Hip Fit just moved its location from the UWS to Hell's Kitchen, and the new studio is fantastic -- spacious, airy, lots of room to throw punches and practice kicks. The trainers care about each individual class and refrain from mega-bro/fake inspiration vernacular (looking at you Rumble and Soul Cycle). I was actually excited to go back even though I'm only for boutique fitness studios (yes, judge me, IDC!), but throwdown messed up - They cancelled my class a few hours prior via classpass the day of. I lugged my gym clothes out to work just to have them cancel the class with extremely short notice. Not life and death bc I just ended up working out at my local gym that day, but boy that's not how these fitness studios should roll if they want to keep people happy.
