Today was my first visit to I Love Nails in Crystal Beach, and it definitely won't be my last! The salon was clean, welcoming, and had a relaxing atmosphere. Everyone on the staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. My pedicure was wonderful--very relaxing, thorough, and professionally done. I left feeling pampered and refreshed. I'm very concerned about their practice and will be reporting them. I went for a pedicure with my daughter and the lady giving me a pedicure literally forgot the basic steps for giving a pedicure she literally started putting gel nail polish before doing my Cuticles or the calluses treatment!!!! I asked nicely if she was going to do it and then she said she was going to do it after the gel nail polish!!!! I couldn't believe her audacity and that she was being serious!! I was hesitant about this place based on their reviews, but in my experience this place was great! I'm here for a friends wedding and they accepted us all! (5 girls) I'm very happy with my results. I gave her a picture of what I wanted and picked out my base color. She did exactly what I wanted! Now for future goers. There is only a husband and a wife working here. The wife does manicures and pedicures. So the wait will be awhile but I think it's well worth it. This location is also really close to the nearby beach houses. If they are busy like say they have more than 3 other operations to do after what they are doing currently they will tell you to come back later. I got acrylic almond sized nails with custom design. It was originally $65 but she discounted it for me for $60. :3 For normal length and squared acrylic with just base color it's $40-$50. There's extra fees if you want extra stuff. They're really nice wholesome couple. The husband likes to make conversation and to make people laugh. In all I do recommend just be patient with them. read more

Possibly the WORST experience I have ever had at a nail salon! I asked for a pedicure but also had a very bad sunburn so really just wanted my toes trimmed and polished, and my heels treated. The water in the tub was initially really hot, so I asked them to cool it off, and they made it tepid. She brought out the sugar scrub, and I said "no, no, I'm too sunburned" she applied it anyway-stopping only after I started rinsing it off myself, but then tried again on my other leg. Next, she came out of the back with a plastic bag of liquid and asked me to put my foot in it-flat. It was scalding hot wax! (sunburned remember) I screamed out and sunk my foot back into the tub of water. So the technician scraped off the wax with her finger NAILS. The nail polish was applied very sloppy, and my toenails were cut crooked. Possibly the WORST experience I have ever had at a nail salon. The technician that did my nails left while my nails were drying-so I couldn't ask why I was charged $70 for this experience, so the best I can do is warn all of you to stay away from this place. read more

Came in for a pedicure appt while I was camping nearby. Oh my! I have been to LOTS of nail establishments but have never been to one I so thoroughly enjoyed! Spotless, for one thing. The gentleman gave me a relaxing,yet invigorating, exfoliating legs and feet massage, relaxing music..A glass of wine, even given bits of chocolate..The young lady did my gel polish quite nicely after toenail trim. In addition to waiting an hour despite my appointment, the tech either ignored my service request or was incompetent. Regardless, she did not do a dip manicure. To remove whatever she put on my nails literally took hours. I would never go back and would be remiss to not warn others. read more

Me and my husband were treated like royalty. The staff was so friendly and inviting. They treated us like we had been customers for years. The pedicures were amazing. They also have CBD options for the pedicures which is what we chose and loved it. Definitely get the hot wax and stones. Well listen here, every single time that i have scheduled an appointment here, I come in and they have taken a walk in client instead and have not honored the appointment I made ahead of time. I have yet to even get my nails done here because every time they have done this. Made reservations for 4 and they honored our times. The staff were all friendly and did a great job on our pedicure and manicure. The business is cleaned and they are following the Covid guidelines. Unfortunately my experience here was not the best. First, a man who seemed to be the manager had me stick my fingers in warm acetone in order to remove my old shellac. The liquid stung my skin so I complained and he added more room-temperature acetone which didn't help much. The man was quite friendly, but seemed disorganized. My nails were done by Tracy who was very rushed. She seemed cordial, but bothered by my presence, and the work was slip-shod. I had shellac done, but my nails were not smooth or glossy when finished. They were slightly sticky and it seems the top coat was left off. The TV was blaring and the manager brought in several family members during our time there. Only two nail techs were working and it appeared they were rushing to get to his family members. read more

Owner screaming in my face when I tell him the pedicure I received didn't look good because it was rushed. I'm sorry you did not have more than one tech working. He said well you're a walk in. There's a big walk in welcome on the front. Just because I was a walk in doesn't mean I should be fine with paint all over my skin, some nails only painted halfway, smudged polish, etc. Then they wanted to charge me 50 for a sloppy job and the woman doing the pedicure had a horrible attitude when I asked her to please finish taking off my nail polish i had on when I came in. She was just going to paint over it. Then the owner starts to seriously call the cops because I said no I will only pay the 25 for the basic pedicure I asked for. I've never in my life been treated like that, ever. It was insane and I was and still am in shock. Then he told me he doesn't need our group's business. First off, I'm going to start off by saying that I only gave them 2 stars because my nails were pretty straight this time. Last time they were pretty crooked, messy and way too thick. I gave them a second chance today because the ferry line sucks... plus who wants to go over the ferry to Galveston for nails? I regret it so much. Never in my life have I been so heated about nails. She did them too thin, my tips were literally bending. I showed her and she tried to pass it off as if there supposed to be like that! She tried to make me pay for nails that were going to break at the tips! I did make a scene about it and she offered to add another coat of acrylic but she told me to wait after she finished with another customer. Why are you going to make me wait for a job you messed up and didn't finish? I waited a while and she still charged me 45.00! She did not in fact give a fuck that she messed up and made me wait. She also didn't use a dehydrator or primer for three nails she did last time. Guess what? She wasn't going to this time till I brought it to her attention and when I did she only used primer after the tips were applied. I wanted to cry because I was so upset and mad. It was still messy and I have glitter plus residue colored acrylic on all my fingers. My fingers are sore and some acrylic is on my skin instead of my nails. She did fix them, they're a really pretty coral with glitter but the customer service sucked and what she was trying to sell to me is not right at all.
