Against my better judgement, I decided to give it another shot. Primarily bc my kids wanted sushi. The whole revolving thing is gone. Ordered a chicken teriyaki for the kiddo, and I swear, the chicken tasted like it was cooked yesterday, and reheated today. Miso soup was luke warm. Tell me this, how is it they can't even get the rice right? Literally one of the most important components of anything sushi? Ngl I think they're using regular rice and the water:rice ratio is off (too much water); and on top of that I don't think they even put vinegar or seasoning to create the sushi rice. Anyway sushi rolls come to the table and the waitress walks away. Then she candidly realizes, omg they might need plates and sauce trays (!). We were lucky enough to get them finally and by a miracle of god, could now begin eating. The rolls were mediocre at best, and only seemed decent when drowned in sauces, to mask the textures we're used to experiencing in sushi. The crunch roll (one step above the most basic roll) tasted like the panko was old (either that or the oil used was terribly old). The eel was decent, and I think the scallops are making my stomach hurt rn. This place has come a long way, and not in a good way. You can tell it's about to shut its doors any day soon. Whoever Mr lee is could give a rats ass about this establishment. Atleast under Mr yu it was running well, inviting and decent enough to be called a restaurant. Was craving sushi and saw these as one of the options, while along the 210 route. Plenty of parking and the restaurant was clean, including the restroom. We were greeted when we entered and seated by a waitress, who seemed to be new. She handed us menus but didnt explain any deals or highlight any options. But she did bring us small plates, ginger, and wasabi. We chose from the happy hour menu. Rolls and sashimi, we ordered, came out quickly. Nothing was particularly memorable. The rolls tasted similar to one another and had a high rice-to-filling ratio. The sashimi was not thinly sliced, like I expected. Could have been provided with oils to help with the flavor. Overall, I'd recommend this spot if you'd like to watch live games. There are tvs throughout the restaurant, you can choose booths, tables, or the bar, and beer/soju items. read more

if you don't mind paying 16 bucks a roll and 4 per individual seafood roll. the sushi itself is good but everything else is questionable. I ordered a ramen bowl with beef as the 14 dollar plane ramen had none. when the waitress served me my bowl it was maruchan top ramen with paper thin meat and undercooked noodles for the grand price of 16 dollars. sorry to say I left without eating any more than a taste of broth. the inside looks very nice and it's a shame the food itself is half decent. hopefully there is improvements on the quality soon. read more

Yesterday I took my family out for sushi and found this place. The food was great, but what was unexpected was the excellent service that we got from Julie. So I haven't been here since before the pandemic ... but man am I happy that we went back! The ambiance and inside was clean and spacious. They were also playing music at a decent volume and had tv's on with the football game on. So unfortunately I couldn't get pictures of everything because I'm not sure why Yelp only allows 10 photos at per location review now... but I'll label the rolls we got in the caption below. We got an array of food to sample everything. First, we started with tempura calamari & tempura shrimp for apps. They came out crispy and hot. Usually when we go places too the tempura is oily but it wasn't here which is good. Next my husband got the Snow roll and crunch munchy roll. I got the fresh spring roll and dynamite roll. Then we got the chicken katsu entree so we could give the chicken and rice to our daughter. May I just saw all the food was absolutely amazing!! Amazing! If I had to dig at something, the spring lettuce in the fresh spring roll had one tiny piece of lettuce that was old or dirty and brown. But I took it out and inspected the others before I ate them and they were good! I truly enjoyed the food for the price we paid! Definitely recommend going again! We were driving by and decided to stop by. They no longer do AYCE. The place outside seems like any other restaurant, but once inside, it's surprising. It's nice, classy enough for a nice date. Haven't came back here since pandemic because it wasn't a good experience. I came back today and it was definitely a better experience. We were seated right away and had our drink and food orders taken in a short amount of time. I enjoyed how organized the team was. For example, we had one person designated to handle our drink order, another to take our food order, and another person checking in on us and our drink refills. I give praise to the team for being so efficient and organized! The food: We ordered the combo sushi with teriyaki and crunch roll, which came with a miso soup, for $14. Then we ordered three additional rolls to share with my husband, which was a plentiful amount of food for both of us. The server brought, and amuse busche when my beverage order was served...nice touch. I ordered a spicy hand roll and chicken teriyaki. Both were delicious and very satisfying. The spicy Heneral was not too spicy. The portion was generous. My chicken teriyaki was delicious, the chicken was cooked perfectly and there was a nice smoky grill flavor. The chicken had a nice drizzle of teriyaki. It wasn't drenched like most places. the food was really good, we had ordered vegetable fried rice because it was cheaper and didn't include the beef and meat, etc. we ended up getting that beef and meat fried rice instead, which was $20 instead of our $15 vegetable rice, but our waitress, maria, went to the back and was able to offer the same rice to us but discounted it to $15, we just had to pick out all the meat, cool. however, the three of us had all ordered thai teas. the waitress came over, and saw my friends empty glass and asked if she needed a refill. she said yes because we expected it to be free. we didnt figure out we had gotten charged for an extra thai tea until i asked if we were billed again, which the waitress said "yeah, we don't offer free refills, you're being charged for another drink basically" which is another $6. if i had known we were being charged, my friend wouldnt have agreed to the refill. I had to keep asking our server for specific items constantly, to where I felt uncomfortable asking. E.g., water refills, sauces, plates that never got picked up etc. one thing I will say is that the California rolls and Philadelphia rolls are really good for the pricing. And the ambience is definitely a vibe. It's very cozy and intimate. On the weekends it can get packed. So it's a good date night. Heads up on the hand rolls, you actually have to have your veggies requested if you get that. We did not know our first time, so we literally got a seaweed wrapped fish with rice. It was very bland.
