Salmon, ahi tuna, avocado, cucumber, edamame, garlic vinegar & siracha aioli.

I'm so glad this location exists! I've been wanting to try a good, quality sushi burrito for a long time. They're not very common in this area and those that I've saw haven't appealed to me. I saw a local blogger rave about their build your own sushi burrito a couple weeks ago and I knew I had to try it. I was able to place my order online with breeze, and picked up in store with no issues. Let me just say that this burrito was solid and very filling. It had the perfect ratio of rice, protein and add-ons. It held together really well and didn't crumble apart immediately. The texture was better than I imagined and it tasted absolutely amazing! It was a bit pricey because of the double protein ($11 for each protein). I spent $20+ for this particular combination, but it did not disappoint. I look forward to returning to try their teriyaki and build your own poke bowls.

Overall: Easy to reach location near Trash Panda Stadium. Great food, friendly service, process on par with others sushi places, poke bowls and teriyaki bowls Should you go: Absolutely Review: We got there for dinner and I was pleasantly surprised. It was nice in the inside with lots of seating and friendly service. Is a fast casual place where you pick your food first, they make it and then you pay at the end of the counter. We had the Hawaiian Classic and Yuzi Salmon PoKe bowls and they were both delicious. We went all out and had sushi also and the Miso to try it all. It was all delicious. Everything was fresh and portions were good. Pro: - Great food - Miso machine (automatically dispensers) Con: - None Fat Boy thumbs up here!

California Roll with ginger and Wasabi

Well I'm updating my review. The food this time wasn't bad even though I got white rice even though I ordered fried rice. Not amazing, but it had a nice flavor. I had one of the bowls with beef and California Roll. The bowl was pretty good. The Wasabi and ginger were good on the California Roll. The roll itself was a bit soggy. It had been premade so that was to be expected. I try them again right before closing and see if they have improved.

Build Your Own Sushi Burrito- Ahi tuna was delicious and fresh 1st visit.

I have to give ILSE more love because I went back, well, friend ordered & agreed to pay so I took a chance. I have to say ILSE is absolutely winning the Poké war right now. Bowl compared to Oshi (very rude people) & Aki (throw up action) is very on point, more fresh, closer to Poké in Hawaii & the city where bowls are loaded... ILSE may not have as many toppings but it's working in their favor because they're maintaining it well. Other good points ILSE: 1.They do not argue with customers 2. Bowls are full 4. Customization/ Build your own is substantial & typically fresh 5. I haven't seen any up charges for extra veggies or toppings and we do check our receipts 6. They deliver for about $.99 from the Hub. OSHI CHARGES $6.99 for delivery no matter what= Math Done! And they act like they want a street fight if you ask for extra anything. We vote ILSE for good Poké

I love stopping by I Love Sushi Express in Town Madison for a quick meal. I love that you can build your own sushirrito, poke bowl, poke salad, or Donburi bowl. The ingredients are always fresh and always delicious. They also have grab and go sushi rolls. Great food and service every time!

Sushi tastes exactly like the sit down restaurant version. I really enjoy stopping by here for lunch or on my way home from work. Grab-n-go sushi is always stocked and nothing has ever tasted old or like it had been sitting out for a long time. I just wish the prices weren't so high for a counter service place - I'll keep doing back though.

Dragon Roll and Taro Bubble Tea

Quick and friendly service, the sushi was fresh and amazing, the restaurant was clean and very welcoming! Will definitely be going back!

The I Love Sushi Express off Zierdt is by far one of the best sushi restaurants in the Huntsville area. Fantastic food, awesome staff and fun, clean environment. Gluten-free options available. Highly recommend the sushi burritos. Will be frequenting this location

Ordered a poke bowl which was yummy but the service was almost awful, the lady building my bowl was very impatient with me.

Funny thing about Huntsville's food scene is that it's really hard to find local spots that 1. Last…read moreand 2. Are worth mentioning. But... Where they exist they're embraced. People started mentioning Miso Happy to me a solid year and a half before I finally went. Then it was a... Tsunami. I've always brought no less than 4 people and thrice now there's been groups of teens on tatami mats and gallons of boba. I think what makes Miso Happy is it's ability to be approachable but also fairly authentic in its offerings. This building was... something else. This restaurant used to be called Edo, like the old world Japanese capital and a ton of American Japanese steakhouse across the nation. It looks like a traditional sukiya-zukuri which really has a casual but refined "vibe"... Great for friends and family alike. If you have a group, there's tatami and seiza setting --be advised: drop your shoes and your butt closer to the floor. There's also an embrace of this anime wave as Totoro motif that somehow fits. The staff is inviting and works to accommodate changes as they come up. Now I haven't tried every sushi roll in the place yet but it's reliably fresh and tasty. There's no euphoric or transcendent experience to be had as far as I've experienced BUT... They don't miss, either. There's also donburi and hibachi, bento boxes and lots of "comfortable" dishes to make everybody feel at home. And then there's the ramen. It's among the best in Huntsville... and that's considering even some favorite ramenya in town like Kamado and new comers like Kyuramen. The broths are distinguishable, deeply flavored and has something for just about everyone: shoyu, tonkatsu, beef and veggje/miso options in deep tetsu bowls with a really nice aesthetic. I tried the big wave poke bowl last time and they're also satisfying... Further pushing the idea that Miso Happy is a great Japanese generalist in town. Food: 4.5/5.00 - near tops in the genre locally Atmosphere: 4.25/5.00 - a melding of worlds done well Service: 4.25 - never had a bad visit X-Factor: 4.5 - such a vibe regardless of what you're expecting Overall: 4.375/5.00 Ps: There's a little garden to the left of the entrance that's worth just stopping to admire, especially in good weather.

I'm in town for work and love trying new restaurants. I saw good reviews for this restaurant and…read morethat it was Studio Ghibli inspired and knew I had to try it out. The exterior alone is adorable! A traditional Japanese building with little figurines and even a large Totoro in the garden. It felt whimsical and nostalgic. I was seated right away and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, checking in without being intrusive. The owner even stopped by each table to make sure everything was perfect but didn't linger too long. I started with the takoyaki, and it was one of the best I've ever had. Crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and the octopus was tender. The sauce and bonito flakes were just the right amount. For my entree, I ordered the curry chicken katsu lunch special, which comes with a soup or salad. I chose the miso soup since it was cold out and it was absolutely the right choice. The katsu was perfectly crispy and paired beautifully with the rich Japanese curry. I especially loved the big pieces of mushrooms and onions in the curry. Before heading out, I ordered a lychee green tea with boba and lychee jelly to go. The boba was perfect and didn't get tough sitting in the cold drink like some places. 10/10 would go back and would recommend to anyone who is looking for an authentic and fun Japanese restaurant.

Unfortunately, this location didn't come close to the experience I've had at the Alpharetta, Georgia location. The bright spot of our visit was the service. Our server was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and wonderful with the kids. The kids' Bento Boxes were definitely the highlight. The adorable orange bear, generous portions, and variety of choices were a huge hit. They ordered the sliders with fries and mac & cheese, while my granddaughter enjoyed the salmon with fries and mac & cheese. For myself, I ordered the avocado rolls and the Asian salad with pecan-crusted chicken. Sadly, that's where things went downhill. The avocado rolls were disappointing. They were mushy and tasted like they had been frozen, then quickly reheated rather than freshly prepared. The Asian salad tasted old, the greens weren't fresh, and the pecan-crusted chicken was overly salty and had the flavor and texture of food that had been sitting for far too long. Even the kids' mac & cheese was disappointing--it looked and tasted watered down. I've eaten at the Kona Grill in Alpharetta many times, and the difference in quality is significant. The menu there feels more extensive, and the food consistently tastes fresh and well-prepared. This Huntsville location simply didn't deliver the same experience. Excellent service deserves recognition, but unfortunately great service couldn't make up for the poor food quality. Based on this visit, I can't recommend spending your time or money here.

And I highly recommend them always), a chardonnary, lemongrass chicken, and chicken fried rice to go for the Hubs. First off, they now serve Sutter home wine in airplane plastic bottles. YUCK. Even their wine previously, which was poured from a bottle, was nargial but it was better than this, which was awful! Again the rolls were delish, as always! Thanks for that! The peanut dipping sauce was delicious also! So there's that. On to the main, the lemongrass chicken. It should have been called sauteed bell pepper and onions with white rice. The chicken was finely chopped for the most part and I left hungry. All this was 40.00 with a tip and again it was not the standard Viet Huong used to have with hearty meals that constantly made a nice leftover lunch for me. They have gotten stingy on their protein at least in the lemongrass. I noticed it last time I came here and chocked it up to being an off night. Well it's apparantly the new norn. This is one of mybdwarrst friend/Sorority Sister's favorite places to eat as she typically gets their Pho. I'll go back if I get to enjoy her company, I just don't plan to visit solo again. It's too expensive to get awful "wine" and skimpy proteins. The last next to me was another soko diner and complained about her (I think) vegan or vegetarian meal she called in advance about and then showed up and it wasn't available per her request. There was no manager working the floor and I didn't complain, and likely that's why I didn't see a manager. I do hope your experience at this long-standing locallwd owned and opened by a high school classmate is much better than my last two visits were.

It's been a while ya'll. Abby was our sweet server and walked us through the menu, explaining their specials and giving suggestions on what she recommended entrée wise. It's prom season and so many handsome couples were enjoying their pre prom dinners it was really fun to see the yutes all dressed up! Because their 3-course meal deal, starting at $15.90 was such a great deal, we went with that and decided to share our choices. I got the bourbon chicken and tempura shrimp, and Sister got the chimichurri mahi-mahi. Both dishes came with our choice of Caesar salad or house salad and an individual brownie with your choice of sauces. We got all the sauces on the side. The Caesar was good despite "dying" quickly since I should have asked for the dressing on the side. The chicken was okay, the mahi-mahi was okay, too. They were cooked just fine, just not a lot of interesting flavors. The shrimp tempura were plain fried shrimp. Again, okay, without a lot of flavor. Both entrees came with white rice and steamed broccoli. Since we were given ample meals and it was under $50.00, including their complimentary bread with olive oil sauce, we were pleased with the price point. Their wine was extra cold and delicious! The staff, including the host and hostess were all friendly, and stayed busy even thought the restaurant was not on a wait. Do consider Bonefish, as other options for the 3-course meal deal include bang bang shrimp tacos, shrimp cavatappi pasta, half pound burger, kung pao shrimp bowl and the mahi-mahi and chicken we ordered.
