -- I could not send/receive texts or messages. Since then, I have been having this issue off and on. Multiple techs (certified by Samsung) advised (but could not confirm 100%) that the Galaxy S8+ rarely had any problems and that my motherboard and antenna were likely damaged during the screen repair. Apparently, the issue likely cannot be fixed without replacing the motherboard which would cost some serious $$$$. The last tech that examined my cell advised that the LCD screen looked like it was not properly sealed and that there was dust and debris behind the screen and on top of my camera lens which does not happen to properly sealed phones. I have now had to purchase a new phone. Although I cannot 100% point to this repair as the culprit, I still will not be returning and surely will not recommend them to anyone--there is no such thing as a coincidence! I wish there was a 0 star option. Note that this review was based on my personal experience and and other customers may have had different experiences than I did. read more

I called here to get a quote on a cracked screen. I gave the person on the phone the info he asked for. I drive all the way here a few days later and the price went from $49 to $125...so I was either quoted wrong or someone is trying to get over. Also, the hours posted on the door say they open at 10:30, while online they say 10:00am. Very frustrating. The guy I spoke with was nice, but that does not make up for my wasted trip and unfixed screen. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

Beware!! Brought my iPhone in to replace a cracked screen and left thinking things were all good. I instantly noticed the touch sensitivity was off and within 48 hours later, the screen was cracked right down the middle (clean crack, not dropped or damaged otherwise, no corner impact). This store sells incredibly low quality screens. Don't fall for the low price because you'll still pay more in the long run. This little shop in Houston's Underground Tunnels was beyond spectacular. Their prices were competitive. I had cracked my screen which compromised the waterproof abilities. Unfortunately, once broken it will not ever be at "manufacturers" level again even with a new screen. The technician was very understanding of my concerns. He explained that they can apply more glue to increase the likelihood of a perfect seal. As a customer, it felt good to know that he was aware and made efforts toward recreating the waterproofing seal. Everything was fixed and returned in just under an hour!
