First, a disclaimer: We live in Roswell and love Vietnamese food, so were thrilled when a reputable Pho restaurant opened a Roswell location. We dined there one evening in early December 2021. The physical space is excellent - well lit, nicely decorated and comfortably furnished, with clean, bright bathrooms and a reasonable noise level. The menu is comprehensive and the food is very good. Their website (as at early December 2021) does not mention alcohol in its beverage menu so we took our own wine. They initially said that was ok, but when we were leaving, they told us not to bring our own wine next time. Despite the absence of alcohol on their website, they did actually have a bar and dozens of bottles of wine and some spirits, We asked to see a wine list/cocktail menu but were told they didn't have one. Strangely, they did not have any wine glasses, either. The wine bottles were assembled in a random collection at the end of the bar. None of the white wines were chilled. From our limited experience with Vietnamese cuisine, the food was very good, and consistent with our experiences along Buford Highway. The service was just ok, and the servers showed absolutely zero personality - they were simply there to take orders and serve and were unconcerned about the niceties of service, or it's importance to the customer experience. All in all, this could be a promising addition to Roswell restaurants, but a great disappointment in terms of the current execution. We wish I Luv Pho Roswell well, but believe they will need to step up their game if they are to survive in the highly competitive Roswell dining market. read more

I ordered ramen with chicken and pork. It was too salty to eat and it is one of my most favorite dishes. I just said tonight it wasn't good and I'd like to send it back. When the bill came I asked why she hadn't removed it from my bill- she said you ordered it - you pay for it. I said it wasn't edible- she said that was my problem I shouldn't have ordered it if I didn't like it. It wasn't my first time here- but it will be my last. read more

We have been in this restaurant few times, the food was mediocre. Our Kids decided to order their XL bowl, the portion is way too small versus the price they charged. And we have group of 7, they only brought out 2 small plates of the beans sprout and the 2 slices lime on each plate. Are you serious? Won't be back and very disappointed. read more

The owner lady is very rude. The other servers are nice, except this owner lady. The restaurant was empty when I arrived. It was pretty breezy there as the fans are all going. I asked her where I can sit with the least breeze. Looking annoyed, she said, "It's all like this everywhere, you want the heater on or not?" And then, she took my order and didn't ask me the size. When I realized that the size was never mentioned, about less than 2 minutes afterwards, I asked her that I wanted small. She looked at me, walked away without saying anything, talked to other customer, then from that distance, looking annoyed, she said she would charge me small. I guess it would inconvenience her to put the correct size for my order in the system, updating the assumed size that she had put in. I wasn't there to be disrespected. By the way, the roll for the bahn mi is store bought, perhaps from Kroger. It is not authentic Vietnamese bun. It is pretty daunting to eat. read more

First time here, the interior is bright and clean. The seating is spacious. So many options. We ordered Bahn mi, several kinds of pho, a pork sampler plate and Bo Luc loc. the portions were huge. Everything was hot and fresh. Lots of fresh condiments were provided. The pho was delicious, giant bowl. Chicken egg rolls and crab Rangoon were very good. Crispy and not greasy. We love it here; food is always cheap, fresh and delicious. Our favorite dishes are Pho and broken rices plates. They have best rice dishes in Roswell/Alpharetta area. Our kids' all time favorite is broken rice with grilled pork and shrimp paste. One time, I ordered a few rice dishes for work. They have the best Pho broth. I get P24 item which is the white chicken pho comes with a side of sprouts, cilantro, jalapeño and lime to add.I always add a few drops of the Sriracha not much but it makes it soo better. I have had the chicken and veggie clay pot, really good and the fried rice is like a pancake, my fav part of the dish. Beware an XL is huge. In my pics you can see a medium bowl of shrimp pho and my XL P24. ITS GREAT, depending on how much you eat, you probably will have a pint and half to take home. I did. Con: the menu is vast and you don't know what's in a lot of the dishes because its missing descriptions. The only frustrating part. The wait staff is new and don't know either. The owners *I think* due to language barriers can't understand my questions enough to explain. I had the thai tea, which is sweet but if you eat your pho by adding that Sriracha its no longer sweet but cools your mouth because mlks in it. It actually became a way better drink. I have been I Luv pho on Buford Highway. It was okay there. So when I saw this Roswell Location opening up, I was excited to be able to get my Pho fix. Not sure if I hit this place on bad timing (Monday after New Year) but was a day off for some office workers. 30 minutes to get a pho order to go is just unacceptable. I am not sure if they know what they are doing. This is so unfortunate. I would love to support a Pho establishment like this. During arrival, the staff didn't say anything like what can I get for you? I had to speak to this person. Untrained in customer service. Bad start. Second, after 15 minutes of waiting, I see a customer walks in and seat herself. And 10 minutes later she gets her pho. No one is manning the front desk, ya'll. The decor and the open glass kitchen are nice but where is the service? I should be able to get my pho to go within 10 minutes. There should be a takeout person who packs this like a ninja. Instead, I get tall ignorant guys who take longer than 10 minutes to do one task. Where do you get them from? What is even worse is one of the seated customers was complaining to either an owner or manager saying that he got their order wrong - to which they suggested that he should have written down the order. WTH? Just to be transparent, my fave has always been Saigon Pho in Woodstock, love their broth, their noodles, their service. Just don't like it that they are located a little bit further than I liked. But you know what? Worth the drive. read more

I am going to say it this spot has the best Banh Mi in the metro area. If there is a better I need to know immediately. I had the ultimate Banh Mi! I have been here many times over the last couple of years they have been open, it just gets worse and worse. After this visit will never come back. This place sucks. first, this is one of the best vietnamese food restaurants in the area. i have tried a bunch of them and eaten this type of food in vietnam and other big metro areas around the country. for the roswell/allpha/milton area, it is pretty darn good. the problem: they consistently get the orders wrong. leave oit items. or put one type of protein instead of the one you ordered. or what you order extra doesnt make it into the order. and finally with this last order, there were about 1/3 less of the noodles in the vermicelli bowl that i am used to getting. read more

Being Vietnamese and living in North Fulton County, I can't begin to tell you how excited I was to find out that I Love Pho opened a location in Roswell. I've been at several of the other I Love Pho locations, and I am so happy that there is now a location in my own backyard. Not many Vietnamese restaurants in the area have the wide variety of menu options offered by I Love Pho. The question for me was: Will the food at I Love Pho Roswell be as good as locations in more traditional Asian communities such as Doraville and Duluth? Well, tonight I visited the new Roswell location, and I am happy to say that the food was top-notch. Tonight, I tried A7. Canh Ga Chien (Fried chicken wings - lemon pepper), K51. Banh Mi Bo Kho (Spicy beef stew with French bread), C.36 Korean BBQ Beef, and G1. Goi Ga (Chicken salad). The food presentation was beautiful, and the favors were excellent. The spicy beef stew lived up to its name... spicey, but it was not overpowering. The Vietnamese-French bread was soft. It was a nice kick that complemented the other favors of the stew. The Korean BBQ Beef was also a big hit at my table, and I only got one or two bites before it was gobbled up. The Vietnamese iced coffee was also a nice treat. Other good things to know: The interior of the restaurant looks very clean and new. The décor is very elegant with a mix of crystal chandelier lighting, artistic back light signs, and large screen TVs along the walls playing various Vietnamese cuisine programs. Since the restaurant is part of a larger shopping center, parking was convenient and free. The service was polite and attentive. There was one minor slip up on my order, but that is to be expected when a new restaurant opens, and the service expeditiously fixed the error to my satisfaction. There are a growing number of good authentic Asian restaurants appearing in the North Fulton area, and I am happy to say that I Love Pho is one I plan to visit over and over. read more

Very nice seating and interior. We went a little early for lunch and the service was very good. They make an excellent fresh lemonade. Tried the shrimp/pork roll. Very fresh and the peanut sauce was a good complement. The stone pot lunch I had had a generous amount of shrimp, noodles, vegetables as well as crispy rice. My wife had a gigantic bowl of beef and vegetables and it had a really good beefy broth. We have plenty of leftovers that we are looking forward to enjoying for lunch again. Wanted to love it but it straight up wasn't good. If you're considering the Holcomb bridge location, go down the road to Pho Roswell for significantly better, more flavorful pho. Then he brought me an item while arguing that pig ears were not pork. When I asked him if I could change the item, he said I still have to pay and I should know how to order.
